Yessss — a dive bar in Pensacola! With views from the deck but dirty, smoky, divey inside! Just like I like ‘em. My BF’s local friends told us to stop by here as it was one of their fave hangouts so we gave it a try. We went up the stairs on the side of the building, went inside, and holed up at the bar and got some beer. Next thing you know we are talking to the awesome bartender and getting shots. Random assortment of locals and tourists but I’d guess mostly locals are holed up in here on a Friday afternoon. Bathrooms are through a door and down a hall that runs beside the bar… and there’s a shower in the bathroom too which was cool I think? They also have an outside bar and deck overlooking the water which is nice. We sat there when we came back Sunday night and watched some football on the TV. If it is dead they will close the outdoor bar but you can still get some beer inside and bring it back out. It is basic, it is divey, and it is overlooking the water. Sabine Sandbar is my kind of place!

This was a nice place to end a long day of traveling and hanging out in Pensacola Beach.

I was with the O.K. party and had a blast at the Sandbar. Great service, stupid cheap drinks, and a lovely view. If within a 50 mile radius again I shall return.

Oh Sabine’s. I hope you have recovered from our attack. Last Friday night i hosted a wedding pre-party at Sabine’s for friday night Karaōke. There were about 15 – 20 people not in our group, and probably 50 of us. We sang, we danced, we tipped the awesome bartender Lori like she was a stripper. You should go here because it is quiet and way less«jersey Shore» than the boardwalk. It has real people being real cool. But call ahead if you want Jameson whiskey because they ran out and poor Kevin was sad.

Pretty neat place to hang out and loiter. Mostly an older crowd and most(if not all) seem to be regulars and know each other. This bar is on the second storey and has a great, west-facing deck to view the sun setting over Little Sabine. Drinks are great and prices reasonable. The jukebox sucks, though… if you are younger than 68 or so.
