This bar has a friendly, laid back attitude with good, affordably– priced items. Their rice bowl with blackened fish was remarkable, as was my wife’s fish taco.

Great service. Thank you, Ken. Good food. Good drinks. Very ‘happening’ beach vibe. You might walk by, based on its appearance, since it is a beach shack, but it’s well worth stopping for. Try the deep fried pickle chips!

This is a great place if you know what you are walking into. Its a little shack across from the water that makes lovely Sangria. The food may be good. We did not eat. I was expecting a bunch of exciting tiki cocktails. They do have a full bar but I didn’t notice anything unique about the drink menu.

What a great discovery!!! Great fresh food and friendly helpful service. View of the water is wonderful. Real nice Saturday afternoon. I live in St Pete but I’ll be back w friends soon.

This is a cute little place!!! Have been here several times with my significant other and we always have a great time. The staff here has always been very friendly and very helpful when it comes to beer selections and menu items. Granted, we have not had many of the menu items but, we have tried many of their beer selections. We have had the pico salsa and chips, which also comes with guacamole. My significant other has had the tuna tacos and really likes them.
I really wish, however, that they had a full liquor license. While I have had some good beers here, I am really not a beer fan. That aside, again, it is a really fun little place. I hope they do well and are here for years to come.
Another little treasure in the beautiful town of Gulfport.

The only good quality about this place is the location. Upon arriving, a waitress told us that we couldn’t sit because there was a 15 – 20 minute wait for food, but we just wanted a few drinks, so she told us to sit wherever we like. On a cheap piece of construction paper was the drink menu. (I only say cheap construction paper to highlight how easy it would be for them to print up to date-​ish drink menus.) Ordered a mimosa, but the waiter came back and said there was no OJ, so we tried to order another beer off the menu that was a seasonal. They haven’t had it for a while apparently. Then tried for a Corona Light, which is a pretty common beer, they didn’t have that either, but he brought out some other random Mexican beer. Wasn’t worth it to try for another so sucked it up and drank that. Would probably never come back willingly when there are so many other waterfront bars to give our money to.

A go to place for us near our home. Everything is good and the tacos are consistently my choice. Cool, funky beach atmosphere with a slightly obstructed view of the bay and a beach volleyball court. Laid back atmosphere but not slow. Good prices on decent house wine and reasonable prices all the way round. Live music a couple of nights per week. Try it!

I love the date and goat cheese appetizer. Have not ever had a bad meal here. We tried three different sandwiches yesterday and each one was so flavorful. They are out of this world good. Stop in and have a refreshing beverage and try something, you won’t be sorry.

Highly recommended! Amazing food, service and location. Blackened fish tacos are the best we have ever had. Try the Tuna Wontons to start and you’ll fall in love with them. The folks that work there are so friendly and accommodating, you’ll fall in love with them too. It’s our «go to place» in Gulfport.

Stopped Saturday night– night of gecko fest.
Was there a little before 9.
Ordered a burger. And beers
Burger took 45 minutes. Was well done and cold.
Service was to occupied with an employee who quit that eve.
Our service was slow!!! Prices where high. Food wasn’t good!
Will not be back

One star but the review should be zero. Horrible slow service. We ordered at 1:30 and didn’t have any of our ordered food after 3pm passed. One food item on the ticket of 6 people was in the process of being made when I asked. So I politely asked to cancel and take our bill for drinks thus far, since I had to be to work shortly after. The rude older waitress claimed that we could not leave because one food item was already being made, and threatened to call the cops to sort it out when I simply stated that I had no more time to spare to wait. I heard the food is good here but I will never be back ever again. Steer clear.

I’ve walked past this place 100 times. I kept noticing how they were trying hard to bring in new business. Signs, decorations, pint, specials, lighting, etc. I was in Gulfport today on a jet ski run and stopped at the pier for lunch. I had the best fish tacos ever. Don’t tell the Coast Guard but I also had to two $ 2 mimosas. My partner had fish and chips and was equally satisfied. We will definitely, absolutely be back.

Great view overlooking Gulfport Beach, good beer selection, awesome mussels, gator, and fish tacos.
Awesome place to take a friend or date if your looking for casual, but in a great location with fantastic food.

Decided to come here and grab a beer before an event across the street. We sat at a table outside by the bar and were immediately greeted and had our orders taken. Didn’t get a chance to see the inside area so not sure how big the restaurant is. They carry local brews though, which is awesome!
Beers came out quickly and we ordered a calamari as an appetizer which came out in less than 10 minutes– awesome! Calamari was breaded nicely. Squid was nice and tender, not tough. And the remoulade it was served with was yummy with just the right kick in spiciness.
Service was great and the clientele seemed like they were all regulars. Our server was actually from our hometown area– small world! Would definitely come back next time I’m in the area as the menu looks really good. Gulfport is growing on me, what a great little city!

Unfortunately my last visit wasn’t as good as previous visits. The salsa is basically just onions and tomatoes cut in large hunks. nothing like salsa. When I explained that wasn’t what we wanted (we ordered salsa) the waitress argued that it was always like that and left it. I know it wasn’t always like that because we use to love it. The hummus was very odd and we didn’t eat that either. The waitress didn’t try to make anything right. I loved this place and sadly will never go back.

Sangria fabulous. Beans and rice just a slight delicious kick. The fish tacos a bit boring. The pulled pork was a bit dry, but the service was excellent and the view of water very relaxing.

ok folks. did you ever walk in a place and got a good vibe? Well this
place has such a great vibe and has all the characteristics of an outstanding restaurant!

The owners are so friendly and down to earth you want to be friends with them forever. just good people.

The décor in the tiki hut is so island like and comfortable! There is seating
outside and inside if you want a/​c.
3) The food is just what you would expect… delicious and fresh! I had the cuban sandwich and it was the best I have ever had. The chips and salsa are a great starter and so fresh! I also had the beef tacos which were amazing. . bursting with flavor.
Only visiting gulfport for a few days and I will be heading back no doubt.
Bravo folks. bravo!
