Mosaic Restaurant and Bar is a nice mixture of Spanish and Mediterranean theme located in Gulfport. The service here was great when I came last Saturday night. Although it was late, the workers here were friendly and helpful.
–hookah available: limited flavor selection though
-$ 5 Sangria special: I was offered a sample from the bartender and overall I thought it tasted like a dessert wine. way too sweet for my taste buds
–drink selection: Pisco Sour. Too sweet I thought it would be more sour, this was just okay I should have gotten something stronger
–accommodating workers: kitchen was closed as I came late night, but yet was still offered tuna dip and hummus they could whip up. heck ya I’ll take that :) nice nibbler to go with my sweet cocktail
–decent pricing
–good service! =]

Excellent service. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my friend and I when we strolled in late tonight looking for some hookah and grub. Although their kitchen had just closed, the waiter offered to go back to their kitchen and throw some plates together for us, which he did. Both the hummus and smoked tuna dip were yummy and hit the spot. The bartender and general manager was also very friendly and offered samples of sangria and recommendations for upcoming events around town. It’s a large venue with plenty of seating; they play good music too.

Restaurant has only been open for about 3 weeks. Place was pretty empty but considering the AC was broke (Supposed to have it running tomorrow) and it was Monday, didn’t expect it to be full. Sat at the bar where Chelsea gave me the info on the restaurant and recommendations for dinner.
Wasn’t starving so I settled on her recommendations of a smoked tuna appetizer which was excellent (served with homemade potatoes chips for scooping) and the Mahi fish tacos. The two fish tacos were very good as well. Very flavorful with the pineapple salsa.
Neat atmosphere. Has nice outdoor seating area as well.

Great food and music. The service was pretty bad. Had a new guy that couldn’t handle his shift. Waited a long time for drinks. Very nice décor and location. Wish the menu had more on it. Very limited choices. Clean and welcoming. Overall a good place but nothing memorable.
