Where do I start? This was by far the worst hotel I have ever attempted to stay at. It was down right disgusting. We walked in and the air conditioner casing was broken and dirty, one of the comforters had a huge hole in it and both comforters had multiple cigarette burns(this was a non smoking room on top of it), one of the corners in the bathroom was filthy and the another corner had cracking tiles, there was what appearing to be a smear of blood on the side of the tub, and there was a bug on the wall. To top off the night when we pulled back the sheets there was lice. I am a registered nurse and I have seen lice and that was lice. Of course at this point I refused to stay. We packed up at 2am and just made the 3 hour trip home. When we went to leave the door wouldn’t even shut properly. I really don’t know how this place is still open. The conditions are deplorable. The lady at the desk said my money would be refunded and it didn’t seem like I was the first. Sleep in the car before you sleep here!

Seedy place dude with no shirt or shoes on yelling at his dog. I’m sure this place has been on the show cops before. On the bright side-cheap, on site laundry & next door to Krispy Kreme.

I booked 2 ajoining rooms at this hotel and I have to say I will never stay there again. Between the two rooms I had a few complaints. In one room the blow dryer didn’t work, the bathroom didn’t close or lock, a maid walked in while I was changing and didn’t knock, there were some sort of little black things in-between the sheets in my daughters bed, I found a roach, and the room only had one chair so my husband and I couldn’t eat dinner together. In the second room there was no coffee pot, there were dirty/used towels in the bath tub that were there when we checked in, and the desk light didn’t work. To top it off, someone called my room saying they were from the front desk and they were having a problem with the system and needed my credit card information again. It sounded weird, so I went to the front office to speak to the manager and he said there was no problem with the system. Turns out this person was calling all the rooms and asking for there information. When I called the customer service number no one showed any concern nor did they ever do anything about it. Now I know when I visit Gulfport I won’t b spending my money there. For anyone who thinks about staying here PLEASEDON’T. I promise you will regret it.
