Otherwise, it’s hard not to like this place. I’ve found some great things there for housewares and decorating over the years. They carry Le Crueset, Cuisinart and a bunch of other good brands in the cooking department. Today I picked up some Calvin Klein dining placemats at 4 for $ 7!
There are a good selection of pillows, including more of those Calvin Klein selections I’m drawn to.
Then there’s the stuff for gifts, like chocolates, teas, biscuits, cooking mixes, fancy olive oils. I just bought all of my stocking stuffers here in one fell swoop!
They carry creams and body washes and lotions too, perfect for inexpensive gifts.
As for clothing, I’ve found some great activewear essentials: Marmot lightweight jackets, Adidas, Puma, and Reebok running shorts and track pants, and plenty of other things. I’ll often look for the things with red tags for deeper discounts.
If you find something marred or imperfect, it’s also worth asking for a discount at the register which they can apply. Today I saved $ 5.99 each off two $ 19.99 pillows because they had a small snag in them.
I went to pick up a red enamel Cuisinart Dutch oven for a gift for a friend (Lists at $ 199, Overstock and Amazon have it for $ 129, and I paid $ 69.99) and left with an additional two beautiful serving plates, 8 CK placemats, 4 CK pillows, some tea and biscuits for gifts, a cute French blue goat cheese baker with spreader for a gift, a cute little evening clutch to give to my housekeeper as a holiday gift, 3 pairs of track pants, new Essie nail polish for my next New Year’s eve pedicure, lavender oil to relax, 8 gorgeous heavy Nachtmann aspen crystal highball glasses (which cost $ 60 at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and I paid $ 32), and three bottles of bloody mary mix. I saved 10% by getting a card and they gave me an additional card for $ 10, plus with the $ 12 off the pillows, I only spent $ 300. What. A. Bargain?
