Well, its pizza hut lol what do you expect? Twas a lazy Sunday, football was on and didnt want to cook. We decided to try their new ‘crusts” and created our own pizza. I got the pepperoni with spinach and pretzel crust. And the other one was bacon with sausage and asiago crust. 2 medium pizzas, 4 toppings total = $ 6.99 each. The pizza wasnt bad for a quick fix. But after 2 – 3 slices, i was very full and didnt want to eat anymore of it. Our bacon and sausage pizza was VERY greasy for some reason… maybe it was the bacon? Too greasy for my liking. Still got half of each pizza sitting in the fridge waiting to be eaten. This gurnee location isnt too bad. A little run down and kinda greasy feeling when you walk in. Probably would make the atmosphere a bit better if there was better lightening in the restaurant. They also have a few arcade games for kids right when you walk in. Orders are prompt and quick. Never had to wait pass«pick up time.»

We were just about to drive into Great America and hit some rollercoasters, when my wife said, «Sure I’m hungry lets go to Pizza Hut and grab some food!» I was like, «I never said I was hungry!» I guess I am not good at taking a HINT!(but we were talking about cutting into my rollercoast time… so I think I was being selective on what HINT I would listen to) Service was a little slow… the menu is not that hard anymore… basically you have three choices $ 8-$ 10-$ 12…I have no idea why there menu is like 8 pages long… it is 3 pricing pizza… maybe that is why the waiter did not bother us. He was nice… I was probably being impatient thinking about getting in a rollercoaster line. It also took us a while to get our pizza too… I think that phone orders get priority over diners… if I call on the phone the pizza is ready in 12 minutes! We definately were waiting over 20 mintues to get it. Now I am not promoting that Pizza Hut is the best pizza in the world but it is definately a cheap alternative when you are trying to feed 3 and one is a kid… pizza is definately kid friendly!
