TJ Maxx

I’m not sure if this is the location in Gurnee Mills mall but I hope so. I loved this store! The aisles were clean and clothes were in the right places. I don’t really like looking through every single rack just to get a bargain so I kinda skim through the clothes. I found 2 pairs of awesome skater-​type shoes! My girlfriend and BFF hated them so I knew they were good to go for me to buy. I love to wear funky type things that nobody else would wear so I can be the only one rockin them! Anywho, I also bought a Calvin Klein sweater for only $ 15! I found all types of great deals here! Will definitely come back here when the weather gets better!

As I’ve said in past reviews, I’m not that bargain, dig through the racks kind of shopper. However, my mother, the shopping queen, is. My job is moving to another office and our dress code has changed. I now realize that none of my dress pants fit and I need some. I’m on a budget, so I email my mother and ask her where I can find some decent dress pants for about $ 25.00 a pair… She knows exactly where to go, of course. TJ Maxx, she says, has some cheaper than that on clearance and we are going to night…
I hate this store, just because I see nothing but garbage when I walk in, I never bother to LOOK through the garbage to find the good stuff. But my mom, on the other hand, loves this store (not exactly this particular location…) so we walk in and go right to the clearance rack and VOILA! Dress pants for $ 5 — $ 15! Now those are prices I can GET with…
After trying on several pair, I walked out with 3 pair of pants (one for $ 15, one for $ 5 and one for $ 7) a sweater for $ 15 and a new coat for $ 26!!! WOOOHOOO, I loves me a bargain. I got all of that for exactly $ 75 and some change… although all the pants have to be hemmed (I am on the short side), I don’t mind…
So I’m giving this store 3 stars for having such great bargains, and having things in my size. and for the great new chocolate brown winter coat that I got for under $ 30!
