Wonderful gifts! I love the place. I do not live Baltimore now, If I did this would be my place to shop for wonderful gifts.

I visited this spot yesterday for the first time and will definitely be back. One of those under-the-radar gems of Baltimore! The selection of tasteful, handcraft gifts is just wonderful. Most of the shop is filled with items from U.S. artisans. It’s classy stuff, and the couple who run the shop are knowledgeable and helpful about everything they stock. It’s a lot of things you might see in the Uncommon Goods catalog, but it helps so much to hold the items in your hands when deciding on that perfect gift! I definitely walked out with a few extra purchases, and I don’t regret it whatsoever.

Wow. This place is amazing. Not only have they been around for over 40 years, but they have some of the most unique and beautiful pieces I’ve ever seen. The owner goes all over the US and Europe to find vendors who sell high quality items that you couldn’t get anywhere else. There are two floors in this place to house the collection. They sell everything from locally crafted pottery to paintings, wrapping parchment from Italy and puzzle-like jewelry boxes made from rare and also artistically processed woods, as well as dressers and chairs. If I lived in Baltimore, this would be my go-to place to get gifts, however since I don’t, I just have to settle on visiting whenever I go. It’s definitely not for the weak wallet, and some of the items aren’t really my taste, but it’s so worth it to go in here and look for locally made pottery or items from Europe you wouldn’t find anywhere else. Pros: Amazing items that will have anyone guessing where you got it from — A great place to get something for the ‘hard to buy for’ Cons: — You can get lost in here for an hour — You’re likely to splurge and leave with a light wallet — You can’t order online
