New location for them. Excellent service and food. The best torta I’ve ever had. The chips are a little salty but was not a huge deal. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend anyone to come here if they would like a very good Mexican meal.

Yum! Was craving Mexican today and made an impromptu trip to Tu Casa. Friendly service, bright atmosphere, and delicious food. The salsa is great, the guacamole was fresh, and the shrimp tacos were the bomb. They came with beans and rice; the rice was flavorful, the beans weren’t bad but were a little watery. Overall a great meal though that definitely hit the spot. I will be back!

Wonderful margaritas, chips, Salsa, Carne Asada and family that takes great care of everyone. If you have not been, I would highly recommend that you give it a try and support our local community.

Tu Casa in Gypsum is truly a gem in our valley. Rubin, Alma, Aspen, Sydney and Basil are the most gracious hosts and the food is so delicious! Everything is hand made and definitely not from a can. The jalapeño sauce that Rubin makes from scratch could be put on vanilla ice cream and still be phenomenal. Speaking of vanilla ice cream, the fresh hot churros served on a mound of ice cream and whipped cream and chocolate sauce make the perfect addition to any meal. If you haven’t tried this local family owned and operated restaurant, try to do so soon. ITISSOGOOD!

The atmosphere is nice. It’s very clean, especially the bathrooms. However the food is just okay. Kids has Mac n Cheese & enchiladas which looked alright. Hubby & I split the nachos. There wasn’t enough cheese on them and it didn’t come with salsa?! Also, we were going to split the fish tacos but they were breaded :((I can’t have gluten). The menu didn’t say they were breaded. Hubby said they were just alright. The refried beans were for sure from a can.

Somebody recommended this place to me. I’ve driven by it many times but never stopped. Well, today I did and must say I’m surprised how good it is. I ordered the fish tacos to go with the complimentary chips and salsa. Awesome!!! Big chunks of tilapia fish and the plate comes with refried beans and rice. Total bill with soda came to $ 12.95. Can’t beat that! Plus, they have American food for those that don’t want Mexican.

Nice place, with nice people running it. I wanted to really like it. It just came up short. Bland salsa. Mole was just ok. The carne asada was pretty good. Nice ceviche. Bland iced tea. Nothing was a stand out, «I will come back for this» meal. Sunday does have $ 1.00 tacos. That might be worth trying out.

This place gets the job done when I’m graving Mexican food. Considering its in a small town in the middle of the mountains its pretty good. The mole is pretty decent, as well as the salsa. stay away from the frozen margaritas, stick with them on the rocks. Service is always fast and friendly. Really popular with the locals.

Great Mexican food and margarita’s! They have a good selection of seafood dishes. While I am allergic to most of them the wife states they are excellent. I have had most if the chicken dishes and they are very flavorful! This is a small family restaurant starting out in a down economy that deserves our local support.
