I love 85C Bakeries. I came to this location with my mom since it is conveniently by family’s house. The first time I came here: My mother has never tried the drinks before and she loves taro so I ordered her the Marble Taro Slush with Boba. The drink comes. Boba is hard, mother is disappointed :(but still likes the drink itself. Second time I came here: I ordered a Marble Taro Slush with Boba for round two. Drink comes out. Girl does not wipe down the cup so I end up grabbing a sticky cup and I guess the cashier didn’t hear me say«with boba» cause I just have a cup of purple but oh well cause boba doesn’t make or break it. We get into the car and drive away and take a sip of the blandest taro slush ever. I guess the girl forgot sugar too. Mother is disappointed once again. :( Hopefully round three is not bad.

I love coffee!!! Other than Starbucks, 85 degree coffee is my second coffee remedy place! It’s convenient, it’s cheaper but with the same good value compare to other descent coffee places. Sometimes, I would add bobba to my coffee(is it wired?) and only 85 degree coffee can do them right!

Great bakery! I love Asian and French bakeries because they don’t try to kill you with diabetes. I do have a particular proclivity for Asian bakeries because they tend have pyrotechnic explosions of tropical fruits in their baked goods. Lines can get long, prices aren’t cheap. But, everything tastes good!

Fresh Bread! Fresh Bread! Fresh Bread! That’s what you hear when you walk in. To the left are tables you can sit on after ordering drinks and some fluffyness. To the right is where you can see the different breads with different pairings and some pastries. The more decorative ones are in a display case in the left side of the venue. And, they look exquisitely delicious. It is a very well run establishment. Customer service is good here. There’s hardly a line because they keep it moving. I’ve seen other staff jump on a register when the line does get long. With so many bakeries in the area and close together it has become challenging and difficult deciding where to go but 85 has proven to be consistent with everything they do. The prices are fair and the food is good. Will one be coming to Hawaii soon? I think it’s just a matter of time. Don’t you?

Sweet aroma + fresh baked bread+ kind manager= happy tummy This is a cute little Asian bakery that has some interesting and delicious choices to say the least. Like octopus dyed bread that taste like garlic YUPOCTOPUS! Ha ha tripped me out but it’s not bad(ha ha) It can get pretty packed with lines forming outside. But, once your inside, grab some tongs and start choosing some bread ha ha… There are so many different types to chose from so, take your time an enjoy. Its very clean and well maintain with tons of workers. The bakers come out constantly with freshly baked bread an announcing it by yelling«FRESHBREAD» so, put in some earplugs and grab some bread! ha ha Now, I came here because, I was told they make pineapple bread better than China towns Phoenix bakery in Los Angeles and sorry to say, that’s a lie. The Phoenix bakery pineapple bread has real chunks of pineapple in it. 85c pineapple bread is weak with no pineapple admittedly, sad to say, I was very disappointed! However, the manager was walking around outside where I was eating and noticed my bread was torn apart an, I had unhappy. face! She stopped an asked if I liked the bread an, I told her no an, I explained the story above and she said she would get me a bread that would blow my mind so, I said ok.(I was Thinking octopus bread) lol She brought me some Raisin Milk butter bread an it was delicious! Trip me out because, it was. almost as sweet as me… The bread was covered in powdered sugar, the dough was fluffy, soft and slightly sweet and melted in my mouth. The combination of raisins and the gooey inside reminded me of tapioca pudding an, Asian milk bread. It was really good an, a must try. One of thee best sweet breads I have ever had hands. down! I went from a sad fatty to a happy fatso So, maybe they don’t have pineapple bread however, they have plenty of other yummy treats to rot ones teeth. ha ha It always helps to have someone help you out(a woman) when one is lost. I will be back!

This OG85 degrees still consistently delivers. They continue to come up with new breads, some hits and misses, but I can’t complain about variety. The berry tales and egg tarts are my favorites, and I recently tried the new coffee bread(filled with cream and topped with chocolate chips) that was pretty dang good! Good mixture of flavors. For your drinks, the 85 coffee and grapefruit tea drinks are pretty good go-to drinks. Their full-sized cakes are great for events or birthdays and not too badly priced. It gets pretty crowded a lot of times but it’s worth it for one of the best bakery chains around the 626. Keep your ears perked up for when they yell«fresh bread!»

Came in with my girlfriend to buy some egg tart, however, the egg tarts on display were over cooked and the center of the egg tart is all dried. So I asked the middle aged Chinese lady if they plan to remake the overcomes and dried up egg tart. Here is the lady’s response. «If you buy all the dried up egg tarts, then we will make more. We always sell egg tarts with this dried up over cooked quality.» After her explanation, I believe I will never buy anything from 85C in the future. Conclusion: poor customer service, terrible product quality, and failure to recognize customer concerns

It was great when it first opened. 2 – 3 years later, now it is just another typical Asian bakery with horrible customers service. There were two incidents today: 1. I picked a pastry in the middle of the tray with the WHITETONG because it looked better. A middle-age Asian lady(40 – 45 old) came over and said I touched the front pastries and was not happy. I said I didn’t, but she took the front pastries and threw them anyway. Walking around I found something else instead and decided to put the first pastry back. With the WHITETONG I placed the pastry back to it’s original slot. None of my fingers or other body parts touched the pastry. The same grumpy-face old lady came over again accusing me for touching the pastry with my hands and threw away in the kitchen the pastry I just put back. I opened the kitchen door and said this was a horrible customer experience. The lady stepped out the kitchen and said I cannot put back the pastries after they have been taken out. 2. While occupied with the pastry-nazi, a male worker was pushing his way out from the kitchen with a stack of white trays. With intention he was pushing me from the back with the trays in the crowded area where the pastries are located. When confronted with his behavior, the white Caucasian on steroid, said he already excused himself from the kitchen exit. Wtf? That doesn’t mean he can push people with the trays afterwards. My blood started to boil, and instead of calling the manager to calm me down this prick pushed me away with the trays and told me to leave the premise. I always blame the management. Poor training and hiring the wrong people for the job.(The cameras never lie 5÷14÷169:45am) I left my pastries and walked out. This store used to be my one-stop-shop for pastries and cakes for work, home, and bday events. Today, was my last time to all 85 degree bakeries.

I’ve been coming here since it first opened. It has declined in quality and service for the past three years. And today I had my worst experience. Not only has the variety of breads and pastries declined, but the quality is on the decline too. The breads aren’t as fresh and are often cold and hard. Their popular brioche loaves used to be high turnover so you’d often get hot and fresh loaves. But now it’s just not fresh. What really got me today was the cakes. I usually order individual slices of various kinds to get a variety. Today was the first time they decided to cram multiple slices into the small individual boxes. Not only is that being cheap on their part but what makes me upset is that they didn’t even ask me if that’s okay. I suppose they can do this now since the cakes have gotten smaller or at least the individual slices have. Seriously question yourself if you want to come here.

«FRESHBREAAAAAD!» is all you ever want to hear when you walk into an 85. This location has a good variety of bread, but if you’re looking for a specific kind, I would call and ask if they have it out. The bread and pastries are always good, haven’t had a bad run in yet. Haven’t tried any of their drinks, but heard they’re not bad as well.(I really want to try the Taro Latte). The bakery itself is bigger than the other locations I’ve been to, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It does seem to get busy on the weekends in the afternoon, so I would try avoiding that time. Other than that, the lines aren’t long, and they move quickly. Prices are a little steep compared to the other bakeries around, so I don’t come to 85 unless I’m in the area. Parking can be a bit hard to find closer to the bakery since there are some popular stores in the area, but it’s a huge lot, so if you don’t mind walking a bit, parking is easy.

Heaven. In a bun. On a bun. Under a bun. Wrapped around a bun. There is NOTHING that can prepare you for this experience if you haven’t tried it yet. Sweet or savory = perfection. Don’t walk — run. Get here. Seriously…

I’ve been to this 85 degrees before, especially when it first opened and I recently came back here since I was in the area. I didn’t get their bread, but I did get their Sea Salt Mountain Green Tea. I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pretty surprised at how strong the tea flavor was! Also, with the half sugar, the drink was perfect. There wasn’t as much sea salt as I liked in the drink, but the cream to tea ratio was pretty good. Also, the staff here was pretty nice and the place was clean too. Not much to complain about. Also for those of you wondering the difference between Mountain Green Tea and Jasmine Green Tea, Mountain is more earthy and strong, whereas the Jasmine is more floral. So if you like your green teas strong, I’d suggest getting the Mountain Green Tea!

We came here after our hike Saturday morning and to our surprise no wait. Scored! They’re bread selections here were better than the other locations I’ve been to. I wish all locations would carry the same varieties.

My favorite Asian bakery in Rowland Heights by far. It has pretty much everything! My top faves include: mochi egg tart, taro bread, squid ink bread, sea salt coffee, and the green milk tea. The other breads are solid as well. Usually moist, soft, and lightly sweetened. The quality I feel trumps other bakeries like Kee Wah or JJ’s. The cakes are also reasonably priced(about $ 30) and delicious as well. Of all the ones I’ve tried, Mango Crème brûlée takes the cake ;) The only thing that annoys me about this place is the wait. Also, self control is needed here since you can easily get carried away loading all those yummy good-lookin’ breads staring at you through the glass… and onto your white tray.

Fresh Bread! Oh how times have changed, this place used to be a spectacle every weekend morning, now its dead! Franchising kills the hype! Great place for a quick snack, a full brunch, dessert, and/or tasty drink. I’ve tried the taro bread, sea salt iced coffee, and many random pastries and desserts. Everything is pretty good, cheap, and affordable. Sad they do not make the Blueberry Cheesecake anymore. This was one of my favorite all time desserts. Calamari Stick — $ 1 — Bread was made with squid ink which makes it taste like the sea and adds a nice black color. The cheese inside was small and a little weird for me but I liked the bread flavor. Cheese Dog — $ 1.60 — The herbs add a nice twice to the normal hot dog bun you find at all chinese bakeries. Hawaiian Chicken — $ 2.50 — Delicious hawaiian pizza with chicken. Could have used a little more sauce and cheese but it was really good.

Honestly I was a bit disappointed in their sea of coffee. It just wasn’t as good as the one I had in Irvine and the price seems to be a tad bit more expensive than the Irvine one, or maybe it’s because I haven’t been there in a year. But in terms of their bread their taro bread seems to be plentiful here, something was greatly lacking in the Irvine branch. I did not try any of their bread so I could not really comment on the bread itself, but I was alright with my drink but it didn’t have that wow factor I normally get from drinking sea salt coffee or green tea from an 85 bakery facility. The wait for this place is not that long though, which is nice. I came on a weekday around dinner time and found that it wasn’t that packed.

While I prefer the Chino Hills location in terms of parking and seating, this 85 Degrees still has the best selection of sinfully delicious baked goods and desserts. They just seem to have a faster rate of turnover here so you’ll constantly hear the soothing sounds of servers announcing«fresh bread.» I’m a fan of the calamari stick and I’ve found that other locations don’t have it as often as this one. The staff here also know how to make the perfect iced sea salt coffee to wash down all of that sweetness. I like that they added a long counter at the front so you can put your tray down while in line to pay. Judging by the heavily stacked trays of goodies, it seems everyone is grateful for the chance to rest their arms. Like all of the other 85 Degrees I’ve been to, this bakery is highly recommended.

Best bakery in town based on price, product, and people. I’ve been a loyal customer ever since they opened. I go out of my way to make a stop every time I’m home. Everything they churn out is consistently delicious and fresh. You can leave with a box of bread and barely crack $ 10. Breads: Tuna Danish Guava and Cream Cheese Danish Chocolate & Walnut Bread Mocha Bread Mochi Egg Tart Dranks: I highly recommend the Iced Coffee w/Sea Salt. Even my friends who don’t drink coffee enjoyed this! This place is consistently crackin and for good reason!

Much love to 85 degrees! This is a great spot to get some much-needed Asian baked goods. Their name derives from their belief that coffee is best at 85 degrees Celsius. But I think they’ve become much more popular with their fresh bread and other bakery items than their drinks. There’s over 60 kinds of breads and pastries here. Brioche, chiffon cake, marbled taro buns, egg tarts, fruit tarts, sponge cakes, matcha red bean rolls, cheese bread, chocolate bread, and more! And these are just some of the bakery items you can pick up. There’s also a glass case filled with desserts like mousse cakes and tiramisu. Of course, you can also order drinks like lattes and bubble tea. We got a bunch of items to take back with us to the East Coast. Almond custard buns, matcha red bean rolls, vanilla chiffon cake just to name a few. Everything’s best within a few days of purchasing.

This is a nice bakery with many different items. There are traditional cakes and pastries as well as numerous Asian style goodies. If you want to try some Asian delights, grab a tray and tongs, then choose your individual goodies from the many offerings. Once you are finished choosing, stand in line to pay. My favorite was the taro root bread. It was still warm from the oven, soft, with a sweet taro center. Prices range from about $ 1.20 — $ 3.00 for each pastry or bread. They also have a variety of drinks from which to choose. parking — free lot
