I had no idea what I was ordering, but it all looked so yummy I knew I just had to have it. I ordered a pastry filled with cheese, my friend ordered the same but with meat inside. These little pastry divas were sexier than Beyonce in a swimsuit. We also had some kind of flakey pastry with fruit. Still I don’t know what they were called, but they were rock star awesome.

I frequently eat breakfast there on the weekends. My favorites are the empanadas, filled with chicken and potatoes, their made fresh and are a decent size. The Colombian bread is delicious both the one with cheese or no cheese. Buñuelos are tasty as well as the pan de bonos. The ladies behind the counter are lovely people who have great customer service! This bakery is fantastic!

I stop by every Saturday morning, best bakery in the area hands down. Their cheese breads and empanadas are amazing especially the chicken ones. Also try there egg arepa.

Went here today for the first time since it was close to home. I ordered 5 empanadas, 2 pan de bonos, 1 chorizo, and one croissant with cheese. Came out to 10.50 which isn’t too bad. Here is where the problem came in. One, they only had chicken empanadas available so I decided to take it. The outside layer was super thick and the filling was full of more corn meal and lots of potato. very tiny bit of chicken! The pan de bonos were super hard and dry. The chorizo was full of oil so every time I took a bit of it, it splashed oil every where hitting the person across of me on their clothes. Better Colombian bakeries around the area.

Lovely service at this place. The ladies behind the counter are polite and quick with orders! I always get their coffee and a little pastry on the side. I just tried the guava and cheese pastry and I loved it! Wish I got more!

I’ve been coming here for years. The baked bread is great and fresh. Never had a problem with the service. It is very fast paced so be prepared to know what you are ordering as the lines get long. If you need time I’d suggest moving to the front to see what they have prior to standing on line only to hold it up during your«selection process». If you do that then you’ll be «that guy» nobody likes. Also, they offer a service where you can pre-order the stuff they sell and pick up at a later day. Cons: They only take cash. I’m not sure why they don’t just bite the bullet, pay the fees and start accepting cards. I’m sure people would buy more than they could eat if they accepted cards making the store even more money.

Hello everyone I just went to the bakery today to buy some pan de Bono and some empanadas for myself and the children. I got the stuff home and cut the pan de bono into three pieces, gave them two and I bit into the third, when I looked down at the bread I saw a black object, looked closely and it is a rusty nail a small one, I went to the store to speak with the owner and his answer was he could not come to the store, I called Hackensack PD and make a formal complaint. I am writing this so that everyone is aware of the danger.

You can’t go wrong with this place for a decent breakfast. A cup of coffee and a breakfast pastry will run you Less than just a coffee by itself at any Starbucks or Dunkin donuts. if you’re into Spanish pastries with a side of Columbian coffee then this is the place for you. they also do lunch as well but I’ve never tried it before.

So much value at this bakery. It’s so packed every time I stop by but today was a street fair so there were only a dozen people(which was a lot for the space) in there as opposed to the usual 30. My husband was able to get a puffy ball pastry(maybe potato exterior) with beef, rice and seasonings inside. Only $ 1. He said it was unbelievable! He then ran back inside and got a long rectangular pasty with beef inside. That too was delicious and $ 1. Neither was overly greasy and both were satisfying and perfect in flavor. The other bakeries down the street have pastries that drip oil. These pastries did not drip oil as you ate them. I would’ve taken a photo but he inhaled both. We ended up skipping food booths at the fair because everything was pricy compared to the products at this bakery.

I love this little bakery! The papas de rellenas are the best! The potatoes are stuffed with a mixture of rice and beef and with their spicy salsa it’s an awesome mid day snack or breakfast. Probably breakfast since it gets sold out before 10. Their stuffed yuca and empanada are also really good and so are the guava and cheese pastries. They are so good I come by for a fix whenever I’m in Jersey.

You have to try their $ 1 pan de queso!!! Que ricooooo!!! This is just as good as my favorite Ecuadorian bread made of yuca and cheese called pan de almidon! The chewy texture and the slightly sweet and cheesy flavor is soooo addictive! This bread alone deserves 4 stars! Their famous papa rellena is still my favorite but if it’s sold out(most likely) I recommend the fried yuca, which is another delicious unhealthy food. Make sure you ask for the hot sauce, it tastes way better with it! UPDATE12÷6÷09: You have to come here really early before 10am if you wanna buy Pan de Queso and Papa Rellena. I came here today at 12pm and they were all sold out again…*sigh*
