I went to Sonia Nails for a pedicure and also got a design on my two ring fingers for five dollars. The second time I came in for the same, a pedicure and a design on two ring fingers for five dollars, they charged me double! They claim that since I did not get a manicure, it was five dollars each instead of two designs for five. Considering they remembered my name you would think they would remember the price. I even tried to speak to the owner who refused to even look up at me. They claimed that the person made a mistake last time. When I told the owner Sonia is it worth five dollars to lose a customer she said nothing! This business is very unprofessional and rude! They definitely lost me as a customer. I now go to Hair Studio 251 on 251 Main St., Hackensack, NJ. They are great and are a full-service spa! How rude Sonia!

This salon has changed ownership many, many times. I have to say, the new owner, Juliet is very different than the previous owners. She had an established nail salon in Little Ferry and just moved her business. Her staff is loyal and moved with her. This is not just a new business starting out. I, personally, have followed Linda for the past 13 years. Martha, also is an excellent manicurist but she gives the most amazing 10 minute neck/back massage. All the woman take pride in their work. I highly recommend making an appointment, but walk-ins are always welcome. Parking is behind the salon, that can be tricky, but I’ve always found a spot. In all honesty, it’s sad that the other reviews are on here and cannot be changed when new ownership comes in. Languages spoken, Korean, Spanish, English.

New Management = still bad! DONOTGOHERE I thought I’d support the local business and have some trust in them. BUT, the nail staff was slow and felt inexperienced. It took her over an hour to do a simple pedicure. I originally had asked for the mani/pedi special but because she took so long I had to only get a pedicure. The charge for the pedicure($ 17) was outrageous considering the poor service and fact that I had asked for both mani and pedi which was listed at $ 21. My nail tech was easily distracted during my pedicure, looking around the room and watching tv. I asked if there was a way to have two techs working on me so that it would be faster, volunteering to tip for both techs, etc. however they did not understand my request. I left a very unhappy costumer with only«okay» nails.
