Slow stylists. Quoted a 40 minute wait with two people in front of me, waited an 1:20 and just left as more people were being called in front of me. Worst place ever. Would not recommend.

Okay if you’re desperate, but I’ve never had any of three stylists give me an attractive haircut. I wouldn’t waste anymore time here. Also had my hair dyed here once. It came out too dark. Doesn’t pay to be thrifty with your hair, unless your hair is perhaps, easy to style. They are very quick, and don’t seem to care about your hair type or helping you make a choice. They certainly take the time to push you to buy products. Save your money, and get a good haircut less often.

I swore I would never return to Supercuts after an incident a few years back, but I really needed a fast haircut today, and I simply wanted an inch taken off of my long hair. I told the stylist to follow the same cut that I have, but to take an inch off and absolutely NOMORE. I even told her that last time I never returned b/c someone cut my hair 3 inches instead of 1.(I was very clear about one inch only). She proceeds to give me layers all the way around my hair which was not there before. She cuts my hair at least 2 – 3 inches. My cut looks like Jennifer Aniston in friends from the 90’s. I’m completely horrified and hate the short hair. This will take months to grow back, and in the mean time I feel terrible about the way I look. She was extremely rude and stated that she was«following what I had before»(I had it all one length in the back), and that it’s not her fault that my hair(straight, long) is hard to follow. She proceeded to yell at me and even made her co-worker process the credit card after she stormed away. The entire time I stayed calm and friendly and simply asked her to stop cutting short layers. You get what you pay for. I’m definitely never, ever returning. Stay far, far away!

This place surprised me, I usually try to avoid mass barber chains but this place is really close to my apartment. I was hesitant at first because there were only female stylists there but they can all cut men’s hair. The one bad thing is that this place gets super busy, all the time. Unless you come in at an odd hour like 2pm on a Tuesday. You’ll want to either call ahead and reserve a time or download the SuperCuts app and reserve a time. If you don’t, as a walk-in, you will most likely find yourself waiting at least 40 mins.

I can’t speak for men’s haircuts. But boy do they know their stuff for women. They can take my shaggy ‘do and turn it into something elegant in no time. These girls are artists with clippers. They’re sweet, quick, and accurate. I go in there with a vague idea and they make it happen beautifully

Get my haircut here once a month. Always do a nice job on a male trim. Sometimes have to wait a bit, never more than 20 minute wait. Can avoid wait with a call ahead.

These people have no clue how to do male haircuts. Correction: they know how to do one style of male haircuts. Short on the sides and short on the top, and totally forget about evening the side burns. I had my appointment for 5:15 and they were only about 5 minutes behind, which is perfectly fine. The wait time was not the issue here. I asked the Eastern European sounding woman(maybe polish?), that cut my hair, specifically for a light trim. I said I did not want it too short. I wear my hair on the longer side(kind of messy), and that was obvious by how it was styled pre-haircut. The«stylist» proceeded to chop all my hair off, and now I’m left with a haircut like one I might have gotten in grade school from my dads barber. The funny thing is the Eastern European woman and the only guy«stylist» in the salon, who was cutting another guy’s hair behind me, were going off about how they dread doing male haircuts, because the margin for error is much greater and the males should proceed at their own risk. Throughout the conversation, I guess they both failed to realize that both of their appointments were actually males. Because I wear glasses, and my vision is awful, I had to take my glasses off and could not see how much hair was coming off. This experience was the worst I’ve ever had at a hair salon. I guess that’s why I’ve never gone to supercuts before and never will regardless of how desperate I am for a haircut. I’m better off trying to do it myself.

TL;DR — Horrible customer service, extremely inaccurate wait times. Really loud music that does not make the waiting environment pleasant. This Supercuts is why I will never goto one again. The ridiculously loud club music doesn’t help(and will become relevant in the review) I called ahead on a Saturday morning to find out the wait time for a simple haircut. I’m told 15 – 20 minutes. I say ok, and give them my name and number. I show up within the 15 – 20 minute timeframe and I’m told it will be another 15 – 20 minutes. A little annoyed I sit down and wait(what is the point of a call ahead and to put your name down if you have to wait double the time you are told originally). I keep waiting, now 30 minutes past. Fine, it’s busy, there’s a lot of people in line. Another 30 minutes pass. I have quite a few errands to do still for the day so annoyed now I ask why it’s been an hour since I originally called in. The one woman who seems to be working the counter most of the time I was there says she called my name. I never heard it, they voided me out of the list completely. Now, i can understand why they would do this but my arguments against this reasoning is as follows: 1) You have one person working the counter area who cannot speak over a slightly muffled whisper. She is only calling the name out once(I heard other people’s names while I was there, even though it was barely audible). This is while sitting in the seat closest to the counter. 2) You also have people sitting in the back area past the counter and the work area. Saying a name once at such a low volume that I could barely hear you seated directly in front of you is rather ridiculous, especially when you have split seating across the entire shop. 3) Add to the fact that the music is awful Z100 type pop music, it is way too loud when sitting there. After I brought up the fact to take me off their waiting list(that I promptly found out they removed me anyhow), they offer nothing. They don’t try to ask me to patiently wait, they don’t offer to move me back up to the list, they don’t try to do anything to even retain me as a customer. I’ve worked in customer service positions for many years when I was younger, and if I ever treated a customer how I was treated, I’d be severely punished or fired. Completely unacceptable and shows how badly the employees here are trained. Normally one incident wouldn’t make me write such a long review, but the past few times I’ve been there they have been horribly inaccurate about the wait times as well. Overall, i recommend not going here for a «quick» haircut/trim.

Fast appointment –called 30 minutes before arriving. For a simple supercut 14 $ is really ok.

Say what you will about Supercuts, but I am a huge fan. I’ve been frequenting this salon for the past 4 years and I have never, ever had a bad experience. The stylists who work here are extremely nice and very talented. I love my long hair, and not once in my years of patronage has anyone gone scissor-happy on me, nor given me wacked-out layers or anything of the sort. I have friends and relatives who regularly spend $ 80 and up for haircuts. Supercuts hooks me up with a wash and beautiful cut for $ 20. People ask me all the time where I go to get my hair cut, and they’re always shocked when I tell them«Supercuts». I made believers out of several naysayers over the years. You don’t need to make an appointment(walk-ins are very welcome), however, the salon can get a little busy on the weekends. The solution is to call about 15 minutes before you plan to arrive and ask them to place you on the list. They’re more than happy to do so, and you won’t have to wait when you arrive. No pretentious attitudes and no hardcore up-selling of products It’s always a pleasure to go. Say what you will about Supercuts, but I won’t go anyplace else for my hair!
