Ed’s Health Foods

I used to live near Ed’s and was a regular customer. Now I stop whenever I get a chance. Ed & his parents are very nice people. I mainly buy Worthington vegetarian food-​Ed is one of the few who still keep it in stock. Ed’s dad also suggested Bragg’s which I’d never used before, but now is a go to for me. I miss seeing Ed’s parents-​they remind me of being a kid in a small town, where folks were kinder.

In 2007, I had a terrible sinus infections and was having severe allergic reactions to many foods and drinks. I went to the Dr. but the medication they prescribed gave me the worst hives I have ever had. My sister was working with Ed at that time to learn natural remedies for healing Barrett’s Esophagus and enduring Fibromyalgia, so she suggested I meet with Ed. I am very glad I did!
Ed suggested Metagenics UltraClear Plus PH, Advaclear, and a Comprehensive Elimination Diet. It was incredible. Although the diet took a lot of discipline, the results were wonderful. My sinus infection cleared up, I no longer got hives, and i stopped having such severe reactions to food and beverages. At that time, I worked at Bloomingdale’s and all of my coworkers asked what diet I was on because I looked slim but healthy and my hair, nails, and skin looked fantastic.
Ed is extremely knowledgeable. Just go talk to him! Shopping in the store isn’t scratching the surface of what Ed’s Health Foods has to offer.

I always try to patronize the small local businesses. Small little health store packed with alot of items. However the older lady follows you around like a little security guard, she seems pleasant but the older gentleman was not so friendly. The shelves are dusty. Didn’t realize when I got home the toothpaste I purchased was expired!
