Frank’s Trattoria

I really like this place. I have tried many diff pizzas– all very good. Their salads are fresh and their dinners are generous portions. It’s def enough to split with someone :) they have fast service and have a very friendly wait staff. Mozz sticks are def one of my favs!

I usually like Frank’s but when I went there my pizza lacked flavor. I had to get up and catch the waitress for my bill because she didn’t return to my table.

There is nothing worse then walking into a restaurant and every waitress has their hair down and not in a pony tail or tied back. Not to mention I have returned food with hair in it before and said something!

Just moved to the area and Did not enjoy the pizza at all. Bought several different slices and wasn’t a fan. Will continue to find a better Italian place around the area.

Frank’s is a fantastic little pizza joint with a variety of pizza, cheese steaks and everything you would expect in this type of place. The online ordering is really what brings me here… it quick, easy and accurate. You walk in, the order is ready and you are out the door. We order from here about once a week, and it doesn’t disappoint.

I just had the most incredible Alfredo I have ever had. It was a stuffed macaroni Alfredo special. With a salad, fresh-​baked bread, and fried ice cream for dessert, it was an excellent meal. The wife had chicken marsala and was not disappointed, either.
Excellent service, too.
All for $ 33. I am hoping the special makes it to the regular menu!

My go to pizza place in Hackettstown. My friends and I describe this pizza as the perfect party pizza or a great lunch after a night of drinking. The customer service here is pretty good. The waiters and waitresses are really nice, even the delivery people are nice and people who you can have a normal conversation with. As for the owners they aren’t the nicest people from my experience.
Anyway for the pizza it is greasy and in no way healthy for you but it’s good. My favorites are the buffalo chicken pizza, and the barbecue chicken pizza. Both pizzas have big pieces of chicken which is a must for any pizza with chicken. The buffalo is spicy with the buffalo wing sauce and a little bit of blue cheese dressing or ranch you can choose and the cheese goes great with it. The barbecue using barbecue sauce instead of regular pizza sauce. Both pizzas a are filling and you will have leftovers which at times warmed up pizza is better in my opinion.
So when it comes to pizza in Hackettstown stop at Franks and if you want to try other food please write a review I would love to know how their other food is. Thanks!

Just moved into the area and looking for a good slice. Came here because it’s the closest. Very nice place, very friendly staff. The pizza was not that good. Very bland, doughy crust. Same for the sauce and the cheese seemed like the kind you get pre– shredded from the supermarket. A couple of recommendations: not so much water in the dough and a little fresh basil and olive oil in the sauce would do nicely.

Great place for food but the most unprofessional and lack of integrity that could have ever happened, happened at this place tonight (2÷7÷15). My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner tonight. Everything was going well up until we went up to pay for our check. The guy at the register purposely over charged us after our waitress had already given us the check at a set price. We pointed it out to him that we had caught exactly what he was trying to do, and he had absolutely nothing to say. Make sure next time you eat at this place that you have eyes like a hawk like my boyfriend does. I will never eat here again and I’ll make sure to let everyone I know, know of what happened here tonight.

We stopped here on a Sunday, mid-​afternoon, starving and looking for a nice lunch, as recommended by Unilocal.I’m sorry to say we were very unimpressed with Frank’s Trattoria. This was one of the few times Unilocal has led me wrong. For starters, the place was not clean, smudge marks on the glass door and on the front window glass of the store. Also, there was not a really clean table in the place, plus the floor was filthy. Normally, this is enough to make me turn around and leave, but we were starving and so we decided to give it a chance.
There was only one waitress working, and although she was sweet, this can’t make up for the fact that the food was really lacking. Salad was borderline limp, dressing was bottled, pasta seemed like what you would get in a school cafeteria. The calzone we also ordered was the better choice. The crust had a pleasant homemade crispiness, but the filling was mostly mozzarella, not too much ricotta, which made it very stringy and difficult to eat.
I’m sorry to say I can’t recommend this place, and I would definitely eat elsewhere next time I’m in the neighborhood.

Decent Pizza. Nothing to write home about.

Their real pizzeria style plain cheese pizza is so good to eat. And what’s even better is the fact that they’re always running coupons in the monthly ValuPaks for $ 1 off to go pizza take outs! We also are in twice and they’re very family friendly. The location is also great because there are other restaurants, QuikChek, liquor store and laundromat right next door!

Love this place! Have been coming here for almost 10 years even after moving away from the area. Best grilled chicken Cesar salad I’ve ever had! Everything on the menu is great. Service is great. Definately recommend this place!

I have been there at least 3 or 4 times in the past 2 years… food and service is always consistent. Even on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Food is always hot, great selection of pizza’s…my favorite is their honey mustard chicken pizza. Writing this review is making me want to go back there real soon… Prices are average, all in all its one of the better Pizzeria’s in the area.

Best pizza in Hackettstown, by far.

Came here for a bite to eat on my way home from a long morning of shooting. Figured this would be like any other pizza place around with generic pizza.
When looking at the menu there was a pretty large selection of pies and slices to choose from. I ended up getting a Whtie slice and a buffilo chicken slice.
The white slice was really good, the roccotta they use made it very creammy. It just has a really good flavor normal white slices dont have. The buffilo slice was also really good. It didnt stand out as much as the white slice but it was cooked well and not runny like some places make them.
Overall, i think i would definatly stop back if i was in the area.

Frank’s is our number one choice in Hackettstown. We love their amazing pizza almost as much as we love their subs and dinners. Excellent food for sure!

This is a classic pizza joint with tons of options for slices available. Although this is at times a bad thing. I experienced at this establishment, what can only be described as the work of a twisted criminal mind. I tasted what could possibly the most disgusting thing ever crafted by a cook. Tortellini pizza. with white sauce. More cheese than you will ever want or need on a slice of pizza. More butter than you ever want to see on a plate at once. NOVELTY ONLY, DO NO EAT. The white and pepperoni pizzas were wonderful examples of east coast pizza though, and i recommend. Just stay away from that pasta dish on a triangle.
