Huge selection of wing flavors… Over 100! The food has always been very good, they have some excellent specials if you can find out about them. Service has been spotty and not always friendly. Otherwise good local spot.

Service was awful. They were very busy, but she was completely disorganized. Took forever to get menus and even longer to place our order. Waited 30 minutes for the appetizers and then the entrees came out less than one minute later. The entrees were brought by a different sever and when we advised her that we just received our appetizers, her response was«I’ll keep them warm» Wrong answer! Don’t waste your time or money on mediocre food

BESTWINGSEVERRRRRR! After it took us a long while to narrow down which of the 101 flavors we wanted, we decided to go with the Spicy Ranch and the infamous Bang Bang Wings. I don’t normally like my wings drenched in sauce but I’ll forgive it because the wings themselves were OUTSTANDING! Even drenched in the sauce, they remained ever so lightly crispy and yummy. I’m crazy over them! I also had the French Onion Soup. Slightly on the sweet side but that’s probably because they actually caramelized the onions the way they should be. Often, places just sauté their onions for the French Onion Soup. It was yummy nonetheless! HUGE selection of beer! Almost ALL the empty dining room tables weren’t bussed which was sorta a turn-off but I’d read the reviews that said to sit at the bar for faster service so we did. The barmaid was down-to-earth. I’d HIGHLY recommend this place & we’re definitely coming back!

This place has very good wings and a huge variety of them too. The French onion soup and onion rings are is good as well. Marleys is a good place and I recommend it to all!

The wings are great. The cheesesteak is terrific. If reviewing them solely for the food, it would be a 4 – 5 star review. Unfortunately the service is consistently slow. Been here three times and it’s slow every time. These haven’t been busy times. Typically only a few tables worth of people. It must be slow by design. Each simple lunch trip took about two hours from start to finish. This isn’t Europe. Not acceptable. Haven’t been back since my third visit as I don’t have that much time for a meal.

Wings are awesome… big and crispy with lots of flavor a to choose from. Three pile Island nachos are delicious. Tuesday night taco special is also super yummy, have made it a habit to go in for pulled pork tacos on Tues. reason I took off one star is because some of the staff aren’t Always the most friendly

We have been a fan of Marleys since they were given high ratings by the Munchmobile. But it’s unfortunate that we won’t be returning. The service has just gone way downhill. We went last weekend and my husband ordered a burger. Twice it was prepared wrong. The rest of the family was done eating. He was still waiting and it was wrong the second time. Not only didn’t they take it off the bill they didn’t offer us a thing. Our bill was close to $ 80. Not even one of their fancy desserts they push. Once before my son was served raw wings. We gave them another chance. As we left around 8:00 they had already ran out of wings. How does a restaurant that’s known for its wings run out. We will find somewhere else to eat in town. The other restaurants Pan Dan Room and Bea McNalleys will get our business. Their management cares more about their reputation than the management at Marleys.

Good menu selection and prices. From lunch to dinner to dessert, never a bad experience. Recommended while in Hackettstown

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Great menu — lots of choices & such creative sauces for the wings — wow! Ask someone who works there for recommendations for the wings since the menu is overwhelming. We ordered potato skins & empanada’s for ape’s which were good & promptly served. Waiter disappeared for a while — seemed there are two rooms in this place & they have him working both rooms — not good. When ordering wings they come in orders of 10 but you can order 5 with one sauce &5 with different sauce which is what we all did since we couldn’t make up our minds on what to try. Food server comes out with the wings but has no clue who ordered what. He says it’s his first time there. Why would they not write the # of which wing sauce you ordered on the cardboard serving dish or put a stick in the wings identifying what they are. I told him to go back to the kitchen to find out what they were since we obviously ordered certain wings for a reason. The waiter comes out and identifies the wings — great. By the way, we all ordered them well done — they were not. Actually my friend’s wings were served lukewarm — ugh — so she asked to have them re-heated. Meanwhile we are served wings which you know are messy with no extra napkins nor a plate to put the bone on — and this is a place that specializes in wings?! We wound up «bussing» the table ourselves. We placed all dirty plates, etc on the bar by us. We went to the bar to get water refills, extra napkins, and ketchup. My husband had also ordered a med-rare burger that came out well done. The manager stops by so we told him the issues. The waiter comes back and offers a free drink to us or dessert so we took him up on it — nice move. Seems like the place was under-staffed as we learned our waiter was also helping out in the kitchen — hence why we could not find him. The bill came and he comped is as promised so we gave him a good tip. However, I will think twice before going back because of how the evening went.

I was so disappointed with my last visit that I don’t think I will be returning any time soon. My roommate and I decided to drive from Morristown to show our boyfriends one of our favorite wing spots. It was 7:00 on a Sunday, the place was dead, and we were told that they were already out of boneless wings… unfortunately this is the FOURTH time I have been to Marley’s when this has happened. We each put in an order of 10 bone-in wings, and were then told that they only had 2 orders of bone-in wings left. We wound up sharing the garlic parmesan wings, which were not garlic parmesan at all. There was a wad of mozzarella cheese dumped on the top and absolutely no garlic. The other order was chicken cordon bleu, which had zero cheese on it and was covered with another wad of bacon bits(the menu said prosciutto). To supplement the lack of wings that night, we ordered a couple burgers medium rare. Each came out well done… was the kitchen sleeping that night? Why ask for a temperature when you’re not going to cook it properly? I’ve been to Marleys several times before and have never had an experience quite like this. Usually the food takes FOREVER to come out, but what can I expect when everyone is ordering all sorts of wings? But to run out of wings on an early Sunday night is totally unacceptable(especially during football season).

After positive reviews in the newspapers I came to try on Friday at 4pm. Only 2 tables in use and had to wait 45 mins for our hamburgers. Then they tell us they do not have fries. What no fries for a burger? Never had happen to me before so I was offered mash potatoes. The carpet was dirty and I had an annoying fly buzz around the table. The burger had high ratings in the paper review but it was just average. It was huge and asked for it well done but was pink inside. Based on this experience I can not recommend and have no desire to return.

Every time i’ve come here it’s just been a good time, good food, good drinks and within walking distance of my friend’s house that we go out with. Will always return, lots of fun!

People were great here. It has that cheers feeling. There are like a zillion wing flavor choices … I recommend the spicy garlic. Next time I’m in the area I will go back. If y go before 6pm it is metered parking.

Over 100 kinds of wings on the menu! I’ve tried the root beer bbq and the bang bang wings and they are awesome! We also tried the Mac and cheese burger which was ridiculously big and really flavorful! For dessert their namesake«marleys favorite«features a funnel cake covered with a brownie, ice cream, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream! It’s a divey bar scene with cold beer and good food– the kitchen can get slow but we make up for it in beers while we are waiting! Definitely worth checking out!

What do you want: wings, beer, and a decent atmosphere? You’re just in time… I started coming to Marley’s a few years back when they had 111 sauces for wings. At last count there are 134 sauces. Get them breaded, get them naked, get them spicy, get them mild, get them well done, however you want it: they really know what they’re doing with wings. The burgers are great, Reuben is really good, they have $ 5 appetizers at Happy Hour. If you pay attention I’m usually in there at least twice a week…

I can’t see why anyone would choose to eat here. The bartender told me the only two things on the late night menu(11pm on Friday) was«pretty much nachos and quesodillas» so I got nachos. If you like your tortilla chips covered in Pace salsa, guacamole from a can, and jalapeños from a can then this is for you… Why would I pay $ 10 for nachos that arnt made with fresh ingredients I could have gone to taco bell and paid 2⁄3 the price for nachos made with poor ingredients.

When planning to go to Marleys there really is only two reasons to do so. The bar and for the wings. My experiences at Marleys for the bar scene have all been disappointing. Not many people are there and the bar area is quite small. Plus the bar area and really the entire place just looks run down. I can understand why it’s called Marleys Gotham grill because it looks like the city of Gotham just dark and beat down. Now for the reason to go to Marleys, the wings. I can argue that they are the best wings I have ever had. They only serve giant wings and just 12 is enough to fill me. I recommend on going on Monday which is wing night and wings are 60 cents a piece. My favorite ones are the garlic parmesan, Honey Barbecue and the Greek wings. They have 131 flavor of wings so to say they have plenty of choices is an understatement. The bar could really use some improvements and if they did they would be able to compete with McNallys. But when it comes to wings Marleys is the place to go.

Good for the local crowd. If I lived nearby it would be my local watering hole. I love a good dive bar when the food is stellar, but wasn’t thrilled by any means. They have something like 200 different flavored wings and we got Thai something and my first bite set the tone… bit into deep fried, crispy, tasteless batter… GROSS! While the sauce was good, the quality of their specialty was less then good. Also had a big burger menu. I got The Mexican, and wasn’t remotely interested in it! I”m a big eater with a HUGE appetite and came hungry and left hungry because I didn’t want to eat what was given to me. So as I said, a good place to meet up with the locals and throw back a few cold ones, but nothing more.

My husband came here on his own, and raved about the wings so we went back together later on in the week. Maybe I didn’t order the right ones, or he hyped it up too much, but I found it just OK. The wings weren’t bad, they are pretty good wings, but I wouldn’t make the trek there just for wings. The seats we sat in were pretty gross. The booth seats were so uncomfortable and I was afraid I might fall through the cushion. lol. THe service was also subpar. I had to go find our waiter to get refill and our check. Personally, I’d rather go to BWW. The wings are just as good, and the environment is more fun.
