Ruby Tuesday

We live local and decided to retry this restaurant because we had a coupon. We both had the salad bar, which was great. Our meals were cooked well and tasted great. We had a new waiter but he did a good job. Maybe they have taken the other comments regarding service to heart because we had no problem at all and will be back. The rum punch drink was excellent too.

Visited this location a few times with mixed to poor reviews. I can honestly say, I don’t know how they manage to attract any business at all. Our last visit, my wife and I were seated right by the salad bar by a window. We were told someone would be with us in a moment. This was around 4pm on a Thursday, not very busy. We sat for 16 minutes, and then decided to leave because no one came to our table. We called the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager, a man with a Spanish accent answered. We explained what happened, and he said, «I will talk with my staff but I don’t know what you want me to do about it.» We dine out 3 to 4 times a week. We will no longer visit and Ruby Tuesday locations. The Applebee’s staff down the street is always nice and attentive.

I don’t understand how this place is still in business. Never ever ever have we had a good experience here, yet when you tell the staff and the managers, no one seems to care. They run out of food, serve cold food, and majority of the time the servers are inexperienced and horrible to the extent of a waitress telling us she would put alcohol in a to go cup. The place would be shut down if corporate really knew how bad this place was. Maybe one day our hometown Ruby Tuesday will be up to par, until then steer clear.

We visited this location after a long day at the land of make believe!
The last time I ate at a Ruby Tuesday was probably 2004. And i’m glad we came here,
they have completely re-​vamped the menu!
We had no wait. Got seated immediately. Our sever Brandy was nice. She did a good job handling such a big party.
Everyone enjoyed their food. I ordered the Hickory Bourbon Salmon and it was good. I had a taste of my nieces food; Steak, baked mac n chz and loaded mash and it actually tasted really good! I was surprised!
Overall, a good family dinner from a chain restaurant that didn’t break the bank!

Food was timely, not rushed. Steve was a good waiter as has been Will on previous visits. Enjoyable and reasonablely priced.

We had a server named Will and he was awesome! Food was great and served in a timely manner! Definitely ask for the salad bar cause is great! Highly recommended ask for Will!

Not sure why I keep going here. The service sucks. Everytime I go the service sucks. What is the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results? Well, i can tell you no matter how many times I go there I am suprised how much the service sucks. I think I should just stop. I will say, the food is pretty good. Love the salad bar. Did I mention the service sucks?

Service is terrible. I am sure they have good food but you can’t catch the attention of a waiter to even taste it. No one will make eye contact for fear u may need something. My daughter was choking and needed some water and the waiter said he was too busy to get her some water while we waited 20 minutes for service. We got up and left and got a bottle of water from the car. They should just close as they must hate customers.

Ruby Tuesday is one of the only decent restaurants in this rural area. I like coming here for the salad bar and the steaks. If you order an entrée that requires extra time it’s not so bad since you have the salad bar to get started with immediatly. All of the food is classic american choices like steaks, chicken, fish, and burgers which is nice and simple. I

Can I give a negative review? I really really wish I could.
There’s not that many food options in this area so my friend and I decided to stop here on a Friday night. I’m Asian. My friend is black.
We walked in. Nobody greeted us. Okay, fine cool. We were going to eat at the bar anyways.
So we walk to the bar. Sat down. Nobody gave us a menu. Nobody glanced at us. There were about 6 workers in the bar area alone, plus what looked like a manager and yet no one gave us a glance. We kind of looked at each other. My friend told me she wasn’t comfortable (she didn’t see any other non-​white people). I told her to wait a few more minutes to see if anyone acknowledged us.
We waited about 15 more minutes. NO ONE MADE EYE CONTACT. Were we invisible? I finally sighed and reached over into the bar to grab a menu. The bartender looked at me, then looked away. She then went to help the couple who sat down next to us. Without sparing us another glance.
I hate being the type of person to yell ‘racist’ but what else am I to think when I walk into an establishment and get completely ignored, like they were playing a game of, «Let’s not make eye contact with the foreigners». We were there for a total of 20 minutes without even being acknowledged. At the end of the 20 minutes my friend was begging me to leave.
What a disappointment.

I arrived at this Ruby Tuesday one night, on my way home from Stroudsburg. I intended to use a birthday coupon and this location was easy to get to since I knew how to get around Hackettstown.
I thought the service was better than average for Ruby Tuesday. The greeter noticed that I was going to read and brought me to a table with better lighting. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and told me right away how to add the salad bar option to my birthday burger. One good thing about Ruby Tuesday is you can get started on the salad bar right away so it’s not so bad if the food takes more than a few minutes in preparation.
I loved the salad bar. I had all the veggies and also a big helping of grapes. My order was the blackened fish burger and I thought that was pretty good, although, as always, I was really there for the salad bar. If you don’t have a coupon, try the Ruby Minis Combo with salad bar. That would seem to be the cheapest option that gets you both burger/​fries and salad.
