Clams were small but melted in our mouths. Excellent King Crab at a great price. Friendly and prompt service. Will be back with friends.

Went for dinner this past week. The place was packed. Service was extremely friendly but it took a very long time for a food to come out. Appetizer was great (calamari); burgers and fries were honestly just okay. All in all, if your gonna go… get the seafood and skip the rest.

This wasn’t my first time here, but it was my first time ordering an entire meal. The food came out SO fast, but I felt like we had enough time between courses. We had to salt our own butter, but other than that everything was fantastic. The seafood was so fresh, its almost amazing how cheap the prices are for the amount you get. Service was friendly; extra napkins on the table from the get-​go would have been aswesome. I will definitely be back for dinner sooner, rather than later!

Best kept secret in town!
It was our first time here. We walked into a fire lit with good music playing (not too loud) and sports games on. The bar was full so our party of four decided to get a table. The restaurant is spacious with a cross between a sports bar and a country bar feel. (Not too loud, not too quiet, lively) The ambulance definitely gets an A+
We were seated fast. The staff was friendly (owner and manager even introduced theirselves at some point during our dinner) and the staff continuously checked in on us to see if we needed more drinks or anything. Our drinks came out fast, they make great drinks here! Our dinner came out in a timely manner as well. Everyone was very attentive! So A+ for service
Our clams were amazing, crab, lobster, T-​bone and burger were all cooked perfectly. The best part is they even have a local farm make ice cream for them for dessert. The food was an A+ too

Second review… I was invited to dinner here tonight. So, after last time I thought I’d go with an open mind. Do NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE UNLESS YOU ARE GOOD WITH SPENDING ON YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY SHITTY FOOD (can obviously there are awful lot of clueless people when it comes to food). Right now we have the manager arguing with my friend about his over cooked steak. REALLY! What ever happened to the customer being right. There are so many places in Sussex in Warren County where you can get a decent steak and better service than this place. I am I were invited to this place again, I will never hesitate to say no thank you.

I’ve only been here once but I was shocked at how great the food and service was. The menu is huge, ranging from seafood to burgers, and all at a great price. The appetizers are delicious and come in s shareable portion size.
The waitresses were all friendly and took our orders quickly. Food was delivered quickly, our multiple orders were correct, and they checked on us to make sure we had enough drinks etc.
The atmosphere was ok, as long as you’re ok with eating next to 20+ dead animal heads hanging on the wall. That would normally throw me off, but the rooms are so big that they don’t overwhelm the space. It definitely has a down-​home, hunting, country-​bar feel to it. The bar itself is very large, can’t vouch for the service or night scene since I went for dinner around 6pm. There are plenty of TVs to watch near the bar for game nights.
THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH. This was one downside, but if you know ahead of time you’re fine.

I drove by this place on a Friday evening and the cars were backed up to the road so we decided to give it a try. Stopped in on Wednesday evening. Good food, lots of it. Great service. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

the bar has character, the employees are warm & welcoming, the drinks are cold & strong, the steamers — crab legs — lobster are always cooked perfectly & delicious. this is my go-​to for a stiff drink & seafood fix

This bar/​restaurant had a very country vibe, lots of locals and lots of open space.
The portions were great, you can’t beat the lobster and clams deal, though the burger was very good to.
Prices reflect most jersey establishments in that it is more expensive than the rest of the world but still reasonable for the area.
Beer selection was limited when it came to crafts and there was no ($ 1/​$ 2) drafts either. Wait staff was friendly, we sat at the bar.
If you live in the area and haven’t been it’s certainly worth a try. Wouldn’t drive to far out of the way though.

Great food, reasonably priced and quite fun of an atmosphere. After dinner, belly up to the bar and there are folks of all kind. All seem to be happy folks looking to have a good time and very pleasant, and make you feel like no stranger. Bar staff and wait staff all seem very friendly. The one thing I liked about the menu was it was not one-​hundred choices, it is somewhat limited but what they cook they have mastered. I had the king crab legs and steamers, outstanding! I tasted my Wife’s steak, it was very good. Definitely going back. Oh yeah, pretty cool place with a true country setting back behind a corn field with several horses corralled up in the back behind the building, nice to watch. I can typically judge a kitchen without even seeing it, if the bathrooms are clean, typically the kitchen is likewise clean, bathroom was definitely clean. Highly recommend when passing through, you will come back.

This is a wonderful place with amazing prices. Moved from NY so this place seems like it has 1980’s prices. Nothing fancy inside but great for a family. They really have wonderful waitress’s we always ask for Wendy she is super. The steaks are huge and the steamers are amazing. I mean amazing. My husband and I order a steak, steamers and a lobster and split is all and our bill is less than 50.00. How can you beat that! Cash only… Casual Dress.

My friend had a vodka drink and when we asked bartender and watched her pour more vodka in it… it still tasted like water. Maybe they are watering down the alcohol. Or the juice to boot. Hmmm?

A great place for simple, good bar food. The staff are friendly and attentive. My wife and I have dinner and drinks here routinely and the food is always consistent. It is casual.

It all depends your outlook when it comes to this restaurant. I would pay 35 to 50 dollars for a good steak or seafood dish. If you give me low quality food like steak and crab at 19.00 but it is cheap frozen s@%t then it is not for me. This is no frills dining, like a dive bar with food. Some people like this type of place but it is not for me.

Well… this place is a dive but some people really like it… I didn’t. I guess it’s good if your a local and like to have dead animals watch you eat your appetizers off of paper plates. Went there a about a week ago with some guys from work. The service seems to be unskilled and the food is mediocre at best.

Service is so much better, the steaks taste better since they ditched the ‘rub’ they pit on it before. Our waitress was great! We will be back more!

I actually really enjoy this place. Yes, it is a dive. It’s basically there for good, cheap food. I stop here after a day at Allamuchy and it’s always a great place to wind down. Staff is nice, food is cheap, it comes out fast, and it tastes great. That’s all you need to know. Downside? It’s cash only. I hate that.
The back room is a lil odd with the deer heads surrounding the place.
Get the clams! So cheap for a dozen or two. Also, the chicken parm was great.
Also, save room for dessert. They have this ice cream made by one of the local farms. It’s amazing.

The view is beautiful if you sit in the back section of the restaurant. I got the Eggplant Parm platter which was served in generous-​portions and delicious. Steamers are great of course, but overall everything was a bit pricier than expected. For 2 people we ended up with a bill of $ 32 before tip. Mandatory 1 drink minimum (they charge you lowest $ 2 for a bottle of water) per person was annoying. Service was mediocre at best — perhaps the waitress was having a bad day.
I was expecting to get a great value for dinner and did not get that. The place is a little overrated but I would good back as it’s laid-​back and very casual. And the food was good (albeit more pricey than I expected).

Stopped by while in the area for a couple of drinks and relive the days experience. Started off with a weak holiday drink for $ 7 that came in a shot glass. Switched to beers $ 5 each.
