We were here yesterday and had to come back for more! We’ve tried 5 different sandwiches here and they are all amazing! The complimentary cannoli when you check in is also very delicious! Friendly staff, amazing food will keep you coming back!

I go to Marie’s all the time for lunch as I work right around the corner. They have great sandwiches and salads but I love their soups the most! They always have interesting and seasonal flavors and I haven’t been disappointed yet.

Gluten free sub is something I haven’t been able to get for years! And it was delicious. The service was great as well.

My car is being fixed so I had to eat someplace in walking distance. I don’t own a bulletproof vest, so I skip Angelo’s pizza. I’ve not tried Marie’s Sandwich bar yet since I already go to a terrific hoagie shop in Oaklyn — Amato Bros. So it was time to give Marie’s a try. They have hoagies, sandwiches with a variety of breads(e.g. flatbread), panini, and salads. A panino is $ 8. So I chose an Italian hoagie — their«Old World» version. A half of any hoagie is $ 6. It was almost exactly 6 inches and it weighed 310 grams or 10 ¾ oz. A bit steep for that amount.(A mini at Amato is close to a pound for $ 3.99). The meats were decent and so was the cheese, There are not an over-abundance of lettuce or onions. So, the proportions were good. The killer was the bread from Caccia’s bakery — a small local chain. While not gag inducing like the in-store baked crap that The Works in Audubon uses, it is solidly mediocre and dragged down the hoagie as if an anchor were tied around its neck. I posted two photos for your enjoyment. Was the hoagie bad? No. Was it good? Sure. Was it great? No. That bread killed it. I didn’t eat in. The vibe there is «quonset hut». So if you’re a WWII south pacific vet you’d feel at home. I didn’t check to see if they offered SoS. The employees were friendly and not jerks. The verdict: Would I eat here again? Yes, if my usual options are unavailable.

My order was the The Ernie($ 8) pulled chicken, pepper jack, mushrooms, red onion marmalade, arugula and focaccia. The ingredients were fresh. The mildly hot pepper jack was a good combo with the pulled chicken. The sweet marmalade was a nice out of ordinary taste to the sandwich. For 8 bucks it was a good potion of food. Thumbs up on my panini. My husband pretty much loathed his sandwich though. I kept laughing at him because he was starving and he was really grumpy when his hot hoagie came out barely warm. His order was the Grandmom Rose, a $ 9 pulled chicken, sharp provolone and broccoli rabe hot hoagie. The long hots he asked for were roasted red peppers instead. He originally wanted a ‘Rome’ but the shop was out of pork. It just was not going his way at all here. There was plenty of seats since they were pretty much dead but the setting was like sitting in an industrial shed. I really liked the bar seating with window but it was a little dirty in the corner. A few fixes and this shop would be worth visiting again.

Wow was this place awesome. I had a pretzel sandwich one day and a salad another and am planning on coming again. Best sandwich I’ve had in ages, definitely tops most in the area.

I think Unilocal says it best– Woohoo! As good as it gets! Marie’s fulfills all of my hoagie dreams. The roll, the fresh meats and veggies, the delicious cheeses, the AMAZING spreads and sauces– not to mention, they also offer wraps and flatbreads as vehicles for their delicious fillings. I work in the area, and often their sandwiches are too large for me to be able to enjoy at lunch and actually stay awake until 5:00 p.m., so I tend to get one to take home for dinner. I’ve never been disappointed with any of my choices! What sets this place apart from the other sub spots is their creativity and attention to detail. Since when can you get a classic hoagie with truffle aioli? Or chicken salad that is actually freshly pulled to order oven roasted chicken? They also sell huge salads and other items that you would never think a hoagie shop would sell. I grew up in a town that has an awesome little shop just like this called Mama Marie’s, except it is a little more classic-Italian. I recently found out that it is owned by the same family! Definitely the best sandwich spot in the Haddonfield area.

My salon is luckily located in a great area and this spot is a quick walk away. Famished and needing something quick, I thought it would be a perfect day to finally try this place out. With so many delicious choices, I wanted something simple to start with, Little Nicky. As my day was going, things weren’t specifically going my way. No complaints yet. Since it was around 2pm I was kindly informed they were out of Hoagie rolls. OK, not a huge deal. what is available? I went with a pretzel roll. And it was freaking fantastic. Deliciously stuffed full of meats and that roll was one of the best I’ve ever had. One gripe– I couldn’t taste the provolone. Next time I’ll add sharp provolone. They also stock local Root Beer(which is my fave) for a total of $ 8 bucks. Turned out to be a wonderful Saturday afternoon lunch.

I really do like Marie’s Sandwich Bar for their unique hoagie combinations and especially gluten free roll options — however I’ve been disappointed one too many times with their hours on Saturday evenings. Their hours are not posted on their website. All restaurant and business operations should have hours posted on their website! So I usually resort to calling on a Saturday evening to find out. Each time I call, it either rings forever without any voicemail saying they are closed, or they do answer and I’m told they already closed for the night. Tonight, I called at 6:35pm and was told they closed 5 minutes ago. I looked online searching for their hours again. Google said open until 10:00pm on Saturday. Their Facebook page said 7:00pm. So which is it? Neither said 6:30pm. I understand they are privately/family owned, but I don’t think that should mean they close whenever they feel like it. Three times now I have talked up this great establishment when having family or guests over. We all get our orders ready, only to call in and be disappointed. Please, if anyone from Marie’s Sandwich Bar is reading this, please advertise your hours correctly so it can stop being a guessing game for your patrons. Thank you!

I really really really enjoyed Marie’s! We went on Good Friday during Lent and we were blown away by the fish tacos that we saw posted on Facebook! I even suggested that they add it to the menu all the time. But then my health would probably go downhill and I would go broke from being there all the time! We also got their crab bisque soup which was absolutely delicious & tasty! When you pair an entrée and soup you can add a drink where the soup and drink together come to equal $ 3 total. We also got the Jersey sandwich since it was meatless & that was also to die for!!! We are already planning our next Marie’s trip! Absolutely recommend. So fresh and delicious!!!

I will definitely be back. I had the«Pat» panini which has pulled chicken, smoked mozzarella, spinach artichoke spread, tomatoes, and flat bread. The chicken was so well seasoned and tender — YUM! It got a little soggy in transport — I ordered my sandwich to go, but it was still delicious. I’m going to have to try one of their hoagies next after seeing other reviewers’ photos!

Yesterday I attended Uncorked Haddonfield. Before the event started, I grabbed a sandwich from Marie’s. I ordered an Italian hoagie with hot peppers on a gluten-free roll. The sandwich was amazing. Highly recommend the sub shop for anybody who has a gluten issue. Staff was very knowledgeable of what items on the menu were gluten-free.

I got the Sarah Marie… one of the BEST sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. The focaccia bread was fresh & moist, everything perfectly seasoned and the touch of Rosemary was a wonderful surprise. Definitely not your typical sandwich spot. And the service was friendly.

I dig this place. I have tried quite a few of their hoagies and like them all. The half 6-inch hoagies w/a bag of chips fills me up. Good meat portions(not over-stuffed). The roll tastes good(holds up well). Perfect amount of oil/vinegar. I like the ‘Ruthie’, and ‘Marie’s Old World’ to name a few. I am going to have to try some of the Panini’s next time. Prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly. The place is clean.

First thought walking into Marie’s: «Oh, I have those Ikea chairs in my apartment.» Marie’s is surprisingly low-key in an industrial/bare bones kind-of way. It works. You walk in, place your order, grab a drink/chips, take an Ikea-seat at one of the few tables, and they deliver your food to you. They also clean up. I had the Anthony — a pulled chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce and cheese on a pretzel bun. It’s pretty delicious and unique. I’d recommend trying it, or any of the pretzel sandwiches for that matter. My friend had an eggplant panini and loved it. We both chose the Philadelphia sodas(root beer — her; orange cream — me) to accompany our food, which, for me, felt like stepping back in time to childhood! This sandwich bar is located near the back of Kings Court. I parked in the Chestnut lot, which was a short walk away. But, hey, sometimes you can find street parking! Sometimes. I was going to say, «Make sure to go to Sweet T’s after your lunch!!!» but then realized that someone else already wrote that. So… I second that opinion!

Broccoli cheddar soup and a Tony panini are where it’s at. Pretty decent sandwich spot for a quick lunch. The service is quick and friendly. We ordered at the counter and someone brought our food to us. If you don’t want to dine there, they will happily pack everything to go. The prices are extremely reasonable given the portion, but more importantly, the taste. Very flavorful. Very fresh.

[Yelp directions are NOT correct. Somehow my Google maps directed me elsewhere? It’s address is correct at Kings Court near Sweet Ts Bakery, off Kings Highway. Sits between the ACME and Kings Highway.] Service: Very good — Order at counter, the guy brings the food to your table, he’ll check back on you after you’ve tasted your food, and then you leave your stuff on the table — they will clean it up. Food: A great variety of sandwiches at great prices! There is something for everyone. Variety of chips and cold drinks too. You can call ahead for a take-out order or dine in. Atmosphere: Modern, laid-back, clean, easy. Good for families, a casual date, etc. I shared two sandwiches with my fiancée: Sarah Marie Sandwich & Maries Old Sandwich. Sarah Marie is on focaccia bread — seasoned well, flavorful toppings, etc. Maries Old Sandwich is served on a traditional italian seeded roll — oh so good — so fresh and soft! None of that cracker bread crap that you get like at Primos.(Do they want my teeth to crack?) You won’t get that here at Marie’s. I will definitely be back to try more. They have a chalkboard listing the«favorites» but the menu is fairly extensive to order from. Enjoy!

I absolutely love this place! It’s close to my work, which means easy access to endless sandwiches. I rarely go healthy there, but why would you want to? FOCCIAALLDAY. I’ve had the Sarah Marie, Auletto, Ernie and the Bubby. The Bubby is by FAR my favorite. Who doesn’t love things named bubby, I mean come one. Aside from that, it’s a sandwich with prusciutto, mozzarella, roasted peppers, tomatoes and basil oil. My biggest complaint about the few sandwiches I had was there was just a little too much oil on the bread, enough to make it soggy when mixed with the lettuce and tomatoes. I don’t think that’s a deal breaker, but merely a request to make next time I go there. They also have these Philly-based homemade sodas in the fridge. Cream soda and root beer are my weaknesses. Also: everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend going, it’s Italian panini heaven.
