I love this place! It’s a hidden gem for sure. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve gotten on the menu so far, especially the hummus and falafel. I recommend this restaurant to my friends as often as I can!

Wonderful and quaint little restaurant in Haddonfield. We were the only couple in the place on a Saturday night and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The falafel was awesome, and the beef kabobs and salmon were amazing. The staff was great, and just as friendly and personable as could be. They went over the top in making sure we had a memorable experience. Would recommend to all and we will definitely be back!!!

This place is great. I went here with three other people and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The sampler plate with falafel, grape leaves, and hummus was delicious and hit the spot. We all ordered different entrees: Greek salad, lamb dish, chicken, and chicken gyro sandwich. We all were immensely happy with our entrees and shared bites with each other so we could all try each other’s plates. We were talking about our meals the following day too! I highly recommend this gem of a casual family restaurant!

These people are very rude. I walked to the front door at 8:20pm and as I was reading the menu posted on the door, they flipped the sign over from open to close. They are suppose to close at 9pm. They should have at least came out to let me and my husband know they were closing early. No Bueno!

I went here on a whim with a friend of mine on a Friday night because the restaurant was a BYO. I did make reservations in advance knowing that Fridays in Haddonfield/Collingswood can be very busy. When you walk into the establishment, you realize what a SMALL place it really is. I swear it seats about 15 people, but because of this it’s super intimate. The lighting helps the intimacy as well. My friend and I just so happened to be coming in on an especially busy night… The restaurant had apparently booked a birthday of some sort that they’d forgotten to put on the books, but with the commotion of the mix-up, the manager of the restaurant remedied the issue and got the girls situated. I thought he handled things really professionally, although things got a bit crowded once they were all seated. Fortunately for us, our meal time didn’t run as long as theirs and we got out of there to give them some more space. The food was wonderful. We ordered a salmon appetizer per the waiter’s recommendation — lots of flavor. And the main course was delicious as well. I’d definitely recommend the place to others, especially if you’re looking for something unique and quaint.

We are local, and we love the food here. It is our favorite restaurant in Haddonfield. Everything always tastes fresh, and healthy. They have fantastic salads, and we are always happy getting one of their specials of the day, whatever it is! The owners are always friendly and greet you by name, which is always nice!

Unfortunately, I think this place has closed. Has been dark for the last 2 – 3 weeks.

BYOB restaurant with a really good lamb dish. However, aside from the lamb, we weren’t quite sure what else to get. The two times that we got something else other than the lamb, we were slightly disappointed.

One of my favorite restaurants, it’s run by the sweetest couple and the food is amazing. I recommend getting the sampler as the appetizer which includes hummus, pita, cheese, egg plant and stuffed grape leaves. It’s especially perfect for a personal one on one date with someone special.

The Salmon special with vegetables was excellent! Falafel sandwich and grape leaves were also very good. The location is quaint with a nice outdoor eating space.

I purchased a $ 25 coupon to use at this place and they would not honor it. We only purchased it to try it out and see how to food is. I would think one would enter a marketing agreement and collect some fees to increase business but I suppose they do not want the business.

Absolutely adore this place. I usually get the appetizer platter which contains probably the best mirza and hummus I’ve had. The mirza, especially, is smoky and incredibly flavorful. I also recommend the mixed vegetables which doesn’t sound like much but is completely mind-blowing. As an entrée I usually get the lamb kabob which i LOVELOVELOVE. The lamb is so tender and packed with flavor. I am literally salivating as I write this review. To end the meal, we were given complimentary desserts which was a very pleasant surprise! The restaurant itself is small and cozy with outdoor seating available. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to come back!

I’m bummed we didn’t like this restaurant more. Part of it, I’m sure, is that I can’t eat dairy and everything seemed to have cheese on it. I really would expect a place with mediterranean in the title to make bangin’ hummus and falafel but both these items(on the appetizer sampler plate) were incredibly bland and unseasoned. Luckily the roasted eggplant tomato dip was delicious. I had the mediterranean salad as my main, without feta. It was dressed in balsamic vinegar only — there was no olive oil — and it was topped with more of the salsa fresca on every other plate. My husband’s tilapia was very bland but at least not over-cooked. Previous reviewers are definitely right about the rice and veggies — just get the vegetables, they are outstanding and the rice is just plain rice. My husband is a fan of the fried cheese, but it just wasn’t enough to rescue the meal. The complimentary baklava triangles at the end was a nice touch. We won’t be back. I think you’d better make reservations if you do decide to go, however, because this place is tiny and had to turn folks away while we were eating.

Super tiny, hidden gem of a restaurant. Amazing food. GETTHEMIXEDVEGETABLESWITHYOURENTREE! Roasted sweet potatoes, green beans, potatoes, brussel sprouts, and more-those veggies alone are worth the trip! And the owner brought us free baklava after dinner. Will definitely be back!

I’ll add my thanks to all previous Unilocal reviewers. This place is a real find. Wife and I ordered the lamb dinner with mixed veggies and it was as good as it gets. Lamb was tender, full of flavor, and just delicious. Mixed veggies were great. Not sure if the server was the owner, but very personable and friendly. This is now my favorite Greek restaurant in the area.

Thank-you fellow Unilocalers. If this little place was in Seattle, I would never write a review just to keep it a secret! It only has 7 tables and is a bit hard to find. I used to live in a Greek neighborhood when I was in school, so I enjoyed some wonderful Mediterranean food. I have never had lamb this good! It just became more flavorful and savory with every bite. It was just amazing. The tapenade was remarkable, too; the appetizer sampler is a must-order. This place is a true gem!

Very small BYOB café in Haddonfield that has outstanding food. We started out with two appetizers one the fried Calamari with a side of Tomato sauce which I would rate a b– but the grilled portabella with Tomato and mozzarella was awesome. We had the lamb dinner which was marinated for a day an half and was probably one of the best pieces of grilled lamb I have had. We also had the salmon which was the fish of the day served with fresh grilled mixed vegetables including broccoli, carrots, sweet potatoes, and cauliflower. The owner brought over at the end four small piece of chocolate fudge brownie with chocolate sauce for our desert on the house. Very reasonable priced and great service. Make a reservation since the place is very small.

This was a lovely dining experience in this quaint & simple restaurant. Although small it has its own personal style & décor. We started with the smoked salmon appetizer which was light & fresh on pita bread with field greens, diced tomatoes & cucumbers. For dinner we delighted in the delicious dishes of pan seared salmon in lemon juice @ garlic w/saffron rice as well as the lamb dinner. The lamb dinner was marinated lamb cubes with vegetables & saffron rice. Both dishes were well prepared & we cleaned our plates. The final added touch were 2 thin sliced of cheesecake drizzled with chocolate for dessert. Returning to the Mediterranean Café is definitely guaranteed.
