Traditional PJs fare. Pretty good food and a fairly decent beer selection. They offer the PJ custom copper ale along with half priced wings on Tuesdays. Most of the food they offer is pretty good. This place has a smaller parking lot which can cause issues on busy nights

I’ve been to this location a couple of times, but only on nights for quizzo(trivia). The bar food standards are delicious– buffalo chicken dip, cheesesteak eggrolls. The cheesesteak nachos needed more cheese sauce & steak, but still 10x better than other places I have been. They usually have a fun margarita special on Wednesdays and lots of beer choices. We haven’t been a huge fan of the questions in the trivia here. It’s not mixed up enough. It’s practically all pop culture. Not to bring up other bars, but usually music, history, sports. it needs to be mixed up! Servers & bartenders are real friendly. Sitting in the back area it can get Loud!

I have been an avid Unilocaler for quite some time now. I use this specific application to spread a positive word for restaurants in my area. I usually keep the negative comments to myself, but it wasn’t until a recent trip to PJ Whelihans Haddonfield that left a bad taste in my mouth. Around 8 – 10 of my buddies and I get together for drinks every Sunday at this certain location. This past Weekend there were approximately four of us. A waitress by the name of Jaquelin, waited on us. We’ve had bad experiences before with this certain waitress, but this time was the final straw. It was around the 4 – 5 o’ clock hour, when we had arrived(also the Eagles Bye Week) so the place wasn’t too crowded. We waited approximately 20 minutes before being able to order. When waitress Jaquelin arrived to take our order she seemed very dismissive & very unmotivated, sighing at the very moment we began to place our orders. When we had finally received our orders, i would like to note that a different waitress escorted the food to us(in a kindly manner) From here on out, it was highly difficult to reach out for Jaquelin’s attention while trying to place orders for drinks & what not. She visited our table an estimated 2 times in our 3 hour stay. Upon paying our bill, we’ve concluded that she did not deserve the typical 18% tip. She hadn’t performed her duties to the standard of the rest of the pjs staff(which are usually a great bunch of workers) After gathering up the desired amount & tip included, we placed the money on the table and continued to watch the football game. Jaquelin soon after grabbed the money from the table, not peeping a word, not even asking if wanted any change back. She then scurried away to the register. Within a moments notice she darted back to our table in a rage, not happy with the minimal tip we had left her. She said, «here, you can keep this tip, it’s not going to do me any good» and then ran off in a tantrum. Hearing her yelling to her manager, shouting obscenities is what really distressed me. And for that, I will not be returning to this establishment. It is quite a shame, I have spent many good years here. I would like to personally thank Jaquelin for decimating my Pjs experience.

Tonight we did take out. Always can count on the chicken wings to be great. Tonight ordered the fish tacos with lettuce wraps & they forgot the chipotle mayo & the cabbage was a bright purple pickled cabbage. Not good!

Went here to watch a Penn State game. Was cheering for the team. Owner or manager was standing next to me with his friends. His friend made a pedophilia joke after I cheered for the team. Ironically he was just talking about the Popes visit. I chirped at him about the irony and manager cut me off. Usually have had a good experience but this was the worst. If you’re a Penn State alum, don’t come here. You’re not welcome.

Wazzup! I live every day of my life like I’m living in a beer commercial. That’s why I eat every lunch and dinner at PJ Whelihan’s. You know how I’m always up for anything, right? Well, so is Whelihan’s menu. It’s so diverse. You can get buffalo wings, buffalo chicken fingers, a buffalo chicken sandwich, a buffalo chicken wrap, and more. There are also six different types of tater tots. ANDTWINS! Speaking of twins, you’re going to love the waitstaff. They all look like they just got off of the Silver Bullet Train and they’re ready to party. Your ability to restrain yourself will be stretched as thin as the Lycra on the bartenders’ t-shirts. Maybe I love PJ’s because it reminds me of my frat house. It smells like stale beer and the walls are covered in beer signs and pictures of white guys. Also, the kids menu is very good. To sum up, PJ Whelihan’s is brought to you by Bud Light. Fresh. Smooth. Real. Bud Light. When you wake up at noon and you need something to eat, put on your flip-flops and walk down to Whelihan’s for a 200 oz. tower of beer and a plate of nachos. 4 stars because they don’t have a dog wearing sunglasses.

Love PJ’s! This is probably my favorite location. Their food is so good and they have decent drink specials throughout the week. Their wings are awesome. I especially love the hot and honey flavored wings. Their famous fries are great too. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. They have trivia on Wednesday nights. Lots of fun.

straight-forward food options, good beer selection. Not my first choice, but not a bad one either.

Great Menu choices-and lots of sports on TV. We had shrimp tacos and a Reuben. They were very good. Great service from Rose-she actually opened up a closed bar for us because we like eating at the bar. Received VIP TREATMENT-first time here, I see us becoming regulars. Thanks Rose and PJs

#1 complaint these days — why the change from the best ketchup — Heinz to the lower quality brand — French’s? Is it cost? Switch back to the only brand that should be offered!

If you are into chain junk food and shitty service, make sure you go here. Also great for dumb bartenders with super white teeth, cleavage, and fake tans.

A decent place to go to watch a game. There are a lot of TVs and they turned the sound on for the Eagles game. Other than that, its pretty similar to any other bar. Nothing too impressive on tap, more of a light beer place. I tried the chili, it was alright, but not worth seeking out. The fish and chips weren’t bad but they were a little softer than they should be. I like their potato skins, they are made in the most unhealthy way possible: halved potatoes scooped out into little bowls, crispy fried, and filled with cheese and bacon. The pear salad was pretty good, I would get that again. Service was friendly, but I think this would only be a place that I would attend to make use of their TVs.

While its interior may offer some charms, the PJ’s food is bad and trending worse. Fries, a mainstay at any pub, should not be reheated as it kills their flavor. Happy Hour«specials» are merely half portions with no apparent price advantage. Outdoor seating, on metallic benches, offers no comforts but plenty of secondhand smoke. 2.5 stars is about right. I truncated because I feel they can do much better.

Our family used to love to dine here because of the atmosphere and the convenient location. We have lived in Haddonfield for the almost 8 years and noticed a significant decline in the quality of the food while the prices have gone up. It feels like as this chain has gotten bigger they have looked for efficiencies in their supply chain and moved to more frozen food instead of making things fresh. Their chicken sandwiches contain the thinnest chicken breast I’ve ever seen. Their burgers have no taste and their cheese steaks are extremely greasy. Finally, their signature wings are getting smaller and smaller while getting more expensive. $ 8.99 for 6 buffalo nuggets is outrageous! The waitresses walk around with an attitude and a pouty look on their face everytime we are there. You’d think they were models posing on a catwalk but most are out of shape. It is also very hard to get their attention when you need something. One positive is they have a decent selection of craft beers and they do have NFL ticket for football. We really like supporting hometown businesses that cater to young families but PJ’s poor quality and staff is forcing us to go elsewhere. PJ’s, if you read these reviews, please at least upgrade the food. I can deal with the attitude from the staff

Living in Collingswood, this location is ideal for me. I have been here countless times for Wing Night, a night out, lunch, and more. PJ’s is a chain that is doing something right. The selection of food and drinks is great. Prices are super reasonable. I always leave here full and satisfied with what I had! If there is a sporting event happening, they’ve got it playing on their numerous televisions. Parking can be tricky, but the Rite-Aid across the street provides some extra spaces! The only thing holding me back from five stars is the service. Sometimes it is amazing, but other times the girls working pay no attention to you and can even be rude. All in all, PJ’s is a great spot to get wings or even a nice dinner. Enjoy!

I could look past our stuck up waitress, but I couldn’t look past the dried out meatless wings. If you see the sign that says«world famous buffalo wings», don’t be fooled! The wings aren’t worth putting on the curb let alone a sign. It takes a lot for me to never try a place again, but pjs on Haddon ave will be one of those places

Yes, this was a huge difference from our first experience, and so significant, it definitely had to be updated… Let’s get started from the beginning, the place was hopping on a Friday evening at prime time 6:15pm. Somehow, the hostesses got us seated within 10 minutes, and at a table that fit our party of 6! The crown jewel of the evening? Jess, the server/waitress/gift from God. Table was constantly attended, conversation and interaction persistent and genuine, the drinks always refreshed(exquisitely at that!), the food arrived before we knew it, and all the while, Jess was making great suggestions for drinks, appetizers and even hot spots to check out before we left the area. PJs in Haddonfield, you broke my heart last time we spent time together, but thanks to Jess, you’re back on our list. Thank you Jess, you rock.

I’ve been to a few PJ’s locations — in fact, I’ve been to every NJ location. This one is my least favorite. I’ve been to this one 4 times and I just can’t give it a decent review as there is one pervasive problem — for some reason it is always REALLY hard to get the attention of anyone to get service. I had this issue when I came here for a happy hour with some friends about a year and a half ago. It was busy so, I was willing to give it another shot but… Most recently, I went in on a day where it was fairly quiet and sat at the side bar. I was on my own and was hoping to grab a drink and a bite to eat. There was only 1 other person seated in this area and 4 servers/waitstaff behind the bar but for some reason I couldn’t get anyone’s attention. I am sure whatever they were gossiping about and looking at on their phones was much more important than acknowledging my presence. I even waved, got a head nod and then nothing. A good server would at least come and tell me that someone would come and help me in a moment, even if she wasn’t working the bar. After waiting about 5 minutes, hoping for at least a glass of water I got up and moved to the main bar where I was able to get halfway decent service and food. Unfortunately, no matter how good the food/drinks were, it couldn’t overcome the initial impressions.
