If you like long island ice teas their blue long island would be the best in the area travel little way but enjoyed myself with family friends.

Food was decent but our wait time was double. They said 45 min and we waited over 1.5 hours. Hostess was not very nice… would not go back anytime soon!

Looks like Medieval Times from the outside. Very dated inside. We had a large party(25) and they squeezed us into a bunch of tables pushed together. Food was OK.

I’ve seen the PUB sign every time I’m heading back from Cherry Hill, but have never gone inside. I’m told their french onion soup is pretty solid which I may get to try one day. I was here for a work type event and thought it was a perfect time to try it out. I unfortunately will not get over how STICKY the floor and carpet were. It was a gross feeling to have to peel your shoes off the floor. I can’t even imagine what’s under that carpet. This wasn’t a crazy event. Just a bunch of mostly business men, chatting and enjoying their time. The servers seemed scattered brian, but friendly. The food was dry pasta and fried foods. And not sure who decided the passed hor d’oeuvres, but ribs were not a good idea. The inside was decorated for the holidays, lots of snowflakes hanging from the ceiling. I’m intrigued to come back and try out one of their steaks. Maybe that will be a better experience than having a private cocktail party.

Being here in this place was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The staff is unfriendly. To eat here or even sit at the table you have to pay $ 10.50 plus tax. I would never ever come back here, I’m only here to support my coworkers, this is where they choose to have the Christmas party.

I have been coming here for years, this is the best place hands down. The staff is so nice and helpful. Tonight while I was walking out of the pub, there was a large family seated next to us. They were knit picking everything, I assume they got the check and we’re not happy with the price. The one gentleman went to I assume the manager, talking to him nasty, explaining how he spends all this money at the pub and how he the customer is always right, in this case the guy was not. He was so rude and I actually wanted to stop and tell the guy to shut his mouth. The staff though and manager were so calm about the situation, explained the guy he would take care of him, the gentlemen with this smirk on his face sat down like a chump. I would of hit him but that’s just me haha. I will keep coming to this place until I die.

Halloween night at the Pub and worth the hour– long wait! Love their salad bar(especially Caesar salad) and steaks. Even better value with a coupon from the newspaper!

The pub is not what the pub use to be. It went down hill. I asked for a medium filet it came out well done so we sent it back and the second one came out raw, and all the food was cold. Last time we came here we also had problems with our food, so we decided to give it another chance and were still very disappointed

I don’t even know how to re-rate this place, based on my prior experience and this recent visit! I SO wanted to love the Pub again, so we decided to give it another chance on a recent Friday night. Arrived rather early, place not even half full. Seated immediately. Noise level much less then previous visit, we could actually talk and be heard. An older gentleman(a manager?) came around to our table to welcome and greet us. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. I ordered the same meal as before, ribeye medium rare, baked potato and the included salad bar and bread. I wish they had a smaller portion than an 18 oz ribeye, as I am not a huge eater, but that’s all they have for ribeye. The food took a VERY long time to arrive to our table, which seemed odd due to the place not even being very busy. The salad bar was acceptable. Nice warm bread on table. Our food finally arrived, and to my delight my steak was cooked perfect! A perfect medium rare! Baked potato was fine, just an ordinary baked potato with a cup of sour cream and some butter pats laying next to it. I dig in. My boyfriend’s meal however, was ridiculously small. A shrimp and scallop entrée with only THREE of each? It looked like an appetizer! A whole bunch of green beans and a ball of mashed potatoes. He did not like the mashed potatoes or the scallops. Said shrimp was ok. I received a box and bag for my remaining steak. Later on that evening he became violently ill in every way possible, and was sick all night long. We can’t even pinpoint which item was the culprit, I suppose the seafood? We both ate from the salad bar, but different items and I felt fine. We will never be returning to The Pub.

Love this place. Huge dining room, can get pretty busy/noisy. At one end of the dining room, you can see the open hearth brick ovens where they cook steaks and ribs over charcoal. Good variety of food, steaks, ribs, chicken, seafood. Good sides. Excellent salad bar. I love the marinated portobello mushrooms on the salad bar. Full service bar. Ambiance is kind of like a large medieval feast hall. Suits of armor and all. For desert, usually have a good variety of cakes. Wife loves the carrot cake. If you think you can handle it, they have this giant, super chocolate cake. Enough for 3.

We used to go here often when I was a child up until my 20’s. The place hasn’t changed much — which is actually a good thing. It is HUGE with a nice selection of great food. I usually have seafood and ALWAYS have the salad bar. My good friend had her 50th birthday party here and the staff did an excellent job w/the location of her party and w/the service. It’s a bit out of my way but I’d definitely go back.

Been here a million times over the last 20 yrs. it’s been a while since we’ve been here, but everything was great. Nice to go with kids because it’s fairly noisy. The filet is always cooked perfect, never had a bad meal here ever!

To begin, getting in/out of the location can be a bit confusing as it is surrounded by major roads. Once you’re in the lot, there are tons of parking options. If you don’t have a reservation, especially around dinner, you may be waiting a bit for a table. There are places to sit as you wait, but no time that I have been there has seating been super quick. If you come to The Pub, come hungry. If you get a standard entrée, it typically comes with a potato option and the salad bar, and for most plates, you will be taking a doggie bag home with the rest of it! The food is good. Not the best I’ve ever had, but it isn’t bad, and you won’t be leaving hungry! The prices may seem a few bucks more than the next place, but for the amount of food you get, it’s worth it. We have gone each time in larger sized groups(15 people or so) and it can be done, just be sure to call and make a reservation so they can try and accommodate you as soon as possible.

In the category of older traditional restaurants in the Philadelphia area, The Pub is A-List. It’s been around since the early 1900’s and is still a popular dining destination today. When you walk in, the first thing that will hit you is how huge it is. It can seat at least 500 diners. And then you notice the many brick charcoal ovens against the far wall where the chefs are plying their trade. It kinda feels like I imagine a restaurant in the 1950’s or 1960’s must have been like. The food is also good here… not gourmet or nouvelle… but very well-prepared. Especially famous is their roast beef which is slowly cooked for hours. The only addition I would make here is that the accompanying horse radish sauce be sharper and have more«horse radish» kick to it. My favorite item on the menu is that they have Philadelphia snapper soup with sherry. A delicious bowl of this Philadelphia classic is huge and not expensive at all and my only wish would be for just a few more pieces of turtle meat in it. Every table also receives a loaf of fresh bread. You can also add on the salad bar if you like and there is a full desert menu. The waitress I had was excellent and attentive … and one of the owner/managers patrols the dining room talking to the guests to make sure everything is in order and up to people’s expectations. So for a hearty meal and a step back in time, head over the bridge to Jersey and The Pub. It will def be a place you will remember.

The Pub is a place that time forgot. Huge portions. Huge Salad Bar. A big, wide open room. I still remember when you could smoke inside. The(disgusting) smoke would hover, and you’d be hit with it as soon as you walked into the main entrance /lounge. I’m fairly certain if you sniffed the décor today you’d still smell that smoke. The main dining room is sight to behold. The room is filled with the glorious smell of hot ovens, steak, potatoes, and huge slices of cake(you can’t smell them, but you’ll see them, which is enough). The pricing is right in-line with what you get — and that is awesome. Large, juicy steaks and potatoes that have been done the same way since 19-whenever. You gotta stop in here — highly recommended.

Old school neighborhood steakhouse. I can imagine years ago this would be a comfortable smoke filled kind of place. Based on other reviews, I had the prime rib. It is bone-in and huge. It’s pretty good, but those remarking it is the best they have ever had have likely never been to a world-class steakhouse serving prime meats. That said it is reasonably priced at around $ 30 for most entrees. The stuffed twice baked potato is a bit of a disappointment as it only comes with sour cream, probably should have gotten some bacon from the salad bar and asked for butter. The salad bar is pretty limited with iceberg lettuce or a Caesar’s salad. Apparently after I made my trip they added anchovies. The restaurant is huge with plenty of free parking.

I went to the Pub for a family dinner(my grandfather turned 80 last weekend), so me and 14 other members of the family converged on the establishment on a Saturday night at 5. I was surprised at how empty the place was, but the size of the restaurant was positively enormous(so a normal-sized restaurant might have been reasonably crowded with the amount of people that were there). Highlights: salad bar with blocks of cheese and fun breads to grab! Also, the mashed potatoes are probably the best of the sides that you can order. Definitely get them. I had the butterfly shrimp(fried), which were done well, arriving with cocktail and tartar sauce, plus a generous amount of lemons. Lowpoint: pricing, although this is understandable, given the types of dishes(steaks and seafood) being served. A fine Camden County/South Jersey establishment, especially for a nice dinner outing, but it seems to be catering to an aging population. I don’t think many young people come here, unless they’re having a family outing.

Driving down the Admiral Wilson Boulevard: Mom: «Where are we going for dinner?» Me: «I don’t know?» Mom: «You live around here. Pick somewhere.» Me: «I’m driving! I don’t know! Uh!» Mom: «You know the area better than I do.» Me: «Um… –sees The Pub ahead and gets lazy– How about The Pub? I’ve never been there.» Mom: «Fine.» What my mother did NOT tell me? I may live nearby, but she’s the one that has this long, intimate history with The Pub. During our visit, I would come to learn that she had actually been there many, many times with HER family and friends growing up. She would travel up to the area from Salem County to go there and a place called Chubby’s that apparently doesn’t exist anymore. She just hadn’t visited in years upon years. and hadn’t thought to visit for some reason. When we walked in, she was awestruck by the fact that the décor hadn’t changed at all. I was shocked by the largeness of its innards, and the fact that it’s really not a pub? I mean, it has a little bar up front, but it’s mostly just a huge, HUGE dining room with an open kitchen, a dark ambiance, lots of wood, and a big salad bar for the taking. It’s beautiful in its own weird way. I’m in my 20’s, and I will say that I was likely the only one of my kind in the place. The clientele appears to have aged with the building — although there were a couple families. We were there on Sunday around 3:45 p.m., and it was quite packed with groups. We were seated at a two-top, served bread and given a pitcher of ice water, and our server quickly came over and offered menu suggestions. He was really honest… and steered me toward the southwest chicken dish and against my original two choices. I wouldn’t have selected this on my own, but I’m glad I got it. It had melted cheddar and bacon on top of grilled chicken. Delicious. It came with the salad bar, which is just awesome. I love salad bars. They are a dying breed! This was an exceptional salad bar, too, and had more bread options. And cheese blocks! My mom hardly looked at the menu, because she knew what she wanted off the bat: her usual… from years ago: baked stuffed shrimp. She bit into one of them and announced, «Yep. It tastes exactly the same.» Now that’s the mark of a good business. So, to sum up, my mom took a major trip down memory lane… mostly because I couldn’t think of a place to eat for dinner and The Pub stood proud at its corner where all the Camco highways merge. We will definitely go back!
