This Christmas my family received an amazing arrangement from here. My Mom is still talking about it and swears it’s the nicest floral arrangement she’s ever received.

Very Disappointed in this florist. 2nd time I used them. First time was Valentine’s Day and they didn’t deliver the flowers until 8pm that night. Second time was for Easter and I ordered two arrangements to be placed in baskets. Well one came in a box. When I called I was told that I received what I ordered. I had to show my order confirmation and then they told me they would call me back. I was then told it was a typing error on their part. I asked if what I received matched what I paid and got no answer. I then wanted a discount for a future order since they made a mistake and was told no. I simply stated that I was not happy with the way this was handled and told sorry. Plenty of other florists in the area. Look elsewhere.

Every Valentine’s day and every birthday I buy my wife flowers from Sansone. The people are friendly and the flowers I get are alway nice. I might say something vague like«lots of purple flowers» and they produce something that meets those stringent requirements spectacularly. Just yesterday during the Valentine’s day crush, I walked in and bought roses. No problems and they were beautiful.

So it’s a week or so out from Valentine’s Day. I decide that I’m going to change up my normal ritual of using the big boys like 1800Flowers, ProFlowers or Teleflora. Not because I had ever, ever had any issues with delivery or quality after years and years of sending flowers this way and not to save money because there was always great prices online but because I was tired of my girlfriend getting flowers in a FedEx box or that need some assembly when they arrive so I decided to keep it local. I’d pay more but I get to help a local small business with over a $ 100.00 order and have a fresh, assembled and unboxed bunch of flowers delivered right around the corner from their shop(I verified with them that they make and deliver their own arrangements) to my girlfriend’s job.(Literally around the corner, 0.4 miles away). We had a snow storm coming Thursday morning 2⁄13 and I recieved a call on Wednesday 2⁄12 asking if I’d like the flowers delivered now just in case the storm is bad on Thursday and my girlfriend could not make it to work the following Friday. I declined as I figured that was plenty of time to dig out from a snow storm that happened 24 hours before she needed to be at work and I was right. The roads were clear and everything was fine for Friday. So here I am at 4:01PM on Friday(Valentine’s Day) and no flowers have been delivered. My Girlfriend works until 5:00PM. I called and they seem to have no idea what’s going on. They asked my name then the delivery address then my girlfriend’s name then put me on hold for 2 minutes then picked up and asked if I had them delivered that previous Wednesday?! I responded nicely with: If I had them delivered 2 days ago I would not be calling right now looking for them. On hold again… «We are going to have to call you back…» So now it’s 4:25PM and I get a return call from Sansone and I am told«They must be on the truck so she should get them shortly». Well guess what arrived at 4:56? Her flowers. she was outside warming up her car to go home when they came. Did I mention the Florist is 0.4 miles from her office? If I didn’t call when I did I am 99% sure her flowers would have never made it there. Come on guys. I just can’t believe a snow storm the day before is to blame for this. It’s Valentine’s Day and you are a professional Florist. How could this have happened when the big boys can always get them there with plenty of time to spare and with no follow up calls from me to get my arrangement delivered. I am very disappointed.
