Have eaten there several times throughout the years. Today was the worst. Ordered tuna. Specifically asked to prepare as rare as possible. The server emphasized that it was sushi grade. It was the worst tuna I have ever had. The table next to us ordered the same and had the same experience. Overcooked. I ate it anyway(lol). We were hungry, had to get back to work and the server didn’t come back until the end anyway. She was«shocked» by my feedback. I explained that a restaurant called Little Tuna should probably learn how to prepare tuna. Service was as good as the meal.

The Little Tuna is excellent. I attended a graduation celebration in their event room and everything was fantastic! Our servers, Joe and Glen, managed our party with professionalism and charm. The food was excellent and everyone had a great time. I can’t wait to go back.

Service… Total fail. My server seemed annoyed mostly and I waited 10 — 15 before she took my order. I was dining alone and there is only one other table in the restaurant. The only smile I received is when she dropped the check. Food was good. As a restaurant manager and prior chef of 10 years in some of the cities top restaurants I tend to pay attention to detail. For the good, I’d come back. Service no thank you. Still I left %20 tip.

The Restaurant is cute and cozy and has a New Orleans style feel to it. For the appetizer, I ordered the Oyster Rockefeller(delicious). The Jumbo lump crab cake was amazing. My husband had the Coconut Crusted Tilapia which was an excellent dish. We received great service from our waiter and was seated right away. However, I was disappointed seeing seasonal vegetables on every plate in the restaurant, it cheapens the whole meal.

I’ve been going to The Little Tuna for a while now, but I’m sad to say I’ve noticed a dip in quality recently. We went earlier this week, and it will probably be our last visit for the foreseeable future. All food was served lukewarm — unacceptable under any circumstances, but especially when the restaurant only had a few tables and was decidedly not busy. Veggies and potatoes that were served with the food were stone cold; crab cakes, while tasty, were barely warm. Appetizer portion of spinach and artichoke dip was similarly lukewarm. My steak did not taste like a top-quality piece of meat(especially not at a price of $ 36). We skipped dessert. Saving grace was the very good service from a friendly, personable waiter. Other than that, it seems like the standards have slipped.

WOW. I usually visit L’Oceano in Collingswood(it’s amazing) when I’m in the mood for great seafood, but I decided to check this place out on a whim… What a HUGE mistake! I had the wasabi ginger tuna starter and the pistachio almond salmon as a main course. The tuna was overcooked and the wasabi looked and tasted like it came out of a squirt tube. The salmon was cooked well, but the«crust» was a disgusting blend of burnt scraps, I had to scrape it off and hopefully it ended up where it initially should have gone, the dumpster. The sub par food was actually passable for me — I’d give it 2.5 stars — and wouldn’t normally waste my time writing a review about mediocrity. What happened next is what really blew my mind — the salmon came with two sides, a broccoli/carrot mix and my choice of a starch, I politely asked my waiter if it would be possible to simply hold the starch — his response was that not only was it not a problem he could actually swap out both regular sides for different veggies if I wanted. I don’t like broccoli so I opted for spinach and and I also swapped the starch for asparagus. ATNOPOINTDIDHEINDICATETHISWOULDCOSTEXTRA. Fast forward to receiving the check — I NOTICEAN $ 18(this isn’t a joke) UPCHARGEFORSUBSTITUTINGVEGETABLESWITHVEGETABLES!!! I quickly got the waiters attention, and asked if he forgot to delete the ridiculous, surprise UPCHARGE from the bill since this was never brought to our attention during the ordering process — his response was pretty epic. «SORRY I DIDNTTELLYOU, I DONTWANTYOUTOTHINK I RIPPEOPLEOFF — I USUALLYTELLEVERYONETHEREISANUPCHARGE — I CANTTAKEITOFFTHEBILL» After more embarrassing, public complaining, the manager agreed to take HALF the surprise up charge off — literally one of the most ridiculous and demeaning dining experiences I’ve ever had. DONOTVISITTHESEDUMPSTERWORTHYFOODSNAKEOILSALESMEN! If you want GREATFOOD — visit collingswood — the lower rents mean they don’t have to literally steal from you by making up charges that were never agreed to by you. I think that’s called theft by deception… Whatever it is, these clowns are masters of it. NEVER — EVER — UNDERANYCIRCUMSTANCE — HATEYOURSELFENOUGHTODEALWITHTHESECROOKS!

HORRENDOUS customer service! EXPERTCONARTISTS! Just finished eating here and I am so compelled to warn other Unilocalers after my negative experience that I am sitting in the car writing this review. The food can be best described as «blah» and«raw». And not raw on items you’d normally consume raw– instead they served my 8oz filet which I ordered medium rare — EXTREMELY rare aka RAW(and at a $ 40 price tag). Some might say«it’s a seafood restaurant” — NO restaurant should be offering steak or any other food item as an option if they do not know how to cook it/serve it to people without putting their health at risk! My boyfriend had the pistachio crusted salmon– aka«blah», OVERCOOKED and very little flavor and would not eat again, ever. NOTHING here was anything special– CONSUMEATYOUROWNRISK! If you thought the negative review stopped here lets get onto the«horrendous customer service» part! We were told by the waiter each entrée came with«broccoli, carrots and your choice of starch.» When I asked if I could sub the starch for another vegetable the waiter said that wasn’t a problem. Then came time for the bill(mind you after I couldn’t even eat the majority of my filet since it was RAW) where we were charged $ 18.00 for the vegetable substitution. EIGHTEENDOLLARS for a SMALL pile of asparagus(probably about 6 pieces in total). If at any point we had been told there was any kind of up charge for the vegetable there is NOWAY I would have ordered it. Very clearly and civilly we told the waiter that he had failed to mention the up charge. To which he insisted he did(He most certainly did NOT!). We then told him that he could either take it off of the bill or see it reflected in the tip. After speaking to the manager he only removed HALF of the eighteen dollar charge. This was beyond insulting– refusing to fully correct their own mistake!!! Who«half way» fixes things– Would you like your doctor to «half way» treat your medical problems or your plumber to «half way» fix your toilet!!! I am so DISAPPOINTED and DISGUSTED in the way this place runs its business!!! I would and WILL strongly advise any friends or family to NEVER come to this restaurant! They clearly don’t value their customers and are very practiced in the art of exploitation.

I’ve been here a few times, they always have a great menu for valentine’s day. Lobster bisque is amazing. Heavy and sweet but chock full of lobster. They have specials at lunch during the week

Took my husband for his birthday we had high expectations. Finer dining tends to be a longer experience but we were there for about 2 hours with about a 30 – 40 minute break between appetizers and dinner. Not ideal for us considering we had a baby at a sitter. But perhaps that’s our fault for thinking timing was longer than expected. Calamari was just okay. Soups were good. My husband’s steak was delicious but I felt my lobster ravioli was just okay and Luke want at best in temperature. Portions on my meal were small considering the price but the steak seemed fair. Our server was okay. One awkward bit was I’m guessing it was the owner or manager reprimanded the 2 gentlemen on the floor for leaving a half used can of soda in an unsanitary area. That soda was more than likely mine because I had a glass. I at that point didn’t drink anymore of it. All in all an okay experience but $ 150 after tip for too and just an okay experience we would t return.

This place was so promising based on the reviews, the cute town, and the décor when we walked in. The three of us ordered salads topped with seafood — which looked like one of their niches based on their menu. The seafood was decent, but the salads were nothing special. The Mediterranean salad was made up of a mix of greens that were past their prime, in fact, so wilted that my friend couldn’t eat it. Bummer! Wish we’d tried another place.

This was a once and done for me. Went there on 10⁄28 for lunch with 6 people. This was a business lunch so time was of the essence. Order was taken by a stereotypical jersey Italian guy. We ordered mussels as an app. 25 minutes later they show up. He then proceeds to take out lunch menu. Time keeps ticking and we ask him if it will be much longer. He gives the we are working on it. Not it will be right up but we are getting there. Time keeps ticking. We are now 1hr 15 minutes in before food is delivered. We put .75 $ into the meter for an 1 ½ hour meter. We needed to put more in. Finally after all discussing to get the check and go back to work the food arrives. Blah. Period nothing more to say. Wraps were bland, soup flavorless and crab sandwich the crab was smaller than a White Castle burger on a full bun. This was the icing on the cake. The waiter now has a complete attitude with us cause we were questioning why took so long. They have fine print on the menu where gratuity is Included with 5 or more. I go to pay and I am only brought back a signature slip, not an itemized receipt. I ask the waiter for it and he gets more annoyed as he’s not going to get a double tip. It was already $ 38 tip on the bill. Looking back as we were the only ones in the place for almost 2 hours, should have been a tell tale sign that the place sucks! Almost two hours to eat a lunch that would have tasted better if it was from Wendy’s. Never again!

Visited this place on a Tuesday evening and the place was empty. Maybe that added to the stark atmosphere. Our waiter, Dom was a dead ringe for Sylvester Stallone, and provided good service. We started with the lobster bisque, which was the star of the meal. The scallops app was delicious. Our tuna dishes, jerk tuna and sesame tuna were just ok, both were overpoweringly spicy hot, and lacked depth of flavor. Although the meal was OK, we didn’t have the kind of experience that we would want to come back.

What a nice and classy little restaurant. I liked the décor with red(my favorite color!) touches and black and white photographs throughout. I had a crab casserole that was nice and cheesy and not greasy on the bottom, like some restaurants tend to do with this type of dish. Our lunches came with small salads, which was a surprise b/c it wasn’t mentioned by our waiter. The staff was friendly enough and the food good enough but something was just missing that I can’t quite put my finger on? I wouldn’t rush back here but would probably go again, although with sooo many other great choices throughout downtown Haddonfield, I’m not sure when!

The Little Tuna is just swimming in with 4 stars. This is due to décor, Byob factor, and moderate prices. The fresh seafood certainly helps out too. It is a nice indoor/outdoor spot on the Main Street in Haddonfield. There were a few items on the lunch menu that caught our eye, and after a little shopping we returned to try it out. Upon entering you are greeted by a kind of oyster bar and fresh fish case(fluke @ $ 14 a lb!) We were seated in the room next to this, and it was a casual and clean monochromatic décor. My gf decided on a baked pasta with crab and asparagus. It was decent, the grass was not overcooked and it had a nice cheese flavor(blend of cheddars) but the crab was not lump, and only added a slight saltiness and seafood flavor to the dish.(more on the crab later) Sides were simply steamed broccoli and carrots, again not overcooked. Decent red skin and garlic mashed potatoes rounded it out. I had to get something with the aforementioned fluke, so I choose a stuffed flounder. The fish was fresh and tasty, broiled in a little tin dish with the same exact sides. Again a cheaper variety of crab came as the stuffing. It did nothing to help or for that matter hurt the dish, but I really wish restaurants would either use good to great crab meat, or not offer it at all. I would not order this again for the reason I just stated. But both dishes came with a very respectable salad, and at $ 16 seemed reasonable enough. With so many other interesting choices in Haddonfield this probably won’t get a return visit from us in the near future. They do feature a 3 course dinner special for $ 19 that I might consider trying after visiting some other spots first. My 4 stars is somewhat a leap of faith for this place. Simple preparations that focus on fresh seafood.

Excellent food! I have had there lobster bisque soup many times and it is delious! You can taste the sherry and seafood in every spoonful. Also have had the crab cakes, spinach salad with the encrusted salmon. Big portions for lunch and salmon is to die for with flavor ! Always consistent in what you order and taste and portion size stays the same every time. Very happy! Plus the staff if polite and awesome!!!

Excellent service & delectable, flavorful food. Staff was helpful & well informed. Not your typical seafood establishment. The variety of seafood entrees made it difficult to make a final decision on what to to order. Looking forward to trying the raw bar on my next visit.

Obtained a Living Social for the Little Tuna and had been wanting to stop by for quite a while now. Our chances, and my crazy work schedule accommodated all factors so I set up a date night with the Mrs. Despite the obscenely grotesque weather, we made it to the locale fortunate enough to obtain a parking space right outside(free street parking on Sundays in H’Field). Walked in a were quickly seated with a little less than half of the restaurant filled. The LS deal came with a pre-set menu, but you’re given the option to order from the a la carte as you wish(normally for the appetizers). We both decided to stick with the pre fixe and start in on our bottle of wine(BYOBBTW). Throughout the night, our server came and went, was briefly seen and rarely heard which was pleasing to me although the Mrs. thought it was a bit lacking in the attention department. Nonetheless, the food started to arrive. The first course was a shared appetizer plate consisting of fried calamari topped with marinated roasted peppers tossed with banana peppers and parmesan cheese(excellent and beautifully cooked). Along side were four chicken pot stickers. The flavor was nice and the universal garlic chili sauce was enjoyable although the dumplings could have used a bit more heat or some time in a sauté pan to crisp up a bit. The third item on the plate was a briefly seared sesame encrusted tuna sliced thinly and served with small ramekins of wasabi and soy sauce. Much to my displeasure, the tuna, although cooked perfectly, had a pre-frozen taste and texture unlike most sushi quality tuna which glistens with ruby red color. I’ll break here to mention that the rolls were also wonderful, warmed gently three to a basket. A miniature baguette had a very tender crust, a round sourdough roll which was tasty but well below SF quality, and a flavorful multigrain roll that was my favorite. The second course option allows you to choose between a spicy black bean and tomato soup(Mrs.) or a spinach salad with poppy seed and bacon vinaigrette(me). The wife enjoyed the soup and liked the crunch of the crispy tortilla shells on top but wished it had been heated a bit more. The salad was quite nice although the execution of the accompaniments could be a bit more refined(giant slices of apple lined the rim of the salad bowl), randomly cut red onion tossed on top and awkwardly wedged tomatoes strewn about with a sprinkle of chopped artichoke hearts and crumbled goat cheese on top. The entrée again gives diners the option to select from shrimp ravioli, pecan crusted grouper or Asian style barbecue pork tenderloin. We both opted for the shrimp ravioli and I think it was an excellent choice. Again, the dish could have been hotter(I think it’s just a matter of the plates being cold before the food gets onto them) but the flavor was enjoyable. The ravioli was filled with a shrimp and cheese mix but could have used a touch less old bay. The garnish topping consisted of perfectly cooked shrimp tossed with a tomato cream sauce. We knew that dessert was coming so we gladly decided to save half to take home. Dessert presented us with another sharing plate consisting of three selections. Bananas Fosters Bread pudding(it’s bread pudding, with bananas. not bread pudding made with banana bread), a very decadent chocolate brownie-cake, and a variation on apple cobbler. All three were garnished with a very rich and sweet caramel sauce and three scoops of vanilla ice cream. Overall we had a great time and a very pleasant meal. The atmosphere and the staff were very courteous. The price for dinner may be a bit much when compared to certain factors of the meal, but online deals definitely make it an affordable choice for those interested in trying something new. Perhaps we’ll come back for lunch the next time we’re in town.

Not sure if this brunch or lunch since it’s 1 o’clock in the afternoon. But good food is good at any time. And my repeat patronage at this restaurant speaks for itself. On today’s visit, I had the Cesar salad with rosemary & ginger sea scallops. I do not need a lot of words to review my meal today. But if I must throw around a few, it was delicious, tasty, wonderful, awesome, savory & downright good. I will be back, without question.
