Went to this shop for the first time today. I am waiting in line, the lady in front of me said to me, if that tall blonde woman says next you go ahead of me, I don’t like her. I found out why. She did not greet me, she was rude and arrogant and said we can’t take this, we can’t take this with an attitude. I grabbed my suits and left. Don’t go to the all blonde!

Although when I first heard about this place, I expected the prices to be at least a small fraction higher than our local Goodwill, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they weren’t. Everything is organized by size and although I have heard that they can be a little picky with donations, it shows. None of the clothes are ratty or stained in the slightest. My boyfriend even bought a brand new pair of Converse low tops for just $ 20. I found three or four pairs of jeans for myself and walked away without spending $ 30. A good friend of mine also bought quite a few outfits for her baby for less than $ 20. Its also notable that this is the only consignment I have ever been to with a clearance section– just an added bonus!

I love this store for finding quality clothes for my teen girls. Lovely dresses and good shoe selection. Not as much for men. Very busy. Some of the items are pricier than I think they should be, but overall, a great place to shop.

My first stop when looking for clothes. Yes, they are VERY picky, but that’s a good thing when shopping there. Prices are phenomenal. Definitely recommend!

Busy consignment shop, huge selection in women’s wear and accessories. Also have clothing for men and children. Racks are getting a little packed. They are extremely picky about clothes, which is GOOD! The selection process at the counter varies, it seems it really depends who you get but I believe this to be the nature of the beast. Negatives: Their acceptance hours VERY are limited, its very difficult to get there if you work the day shift! ONE day available for acceptance past 4pm is not enough. ALSO, payment to your clients should NOT be bi-monthly. Still MUCH better than any other consignment shop I have used.

Busy consignment shop, huge selection in women’s wear and accessories. Also have clothing for men and children. The selection for boys clothes is usually picked over. I have both bought and sold clothes at Act II, and overall my experience has been OK. They are extremely picky about children’s clothes, and I have had many of my son’s trousers refused due to slight fraying of the hems. The selection process at the counter varies and is inconsistent, it seems it really depends who you get whether the clothes you bring in will be accepted or not. Plus: You’ll find a good selection and for the most part everything smells clean. Negatives: Their acceptance hours are limited, and it seems like they tend to overprice items just because they are name brand. There is usually a wait for the single fitting room available, and the racks tend to be overcrowded making it difficult to flip through the clothes.
