Eh. This place is just okay. I love mexican food, but I wasn’t very impressed with this place. I got the chicken tacos, but they lacked flavor. There’s another one in Frederick that I’ll probably try out and see if I like it better.

Very good! Food is great, came in with the family and got 2 chicken fajitas to share. Nice portions, plenty of food. Came with red & green peppers, onions, beans, rice, etc. Food came out nice and hot. The chicken was a tiny bit spicy(for us) but it was good. Our server(Austin) was very attentive and friendly. The manager/owner came over to check how we liked the food, and we told him how the chicken was a bit spicy so he made us some non– spice chicken and it was great. He bent over backwards for us and it was very nice. Very nice guy, friendly and upbeat. Service is great, and nice atmosphere. Definitely enjoyed the experience, will be back! If in the area, stop by!

I ate here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The place was clean. The staff was friendly and most importantly the food was very good along with being reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.

Tried this place for the first time tonight, been driving by them for some time and thought I would change up my usual Mexican place. When asked for a few moments to look at the menu, we waited 10 minutes for our server to return. Not a big fan of the chips and salsa, most of the chips were broken(bottom of a bag?) salsa pretty bland, I added ghost pepper sauce to mine to add some heat and flavor. Had the«supreme fajita.» which had good flavor. My pet peeve is I had three 6 inch tortilla to try to stuff all the shrimp/steak/veggies into. At best you can get half of the fajita in three that size. I asked for 3 more tortillas which they brought me, but it took over 5 minutes as my food got cold. Over all it was okay but there are other Mexican restaurants in town. All in all, may go back, but would not make special plans to go either.

Fantastic food and service. The shrimp Diablo is out of this world! Everything is fresh made including the Salsa. Love this place and recommend it for lunch and dinner.

I’ve always been a fan of the Fajita Grande in Frederick. I always make the trip from chambersburg to Frederick when I’m In town from NYC so I was happy to see there is another location closer to home! The owners of these two locations are father and son, who run a great family business. Without fail, I always get the chicken fajitas and they never ever disappoint. You have to try these! Also, they have a really great spicy green salsa if you request it.

By far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Excellent service, and excellent food. Best burritos and chili rellenos around. Also one of the least expensive restaurant options. You will not leave hungry.

Not that bad a place, nothing that shouts you must eat here either though! First time in ages that we had to wait for a table, so the place is popular, but there again so are the cookie cutter chain places in Washington county. The food came in huge quantities, so you can not deny that you get your monies worth here. They do commit the cardinal sin of using sweet & sour mix in their cocktails. Please no! Use lemon juice, line juice just please not the artificial crap that s sweet n sour. Also their knifes & forks are the cheapest flimsiest things possible. You can wow a local red neck by doing a Uri Gellar trick, as they will bend that easily. No sorry I think I prefer El Paso for Mexican in town.

Very possibly the best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted! Everything is fresh and delicious. I wish they would open up a location nearer to where I live. I don’t get to Hagerstown very often but when I do I’ll be returning here!

One of the best Mexican places in Hagerstown espically for lunch. Handles the rush very well and didn’t have to wait, not to mention the price of only 4.99 $. I reccomend everyone to try this place. Second time coming and always leave satisfied and full. Tamales are the best and their horchata is to die for .!

We’ve been to the other Mexican places in town, El Ranchero, El Paso 2& La Tolteca, but this place by far was better. A lot of comparisons to the other 3 in different aspects(appetizer, entrée, etc) but this place was top notch all the way around. They don’t make the guacamole at your table but it was very fresh & flavorful. If I had ONE negative thing to say, the silverware wasn’t much above plastic. Thought I was gonna break my fork. Aside from that, I would most definitely go back and would recommend to anyone.

We often go here for lunch. Great price for the best mexican food in Hagerstown. about 12 lunch specials at $ 4.99. Tonight we went for dinner. Once again it was so good. The staff is friendly. We had a burrito and chimichanga dinners. The desserts are light and incredible. The flan was homemade and the best. We will be back.

Tried this place for the first time. Portions are very generous, food was delicious. The staff was very friendly, although the night we were there, they seemed understaffed. Definitely recommend the chicken tamales and flautas.

Portion of steak fajitas was generous tasty without use of much salt and very easy toeat the steak not chewy but cooked quite well. Service friendly and salsa fresh and not the typical bottled glop. It was not watery only suggestion made was bit more heat in the food especially the chile relenos

In at the busiest time(6pm). A bit disorganized. Bar is really nothing to speak of(no bartender and only 3 seats). Restaurant was packed so I was mildly optimistic. Server apologized for crazy pace and promptly got me chips and a beer after about 10 mins of wait. Salsa was not very spicy(I like it hot) and chips reminder me of Doritos out of a bag. However, the entrée shredded beef burrito, beans, rice, sour cream and guacamole was excellent. A real value at $ 6.99! Later the manager came over and apologized and pointed out he was short staffed. All and all if the initial service was better and the chips more authentic I would have given it a 4 – 5 star rating. Definitely willing to try it again!

Okay I’m hoping that the owners take this review and put it to use. I’m going to do another review in approximately a month and see if they take in the advice to heart because this is important. When you go for authentic Mexican food one would wish to have authentic Mexican cheese. One of our party had a hair and her quesadilla. The waiter was horrified and promise to make it up to us on our next visit so I have to give him kudos for that. The stuffed jalapenos — these were the most redeeming dish of the entire meal. They were huge, well done and satiating. The Quesa dip — I would like to revisit this in the hopes that they would use authentic cheese. The cheese that used was mostly like cheddar. The grilled veggie quesadilla — I was hugely excited for this and equally as disappointed. While I’m not against using broccoli in a quesadilla but the fact that it was overdone and again the cheese was surprisingly close to craft cheese out of the bag just made it okay. Wasn’t amazing wasn’t terrible just disappointing. I’m sincerely hoping to have a better experience next time is the staff was very pleasant, friendly and attentive.
