New Balance Factory Store

Isaiah was awesome!!! He went above and beyond to help me find shoes!!! Thank you so much isaiah!!! I have a hard time finding shoes because of my planter fishitis he spent about 45 minutes with me. He explained the different types of sneakers and how the fit would work with my foot. He was amazing!!!

I stopped in on the way back from a work assignment, after having had a very bad experience attempting to buy New Balance shoes from a sporting goods store. I walked into the store, and found that it was well organized, and had great people working. The young man who approached me was polite, helpful, but not overbearing. I picked up two pairs of shoes (same model, one pair in white and one in black and as I was walking to the front the same young man came over to ring me up.
He did so quickly and efficiently, and I actually got a discount, so paid much less than I expected. If I had purchased the shoes at the sporting goods store, they were on sale for $ 60 a pair. Here I got the same shoes for $ 85 for both pair, a savings of $ 35.
I cannot recommend this store highly enough, it was as close to a perfect experience as it gets.

I read the previous reviews and decided to give this store a try. We live locally. It was a great experience. Mike spent at least a half hour with us, watching me walk and offering suggestions for how to deal with my problem of pronation. I came out of there with two pairs of shoes, both of which felt better than anything I have had on my aching feet in over a year. I double checked the prices against my usually online source and found that I was saving over $ 20 per pair by buying them here. And on top of that, we got an additional discount for being members of AAA. It was a definite LIKE.

I’m not a sporty girl, so I only went in because my husband was on the hunt for some athletic man-​stuff and flipflops.
Couldn’t find either. Or I should say… he did find both, but they cost about the same as if we went to Sports Authority or Modells. No real discount… so not sure what the big deal is?

My gf and I drove out to the Hagerstown outlets specifically for this store. We both have troubled feet, but it was her turn to get new shoes. She recently had custom made orthodics made and has to make sure they will fit into the footbed of the shoe. (Making it more difficult to buy online like I used to do.)
The store was staffed with about four employees– all eager to help. They were always asking how we were doing and were quick to offer specific models for our purposes. They’d put back shoes that were «no goes» as well (but I tend to do that myself). If we wanted to, they would’ve measured her foot, but we had just had that done elsewhere.
Pricing is really really good. I checked pricing at their store vs other online retailers for the same models and they were exactly the same or less money.
We LOVED this store because they have a GREAT selection of wide width shoes, which is a necessity for us.
In addition to the regular shoes, they have a back wall of further discounted shoes, some athletic clothing and shoe care products.
As I said, the staff was extremely helpful. They even cut the tags off of the shoe so my gf could wear them out of the store!
We got two pairs of shoes for $ 85 total after tax! We will DEFINITELY make the drive up here for more shoes!
