They were out of snow crab legs! I repeat Red Lobster had no snow crab legs! They were willing to replace on the Ultimate feast with inferior king crab legs but not a lobster tail because it is more expensive than snow crab legs. The point is the customers where the ones who were inconvenienced and not a lot was done to make it right nor did any of the servers seem very apologetic or helpful. That was the reason we went there. They had to drive to the Chambersburg store to get more and said it would take over an hour. Things happen, but having no crab legs is like Outback having no steak. It was a disappointing experience since I go there only about twice a year.

This particular Red Lobster has really gone downhill over the last few years. I just returned from a birthday dinner there and the overall experience was not so great. It started with the hostess that was seating us. She took so long at the stand that at first I thought perhaps she didn’t hear us and then when she finally did lead us to our table she moved so slow that I actually looked down to see if she was wearing a cast. Our server was not bad but not overwhelmingly good. I would give her about a 3 on a five star scale. The food was about about a 2. We ordered a starter because we had a coupon. It was the calamari and vegetables which has been a favorite of mine for years. This time it was very greasy and chock full of overfried bits of dough. My wife ordered the popcorn shrimp which she had no complaints with and I had the Admirals Feast which is supposed to come with fried fish and bay scallops. The fish was not on the plate when it was delivered to the table and kudos to the server for realizing this immediately. She got the fish to me quick enough and we proceeded to eat our meal. The server did check on us from time to time but I thought she was a bit slow overall. We paid our bill and did not realize until we were on the way home that the bay scallops had not been on the plate. There is enough fried stuff with that meal anyway but when you pay for something you should get it. All of these things combined are why I’m only giving the place two stars overall. You need to step up your game Red Lobster, there was a time when I would have given this location at least 4 stars but not now.

This is, without a doubt, the best Red Lobster I’ve been to. Regardless of when we arrive, whether it be at 2:00 for lunch or 6:30 on a Friday night, we’re always seated within 15 minutes, if there’s even a wait at all. The food is always spot on and the service can’t be beat. The wait staff is always knowledgeable of the menu and eager to offer suggestions. They’ve always made sure our drinks are filled and table is cleared when needed. Such a nice change from other chain restaurants. We’ll definitely be back.

The 2 stars are for the manager who took care of me when we stopped for lunch to take out… app was coconut shrimp… we had to turn the car around and take them back their raw shrimp! I suggested a dessert and hr told the staff to wrap it up, no charge. He should have offered… I got cheesecake with strawberries… rmy new car only to have strawberry juice dripping out of the container in my car, on my clothes, on my new coach bag… Grrrr… The lobster pizza was blah… and still I was nice! I won’t be bak.
