Sonic

This Sonic was very average. I came during happy hour for an iced tea and sat in the drive thru for probably 10 minutes before being served even though there was only one car in front of me. Otherwise, the drink was good and the employee at the window was friendly enough!

We just visited this sonic. They didn’t bring my apple slices with my order. Already drove away. Too late. The only healthy thing on menu.
And the seasoned popcorn chicken is awful. We got honey BBQ. It’s like a cup of powder dumped on a tray of chicken. And the powder doesn’t taste like honey or BBQ.

This place is gross. I have seen staff taking turns puffing on some kind of cigarette from some sketchy character behind the dumpster. Makes me wonder what goes on inside the place.

Great, fast service. Awesome milkshakes and cherry limeade. I don’t often get food items here, but the tater tots are good.

Where do i begin? After a long day at the orioles game decided to stop for a smoothie. We pulled in theres no where to park. Turned around and finally found a place. Order our food and WAITED 20 MINUTES for two milkshakes! She almost gave us someone else food too! Then, the told us the wrong total and had to come back for more money. After all this i was excited that it was over and i had my milkshake. NOPE! I ordered a strawberry cheesecake milkshake. They were half melted and mine was so sour i had 2 sips and threw it away. Im just disappointed and WILLNOT be back.

I love Sonic and am happy to have one in an area I’m through often. Treat yourself to my favorite — a cherry limeaide, and go during happy hour (2 – 4 p.m.) for a half-​price Route 44 size. Warning: this location seems particularly slow, especially the drive-​thru.

Place truly sucks. Food is mediocre, a horrible wait on drive thru orders. The hot dog buns are basically mushy liquid when you finally get to them. Not even worth one star in my opinion, if you’re going to serve food, make sure it’s hot and at least appetizing.

Nothing like a Sonic for an unplanned road trip to Kentucky. But they’re great for planned trips too! Conveniently located off the interstate, this location has plenty of parking stalls and offers a drive-​thru. Park to the right upon entering and the restrooms are located on that side of the building.
The bacon pretzel cheese dog is the bomb but get it without onions unless you want to scare away people. ;)

The Hagerstown Sonic location is a little on the mediocre side. My breakfast burrito was served at room temperature. The bight side is that at least the tater tots were served hot!

This place is horrible. I waited over 20 minutes after ordering and they didn’t even get the order right. But we were so hungry and didn’t feel like waiting more. They need to decrease their wait time. We did the drive thru instead of waiting in the regular. car lanes but I am not sure how much that matters. On top of everything this was our first overall sonic experience. and we probably won’t be back.

This place is terrible!!! Sonic is usually really good, but this place served trash. The food was ice cold and was WAY over cooked. Save yourself and don’t go here. It’s disgusting.

For whatever stupid reason I went back… Their $.99 drink special got me in the morning. There was one lady in front of me also taking advantage of the drink special with 4 drinks. It still took 7 minutes before I got my drink. No one else was there. Just the two of us. And it took me 8 minutes to get a drink. I will not be back this time because of the cleanliness of this place. The guy handling the dirty money picked up the limes and the cherry for my limeade with his filthy bare hands. Disgusting,

I came here with a few friends back when they were first opening. We waited well over an hour after ordering, NO exaggeration, until we pressed the button to see what on earth was up. It turns out they had lost our order after confirming it with us and we had been waiting all this time for nothing. They offered to re-​take the order and said NOTHING of it being complimentary as amends for our wasted time, and I promptly declined. I thought this was ridiculous and contacted Sonic only to be told «thank you for your feedback» and nothing else. I have never returned and they have lost countless orders and business from me in addition to my admonishing others to AVOID this place. If they had simply apologized and offered something such as a free meal for future visit as recompense they would have made back the loss that was precipitated by THEIR mistake 10x over. Disorganized and could use some new management.

This place is horrible! Came here during the Memorial Day weekend. Ordered and waited for 45 minutes… still no food so we just left! :(

I heard the hotdogs were good. I got the cheese steak. I mind as well could have gotten the same thing in the frozen aisle at the grocery store. It had the same pale, pasty hoggie bread with the freeze-​dried flakes of steak «meat.»

Two words Jalapeño Poppers!
30 odd different shakes even god forbid Bacon!
Not the best place to build the place, right on the niter sections of two of Hagerstown’s busiest roads. I’m sure it catches the passing motorist.
To those who give it one star. It’s fast food what do you really expect?

People need to re-​think some reviews and start thanking some lucky stars that there even is a Sonic in their area! Some people are not so lucky…
I stumbled across this Sonic by accident and I really think this couldn’t be a more dangerous situation but I am so happy about it! We were heading back from the Smithsburg/​Hagerstown area to Frederick and WHAT??? a Sonic!!!
Yes. A Sonic.
Ahhhmazing! It totally negated everything I thought was true and had known. Prior to this little discovery I thought our closest Sonic was the eastern shore or when I made road trips down south! This is quite the little gem.
First off Sonic’s menu is so extensive and blows away all other fast food restaurants. Plus, you can get breakfast anytime of day.
It was a shame that we were so full when we found it that all I could manage to order was a milkshake, but spoiler alert… you can add bacon to your milkshake. Wonderful.
Congratulations Hagerstown, you are very lucky to have this Sonic! Hoping one pops up in Frederick soon!

I can’t resist Sonic. I’m going to be in a lot of trouble if they ever open one in Frederick. Their slushy drinks and anything fried (especially their onion rings) are freaking awesome. Somebody told me they use soft-​serve ice cream in the batter. I’m not sure if that’s true, but there’s some magical ingredient that makes them irresistible.

My new favorite spot for a nice day for lunch! Had the plain burger combo and a chocolate shake for desert! Everything was delicious! Ask for extra napkins :)
