Tranquility Salon and Day Spa

I was a client here for about 1.5 years total. I was FIRED as a client because my hairdresser couldn’t get my hair right. I never made a big deal about it. After paying $ 200+ with a certain end result in mind, I left with the most God awful, brassy orange hair I’ve ever seen. When I called a few days later, I just said very politely that this was not what I requested and could it be fixed. I even had a picture. It’s not like I just described it incorrectly. So because my «fabulous» stylist was booked, I saw someone who was free and instead of redoing my hair to be the way I wanted it, I tried to make it easy on them! I said just make me brown again. Hair was still brassy. Again, didn’t make a stink. When I called to set up my next appointment weeks later, I was told Farrah would no longer work with me and that the Salon stands by their stylists. It’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard. You are in the business of customer service. When working in customer service, the talent should be larger than the ego. It’s unfortunate because this particular stylist cost Meghan and Suzanne, who were always awesome to me, a loyal client as I’d never give my business to someone who conducts business in this manner. They also lost my Mom as a client and I tell everyone about my experience when they talk about going here. If you do decide to give them the business, Suzanne is awesome and Meghan is great for cuts.

My mom and I got gel manicures together here as a Christmas gift. The staff is wonderfully friendly and professional. The manicure lasted 2 weeks for me with no chips, and my mom’s is going strong into her THIRD week.
You definitely get what you pay for here.

This salon really emphasizes stylist training. Book with Sharon Wright if you can. She’s super experienced, takes enormous pride in her work, and isn’t happy unless you are skipping out the door.

Always a lovely experience at Tranquility. Danielle is a mastermind at hair and color. She saved my damaged hair a few years ago from a different salon/​stylist. Everyone is friendly and I like that the salon keeps up with new products and phases out old ones. I’ve also had makeup application and a facial. Go get pampered!

Had a pregnancy massage with Laura F tonight. It was awesome! Thankfully it was not a wimpy massage just bc it was a pregnancy massage. She was really thorough and took the time to work on the areas that have been bothering me. The room was very comfortable. The table actually kind of reclines which I really liked-​lying flat on my back is something I don’t really like about regular massages. The table did not have a belly cut-​out though which I thought would’ve been nice since I miss laying on my stomach! But she made me very comfortable on my side. One other thing I thought was a little weird was that there was definitely a lack of places to put your clothes, shoes etc.

Really happy with this salon! I came to a friends house for a weekend away from NYC and decided I had to cut off all my hair that day. Nicole listened to my concerns of cutting all my hair off and told me what would work best for me and went as far as to show me what it would look like. Super helpful. My friend and I both got 20 dollars off our styles, me for being a new client and her for referring a new client! Great deal and everyone has been raving about my hair cut.

Today was my first and DEF won’t be my last! I fell in love with this place! MUST SEE JONATHAN! I walked out of there feeling amazing! Such a clean and well decorated place and the staff is the most friendly!

Great experience. All staff is friendly and helpful. Salon is clean and neat. They offer a ton of great services and run a couple of them on special. Got a great haircut from Emily. Highly recommend.

This was my first visit and I am thrilled with my pedicure by Kate I. and my eyebrow was by Alexandra. Both ladies were lovely and I enjoyed chit chat with them both. Kate is meticulous and gives a superb pedicure. Alex listened to what I wanted for my brows and gave me the perfect shape. They accept SpaFinder gift cards so I was able to use the card I’ve had for quite some time. I will definitely be back!!!

I live in NYC and I only trust Emily at Tranquility for haircuts and especially dyes. She does an amazing ombré and the prices are great, especially compared to how expensive it is in the city.

I have gone here before (facials, waxing, massage) and have been pleased with my experiences. However after receiving a gift certificate for Christmas I went in for a prenatal massage and it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. The masseuse was very nice but it didn’t seem as though she had done a pregnancy massage in awhile.

I had a full body Swedish massage here using the 50 minutes for $ 45 deal and wow! What a deal?! The masseuse, Nicole, was marvelous. We had a brief conversation before we got down to business, where I could let her know why I came in, and any issues I was having. The private room was beautiful, with a heated bed, clean sheets, and soft music and lighting. Overall I could have spent my entire day in there. Nicole made sure that I was comfortable the entire time, and was super personable and friendly. The service at the front desk was very professional and warm. The receptionist was very patient with me to find the perfect appointment time. Tranquility lives up to its name! I will definitely be going back for another massage.

I was pleasantly surprised when I ran in one morning for an emergency blowout. Hayley was sweet and professional and most importantly did a great job with my crazy curly hair. Will be back when I’m in the area!

On ⁸⁄₂₉ I treated myself to a long overdue massage, using a gift certificate from my coworkers. I have had massages before, but had never been to Tranquility. What a great experience!
I walked in to the really nicely decorated salon and spa, and was immediately impressed. The salon and spa are separated by the waiting area for the salon, and a small shopping area with clothing and accessories, even some of the fun and funky hair chalk. They offer water with oranges or lemons (I could not tell) for all clients while waiting and will even bring you coffee and tea as requested.
I checked in with the lady at the desk, and after she explained the services to me, she ushered me in to the «quiet room» which is playing serene music and is far enough that you do not hear the noises from the salon. My masseuse, Christine was very friendly and I immediately felt comfortable with her.
I opted for the Aromatherapy massage, with peppermint being my choice of essential oils. The massage table was covered in a soft heated padding, which was bonus point # 1. The massage started with my back, and when she was done she covered by back with a heated and weighted pad. When she initially told me about all the heated stuff, I was worried it would be too much, as I get hot easily. However, it was perfect and I melted right in. They also use hot, wet towels on your lower back, hands and feet which was very nice and something I had not had done in prior massages, but found it very enjoyable. That was bonus point #2. Typically I find that during a 50 minute massage times flies by and it is over before you know it, but this seemed to go on forever, and I was NOT complaining!
Bonus point #3 for me, was the tip station — which allows you to tip anonymously. Trust me, I gave her the tip she deserved and I can not wait to schedule my next appointment with Tranquility. They also have a location in Voorhees.

My mom and I got the slice of Serenity spa package which includes a Massage, Facial, Mani and Pedi. It also included lunch too. It was defiantly worth money. They all took their time and really made us feel amazing. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. It was such a relaxing experience. Everyone was so nice and friendly! I would defiantly recommend it to anyone. I can’t wait to go back!

Started coming here a few years ago and really like it. Everyone is super nice and the prices are reasonable. Alicia is awesome ! She never makes me feel bad when I walk in with uneven bangs or bad color. She’s a great «fixer». Apparently I have super confidence in my ability as a hair stylist. No matter how many times I swear I won’t do it… I do.

The ONLY place I will go for waxing and massage. They are pricey when it comes to color, hair, and nails so I usually go down market for this, but I have seen customers leave with fabulous cuts and color (my hair grows so fast — needs to be dyed every 2 weeks; I chip my nails because of my handsome Seamus and his love for playing catch so there is no point spending that kind of money). ALL of their waxers are skilled, I usually go to Jillian — I’ve probably had everyone wax me (ha ha that sounds so weird) and there is minimal discomfort and none of that bumpy, rashy nonsense that tends to occur afterwards.

This is a superior spa… I highly recommend it for any of your needs. They are extremely accommodating, polite, and overall, it will be a relaxing, enjoyable experience. I was in there one day this summer (my husband got me a spa day for my birthday because he knows how much I love it there) and a bridal party was in there getting hair, nails, makeup — the works — and I could see how well they were treated despite having such a large party there.

I was introduced here by my best friend. The place is very clean and well organize. I love the L’Oreal products they have. I go to Alex and he is an excellent hair stylist! You should try the place. I haven’t tried the spa though
