Aloha Buggies

Sooo… where do I start… the aloha dune buggy tour was the utmost BEST thing my girlfriend and I did on our trip to Hawaii! We did the driving tour and I have to say… it was GREAT! We saw so many breath taking views of the ocean, nature preserves, turtles, baby whales (we definitely got lucky with the whales) along with other great sites! Matt, our tour guide, was super friendly, super funny, very knowledgeable about the island knowing where all the hot spots were and just simply fantastic! The dune buggy was really fun to drive with the top off. The buggy has Bluetooth connection to your phone so we were jammin’ the entire ride up and down the north shore! The manual transmission (5 speed) and larger tires made the ride feel rugged and fun! Overall, if i could rate this 10 stars, I would! This is an excursion that I would definitely recommend to all of our friends and family who come visit the island! Thanks again Matt for a great adventure!

WOW and AWESOME!!! Theses buggies are so much fun and Matt the owner is one of a kind. We rented a buggie for the day and was very nervous about where to go but Matt made our adventure so much better with a map and even gave us his cellphone number to call anytime if we got lost. What a great company to go above and beyond to make sure we saw and did everything we wanted too with knowing he was in our pocket to help. We would very highly recommend renting one of these and will do it again if we ever come back to Honolulu. So glad we made a new friend in Honolulu, Kudos to Matt!!!

Great tour ever! Matt was so helpful and even on rainy day he still made the trip great as usual.

When i met the owner Matt he was very helpful and steered me in the right direction on where to go and off I went. I drove this thing for a good part of the day and only spent about $ 13 in fuel! GOOD TIMES!!! I will be renting again for the off road tour they offer on the north shore before I leave Hawaii.
If you are looking for something fun to drive around for a day I highly recommend this!

We called here yesterday and unfortunately could not book the tour but they offered us to just rent the buggies for a couple hours which sounded good at first. When we went to go meet them we had no idea they didn’t have a store and would have to do all paperwork and things in just a parking lot we met at. Took quite awhile just to get on the road. On the phone the lady told us it was $ 94 with the mandatory insurance but was told it wasn’t included when we got there. They didn’t even like have a map or anything to show us where to go which we thought they should. They just wrote down some spots to go on a piece of paper. The insurance they make you buy is ridiculous because you have to buy it and it only covers anything after you payout $ 2500 if something were to happen. So basically it’s a $ 2500 deductible which is just dumb. The buggies didn’t run good at all and we were told we couldn’t go off road after we got there. The main reason for only 2 stars is the guy was asking us if we wanted any suggestions for other activities on the island. I did want suggestions and he said he would email me some which he never did. I own a small business too and understand you can get busy but don’t offer things if your not going to do it. The couple that helped us were nice but we were not at all happy and felt our day was wasted. Hope they improve things over time.

Heather and Matt are awesome tour guides. So nice and funny. Loved the tour and going to see all the sites. My fav was turtle beach and the waterfall they took us to see. Great all day tour around north shore. Definition would tell people to check it out. I liked how they talked a little about each stop we did and told us about the different films and movies that were filmed at certain places. Also liked that we stopped at the shrimp trucks to try it out for lunch. Great time with them.

I live on the North Shore and was super excited to take my 85yr old grandmother out on these and we had the best time ever. Mike and Heather went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable experience for the both of us. Can’t wait to enjoy this with local friends and mainland guest:-)

WOW! These vehicles rock! These are the perfect way to experience Hawaii. We cruised around the island with the top down… It doesn’t get much better than that. Driving these things turns heads as if you were driving a Ferrari. The service from renting to returning was EXCELLENT. 5 stars all the way. Definitely recommend checking these guys out over the other rental options

It’s was an awesome birthday gift from Jo (bday girl too) and her hubby Danny. We had such a great time going around the island catching all the attention because it’s something new on the street. I would do it again. Hopefully there are other colors/​models. A tad scary with the off road tires. but over all it was fun and new for me. For sure sending friends towards your way Aloha Buggy’s!

It was my first time to go around the island with this cool buggy. It was fun and people all look at us and asking where did we get this cool buggy. Matt and his wife are very cool we rented the dune buggy with our friend for my birthday for four hours and we drove from Haleiwa to Sandy’s beach. It’s a cool birthday gift!!!

We had an awesome time! Highly recommended and great for zipping around from town and over to the beach or the trails. Its owned and operated by a couple from Texas who were super proffesional and were able to sudgest a couple choice places to check out while there. We had a blast!

Great Fun… Good price!!. Best way to experience the north shore! Recommend this to everyone!!!

Went out on the buggy today! It was SO much FUN. We took a beautiful ride along Northshore and Keana point.
My husband and I had a blast :)
