Great store on the main street running through Haleiwa Town, across fromTabora Gallery. Lots of sea-themed items and local Hawaiian items too. Enjoyable to browse through the store because every nook and cranny and surface is covered with interesting items for sale. If you look hard enough, you come away with a treasure or two!

Super cute store! I go in there for eye candy. It’s a nice place with nice décor. I buy a lot of small gifts there. Especially for stocking stuffers.

This is store is fantastic. Is FULLLL of fun things to look at. Nothing in here is like the junk you find at the ABC store. It’s prices are similar to prices in the CA bay area. They items are lovely. My dad bought my little girl the most beautiful hand made mermaid doll. Just looking at the doll you know it’s one of a kind. It’s something I will pass on to her kids. It was $ 36 but the way I look at it is it’s ART! I wish I did not have my kids with me. They were super friendly to us but my kids are at the grab and break stage of life. Lots of very cool one of a kind items. They should open a store n Ko’ Olina.

What a cute store! This is a consignment shop of locally-made home goods, jewelry, art and more. I wanted one of everything… You can tell that the friendly store owner loves her shop and her artists — every piece has a story or interesting fact. Absolutely worth checking out when you’re in Haleiwa.

Very high prices but super cute gifts and specialty items, sea glass, shell rings, bath salts, handmade organic soaps and lotions and all kinds of beautiful handmade décor made of natural matierals. Great service and energy in that place!

Locally made artisanal jewelry, crafts and art. I love this store! the owner is charming and so helpful! I bought a one of a kind pearl ring that I LOVE and have already gotten a TON of compliments on! This is absolutely the place to go if you want to buy yourself or a loved one something unique, thought out and truly special. This is NOT a touristy trinkety store.

I love this little shop. It is so cute and I love pretty much everything within the store. I won’t lie it is a bit pricey — likely priced for tourists who are a bit more willing to drop the money on the product. That being said — I would definitely shop here for things for my own home, I would just have to save up for it. Or convince my hubby that it is worth the splurge. The lady who is in the store(I believe the owner) has always been so nice to us each time we wander in. She is so friendly and chatty. Every time I’m up in the North shore area I try to work in a stop here.

Kai Ku Hale is a wonderful shop with it’s own unique flavor– a mixture of imports and local goods. It is very Hawaiiana meets vintage asia but all somewhat modernized and fresh. The arrangement and décor is superb. Kai Ku Hale is decidedly a femmine store– all the women I know love it.

I’m sorry but — no. The items are beautiful and are priced for the unsuspecting tourist who is willing to drop a lot of $$$ to bring a bit of Aloha back. And most of the stuff is actually made in the Philippines. I was reading tags people. Sure they do carry some local made items as well. And I have no problem buying local… in fact, I prefer it. I just will never do it here. Why? Because the dumb women who work there were rude and snobby. I get the haole tourist thing a lot. I’m white so therefore, I must be a tourist… but sorry. I’m local. So when I get the«Where you visiting us from»? I love saying, «Pearl City». « Oh you are military»? — Again, no sorry. And the two women who asked were haole too! But as soon as I said I was local and just looking around, they stopped talking to me. Big mistake to write me off because I actually have a bit of a shopping problem and prob. would have spent some money in there. I asked how much a small green woven basket was and the response I got was the woman sizing it up then looking at me and saying $ 29. Did she just price me based on looks? Other things have price tags on them! You can’t just look for the price in your inventory book? Or is that how your business works? You make potential customers feel really awkward? Locals don’t buy as much as tourists so you write them off?

«Green Style Island Living: Hawaiian Art, Home Décor & Gifts.» Nancy was very nice when we wandered into her store and had really great customer service — very helpful and friendly yet not at all pushy. She let us know that all the artists are from Hawaii. It’s a beautiful store with beautiful products. Not sure if it’s mainly tourists who shop here(things are quite pricey) but I get that the items are made by local artisans so who am I to argue with prices? Just know that it’s definitely not cheap. I found, however, really cute ornaments for $ 12/each. My friend bought a great necklace for $ 35.If I could and money was no object, I would decorate most of my home with pieces found here.
