Delicious! My new favorite acai bowl spot! They offer both acai and pitaya! Both were amazing! The acai itself was super smooth and not chunky. The granola wasn’t too heavy and the honey added a touch of sweetness! I added strawberries and peanut butter to mine. It was a great balance of sweet and tart.

Had an Acai bowl, added some peanut butter, strawberries and blueberries. It was fine, nothing to write home about though. I wouldn’t go back given the price and other options available in the area. $ 10 bowl + $ 3 addons + tax and tip, $ 16 Acai bowl, ouch.

4 stars because their brigadeiro dessert is the most delicious and I’ll always stop here while going around the island. It would’ve received 5 if there were other trucks where I live selling their delicious food. I live in waianae so I only get my brigadeiro fix when going around the island. Highly recommend this dessert

This place is awesome! I passed it up for years and I finally tried an acai bowl. It was terrific and they gave great customer service. We went back about 6 times for a bowl. It is very refreshing and tasty. It’s like nothing I have ever tried before. The food was a delicious snack size. I didn’t take a picture because as soon as I got it I was eating it.

My favorite to go place for Acai bowls, and traditional pastels. The owner is awesome, and the foods are delicious.

Pricey at $ 10 for a pitaya bowl but it’s delicious and fresh so I didn’t mind. They have other options like wraps that are cheaper too. Best thing I’ve had since I got to Oahu and great to take to the beach.

Best bowls I’ve had in a very long time. I’ve been to the ns several times and have never tried crispy. Place is delicious. I got an acai bowl added peanut butter and strawberries. Delicious. My gfs got a pitaya bowl and added granola. Will be back every time I’m here. Super fresh and amazing staff.

This review is based on the service, food quality, and overall experience. For reference I ordered: Pitaya bowl and an iced coffee. Service: Super! We had a wonderful woman take our order! She was very pleasant and personable. The bowl came out in about 5 – 7 minutes with my iced coffee. 5⁄5 Food: Delishhh! We have never had a pitaya bow so we were not sure what we were getting. Being the adventurous couple that we are decided to go for it. It was completely worth it and so refreshing. The layers were pitaya, granola, bananas, and we added blueberries on top. So fresh and so tasty! My iced coffee was also pretty good, definitely fresh! This is a good pit stop if you are every craving some fresh/sweet natural food! 5⁄5 Experience: Pretty good! There are picnic tables you can sit and eat from once you pick up your food. Or you can walk across the street to the beach and kick back. They offer great choices for your acai or pitaya bowls, I give this truck two thumbs up 5⁄5 I would absolutely recommend Crispy Grindz to anyone in the area. Food is fresh and coffee is good! Stop here for a refreshing surprise!

Acai bowls are great, but coxinha is completely amazing! Tastes like a chicken pot pie ball, but better. Unbelievable food and convenient location.

After a beautiful morning jog along the beach needed some serious rejuvenation. The Crispy Grindz food truck beckoned. Offering Acai or Pitaya bowls with perfect options for toppings, as well as wraps. I ordered a small Acai bowl with extra blueberries and chia seeds. Sauntered over to the beach to watch Surfers e practice their moves while reenergizing with this yummy breakfast. Actually is should be classified as a dessert as it feels too decadent to be called breakfast.

Recently went back to get the quesadilla that was spectacular the first time I tried it! What I got this time around was completely different — it hardly had any filling! It was really flat and thin like Taco Bell… what happened? Definitely not worth the 7⁄8 bucks I paid for it. Oh well.

Best acai bowl on the north shore. My family and I have been trying out all of the acai places and this one won by a landslide. They use high quality acai not a overly sweetened sorbet. I wish I could take 100 home with me!

Our first trip there was for an acai bowl with strawberries and coconut. It was fresh, cold and delicious. It wasn’t overly sweet and you could actually taste the fruit. Our next trip was for pastels and coxinhas. Our oldest son wasn’t hungry(is that possible for a teenage boy?) so he stayed home while the rest of us went for dinner. Of course, he asked for a bite when we got home and then demanded someone drive him back there for food! The pastels were crispy and delicious and I loved the hearts of palm coxhina and wish I’d gotten a chicken one, too. The cheese in all is super melty and smooth. We are food truck«wary» because, well, some of them just don’t look like anyone should be eating out of them — but Crispy Grindz is a food truck I would eat at every time without hesitation. They clearly take pride in their food and their truck.

First time trying a pitaya bowl and it was amazing! Bright pink fresh fruit topped with banana, granola, honey, and I added coconut flakes and PB. Very generous portion even with the small size. What a treat after the beach! And the staff are friendly as can be. I will definitely be hitting this place up again and again!

Solid four stars with occasional bursts of five with a delightful variety of Brazilian magic that makes you want more! Coxinha deep fried stuffed potato flour balls with chicken & cheese are a must have! We also had a Baked Quesadilla with spinach, chicken, tomato & cheese. The Acai bowls are also refreshing and delicious! Next visit to Sunset Beach we will stop in again! Great Grinds!

The Acai bowl is AMAZING! I came here three times during my visit to the north shore and I wish I could have gone back more! My favorite bowl was the Acai with peanut butter and strawberries. The bowl comes with acai, bananas, granola and honey and they have several toppings you can add such as flax seed, coconut, blueberries, peanut butter and strawberries. The pitaya bowl is great as well if you want something a little sweeter. The Coxhina with chicken is a delicious ball of fried, cheesy goodness that isn’t too heavy or greasy. Reasonably priced as well. Bonus… They take debit cards! Highly highlh recommend!!!

I’ve stopped at this place hmm I don’t know 6 – 8 times since I’ve been on island however my carrier(Sprint) never let me check in here the times I have been. I love seeing Brazilian food and people. Makes me feel at home. Their Acai is on point. The Coxinha which is like a potato filled with cheese, chicken, herbs and panko and deep fried. AMAZINGNESS. I loved the pastele here as well. I ordered the ground beef last time. I am not a soda drinker however when half my family was in Brasil I never turned down a Guarana soda. They are the best. Try one just to say you have had one. I remember the Brazilian grocery stores in Miami and I miss this stuff. So happy to find this. We parked down the alley to the left of the food truck. During the week it’s never been a problem. Definitely a spot you would miss if you didn’t look for it. Hopefully your GPS is better than mine.

Fresh, delicious Acai bowls. They don’t add any unnecessary fillers or sweeteners either. Just crunchy granola, fresh fruit and seeds or coconut if you ask for it. Great if you’re headed to pipeline to check the swells. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

We come every weekend for the pitaya bowl. Very refreshing and filling too. A must have. We wish there was a place closer to home so we could enjoy it more often.

The Acai bowls and pitaya bowls are okay. They’re refreshing on a hot day. Mine tasted a little icy to me & you only get granola, honey and bananas with the price. Other toppings are extra. There isn’t much parking either.

Best Food Truck! Thumbs up!
