Wonderful shopping area in Haleiwa Town which includes Cholo’s, Coffee Gallery, Raging Isles, Banzai Sushi, Silver Moon Emporium, Britton Gallery, Patagonia, etc. Boo hoo! Jungle Gems has CLOSED! So sad when businesses that have been a staple for the area close. They had good semi-precious and precious loose and mounted gemstones at reasonable prices.

Parking can be hard but there are some good spots in this shopping center. It’s nice and shady while you walk around to the shops and there are some hidden spots to sit and relax. Coffee Gallery is good for a Sunday afternoon pick-me-up, Kono’s for breakfast or lunch(they have environmentally friendly packaging), Breakers is sometimes good — sometimes not, Sushi place is good and they have entertainment on the weekend nights. The Country Store also sells shave ice and as far as I’m concerned it’s every bit as good as Matsumoto’s without the ridiculous line. NOTE: Cholo’s is not good mexican food but they have an amazing selection of tequila.

It’s a nice shopping area that has a variety of stores, lots of parking, and a public restroom that is fairly clean. It houses shops like Quicksilver/Roxy and Patagonia. There are coffee shops and small café eateries in here too.

Small little town with lots of art galleries full of unique art pieces. If you can and will make it to North Shore, then make sure you stop yourself here. Be sure to stop by the galleries and talk to the super nice art curators. Each gallery has its own personality and each curator has so much advice and experiences to share with you!

Its a marketplace… there are stores… art galleries… it was fun to wander through… most things are overpriced… meaning souvineers… but I suppose… I’m in Hawaii… everything costs more here except pineapples… LOL. Of course I did buy a few things while roaming around…

There are some nice shops in here. Quicksilver is one. But if your not into the normal touristy knick knacks then I would say not to go. Most of the shops have the same stuff. But on the flip side if you love Knick knacks then this is the place for you. Other then Konos the food in the Marketplace isn’t all that great. I didn’t try Bonzais Sushi so I have no opinion on that. Breakers sucks, Choloes is a joke. But there are some really cool Galleries in there. So that is a plus. I mean if your here you might as well check it out. Your not me, you may have a better time. I’m just not into that.

Super cute little strip mall. Lots of boutique shops, coffee places and restaurants. We decided to drive around Waialua and Haleiwa and stop into all the stores and shops. This was our first stop. Definitely aimed at tourists, which was fine, as we are, but I could see locals going there. Lots of parking and easy to walk around. Super windy though, although I find the entire North Shore to be windy, but I noticed in the Marketplace it was exceptionally windy in there. We went to Breaker’s for lunch, I bought a sweater from Raging Isle and we want to check out Banzai sushi. I wanted to get a coffee, but the line up was out the door at the Coffee Gallery, so I didn’t go, I refuse to wait that long for a coffee. We popped into all the stores, but I will review the ones that purchases were made at individually.

We love to visit the North Shore Marketplace and the shops there. Some of our favorites: Patagonia: Kimi loves to shop for her active and travel clothes here Cholo’s: our favorite North Shore watering hole. Tony and Francesca always make sure to keep our margarita glasses full! Coffee Gallery: you’ve got to try the«wakey wakey, eggs and bakey» scone here — its great!

Nice little marketplace in Haleiwa town. My bf and I always park here when we go to North Shore for lunch. We don’t actually eat at the marketplace, but there’s lots of dining options. Just to name a few: Cholos Breakers Coffee Gallery Banzai This is perfect for parking in Haleiwa, since it’s right in the middle of all of the restaurants/food stops.

I absolutely LOVE going to the North Shore. The BF and I always make it a point to visit the North Shore when we both have a day off from work. It’s kind of our«lunch date» hot spot. The lunch possibilities are endless… you can get food from a truck/wagon, dine in at a fancy restaurant, dine in at a dive, or take out and sit on the beach. We’ve done all of em and enjoyed each time. And then of course you can get shave ice afterwards. We love that we’re «touristy» for the day; it’s pretty fun! On our last trip we walked around the North Shore Marketplace which is located in Haleiwa. This marketplace has been around for over 20 years and has a variety of restaurants, clothing shops, antique shops, and galleries. There is tons of parking all around and it’s full of locals and tourists alike. Here are some of the places that I can remember: Cholo’s Breakers Banzai Sushi Coffee Gallery Patagonia Silver Moon Emporium North Shore Swimwear Jungle Gems Kono’s I Am Paradise Wyland Galleries Aloha General Store And there are many more… A fun place to visit and«window shop» on the North Shore… have lunch and walk off your food here!

We ended up going here more than I would like to admit, but over all it had everything I needed during my stay on North Shore. FYI– PUBLICRESTROOMS are available too. and they are clean. I know that sounds funny but I walked a couple of blocks looking for a restroom and these were working and clean. But this place had tons of great stores. I got some shirts, shorts, wet suit, shoes, postcards and etc. So if your looking for local gear to use at the beach or to go surfing with on the North Shore. This is a great place to find all those things. More importantly, the shaved ice at the local Aloha Grocery Mart has the BEST shaved ICE i’ve ever had. I highly recommend it!

We came here on a driving day a few trips back. I don’t remember being a whole lot of shops, but according to the directory, there are about 22 stores and services– really? I remember the following: the surf shop, the swimsuit shop(North Shore swimwear– handmade in Hawaii= high prices), the bead shop(Jungle Gems), the mexican restaurant, Cholo’s, an antique/resale shop, and the surf museum(small fee). I don’t remember seeing Patagonia or the General Store. I bought a small black Roxy tote bag for less than $ 15 at the surf shop, so I was happy. I’ve carried this bag on numerous Hawaii trips, so it was well worth the purchase.

Nice little stop on the way to north shore. Ok for shopping for souvenirs and there’s several surf shops. Also quite a few shaved ice spots. Didn’t eat here(wasn’t hungry) but there is a variety of interesting restaurants like cholo’s that i’d want to try if i came back.
