so this is for 2014! I couldn’t find the listing for it. OHMANSOCOOL! stopped by for a short 30 minutes, watched surfers catch some gnarly waves, some … eh… ate sand. but still neat! supported some locals by buying shirts for some family back home. Luckily we were here when the waves were at the PEAK… largest of the year they said. A Great experience and also a great photo taking opportunity

I didn’t see the event for Pipe Pro 2013, but checked in here anyway :) Arrived by chance on the first day of the comp and got to see Kawai’s Perfect 10! It was spectacular!

All I have to say is Pipeline and you will know about some surfing event that happening. Generally between the months of October — February, I try to keep my schedule open to go out and watch the competition. Its funny how waves can really relax you and Im sure im in agreement since there is hundreds of other people there watching. Parking can be tough some cmpetitions but on a nice day what’s a nice 1 mile walk. The best seats is near the Volcom house. Generally the judges are in this area and you can hear all the announcements on what the surfers are scoring and what time is left. I recommend you bring… Suntan lotion Mat Water Camera The waves are just as good as the surfing.
