Wow, there are a lot of reviews here about expired product, dirty premises, surly service. The only times I’ve ever been in this store was after midnight. All I ever bought was hot coffee, and a donut. The coffee was hot and tasty, the donut was fresh. The clerk was polite & efficient. It did not look that dirty, not spic and span, but OK. Maybe I was there on a good day. There are other«gulp n go» places in town. Safeway is open 24 hours and CVS until midnight. There is a 24 hour Chevron one block from 7 – 11. There are choices.

Badly run. Their canned drinks are often out of date and stale. There are usually one or two homeless guys out front. They push E-cigs and«vaping» products very hard. They had a R. J Reynolds rep behind the counter giving out free samples around the time the local high school lets out. The first one is always free!

One of the most run down 7 – 11’s I’ve ever seen. This 7 – 11 had no soda running what so ever. I poured soda in and got brownish sparkling water. Little to no syrup. Half the flavors were covered up by a piece of paper saying they were out. The slurpee machine was all watery. How can a 7 – 11 be that bad?

My friend and I were greatly surprised at how excited we were to find a 7 – 11! In this tiny beach town where everyone goes to bed at 8PM and there isn’t a business open at night, not even a gas station, this 7 – 11 is open. And that’s marvelous news when you’re a night owl, grew up in Vegas and now live in Seattle and not finding something open for a drink or snack at midnight is like being on another planet. We were greatly impressed with the pre-made salads found in the deli section of the cooler. They were fresh and tasted really good! Couldn’t believe it! Salad from a convenience store! We came here a couple times during our trip. The cashiers were cool and although shy, loved helping us out and gave us some tips.

When I find a 7 Eleven it’s like being home! 7 Eleven has all the snacks, soda, chips and junk food one could dream of. This store carries your typical wants. One visit to this location we bought a pack of gum and it was expired. The clerk was very helpful. When you need a slurpee in Half Moon Bay this is your stop!

Saturday morning, July 62013, I handed the cleark a $ 20 bill for a $ 6 and change purchase. He handed me back $ 3 and change and then walked away. I told him I gave him a $ 20 and he said I gave him a $ 10. He opened up the cash register and pulled out a worn-out ten and said, see. Really? I am very sure I gave him a fairly new $ 20. I will never patronize this store again.

Needed coffee for a long night shift ahead and I got it. Hot, freshly brewed and crappy tasting but it got me through. Clerk was cool and made sure I had what’s needed.

Since when is the smallest slurpee a buck forty? Seriously? Wow, I’m old. This 7⁄11 had a fairly up to date magazine rack but the service was slower and not especially friendly or appreciative. Meh.

Since we had 2 hours to kill between the wedding rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner, we decided to take a ride into Half Moon Bay which I don’t remember ever going to(Toni-correct me if I am wrong here). Anyway, we were all thirsty and the daughter and man wanted a little ice cream treat, so when we saw the«Sev», we pulled into the parking lot. This location has all the typical stuff, but it is also the absolute most filthy store of this kind I have ever been to or seen. Think filthy floors, dried mustard lidded inside garbage cans, caked on coffee pots, no napkins or lids that fit drinks anywhere, oh the list can go on. Sometimes I wonder how I could get a job with the Health Department as I would be making them some big bucks with fines on the things I notice. We got our beverages, they got their snacks and we headed back on the road. Sadly both of the ice cream purchases were full of freezer frost bite, so boo on you 7 – 11 in Half Moon Bay!
