The food was good but when it was ready, there was no clean table that we could use. The staff was clearly behind wiping off the tables and we had to do it ourselves. It appeared that the floor had not been swept either for quite some time. Chairs and floor were really dirty with food and detritus; it was not a good experience.

Worlds slowest Taco Bell! I’ve been to many, many taco bells and this was possibly the slowest. How long does it take to make a single loaded griller? Evidently more than 15 minutes!

Came here late last night starving was told the food on the line was pretty old ok I’ll skip that went to bed hungry Came back today ordered a taco salad taco grande Fritos burrito and a tostada this food was crap I ate what I could but so disappointed I used to love Taco Bell but no more I just hope I don’t get sick I worked at a Taco Bell back in the day and I know how it’s supposed to be made too bad Taco Bell has changed for the worse

I have not been to Taco Bell and the gentleman at the register was extremely rude. Did not seem to care about the well being of any of the guests. He made racial comments they were extremely offensive I will never come back.

I hadn’t been to a Taco Bell in years, but there wasn’t much to choose from in the sleepy town of Half Moon Bay late at night.
This first Taco Bell I’ve ever seen in a strip mall was also the first one I’ve ever seen without a drive thru.
I got a couple burritos. With no one in front of me, it took longer that it should have to make the food. It was all right for fast food.
The guy at the counter was OK. I could tell I was intimidating him a bit since I’m not his typical customer. I wanted to tell him to take a chill pill but I was more focused on getting some food.

A welcome change to the usual choices in town. The food has usually been very good (primarily because it’s made when you order it, from what I can tell.) I’ve always ordered late at night so I cannot attest to the lunch staff people apparently have issues with, but the staff that works nights is friendly, albeit understaffed, people that work the register have to work the back as well. The only reason I’m not giving it five is because of the 20+ minutes I’ve had to wait every time for my food. Even still, I’m happy to come back more often.

I rarely eat at Taco Bell in general but if they’re gonna put one in half moon bay, at least have good service. The staff had no manners. Both that were behind the counter looked at me. no «be right with you» or anything… just a quick look… then made me wait about 5 min before I would even be acknowledged. Then when I was finally acknowledged, there was no «sorry for the wait» or «thanks for your patients.» Instead I got a «yes?»… Duhfuk?!
On top of that the third employee, wasn’t behind the counter at first, came behind the counter as I was about to order and started speaking profanities under his breath. Srsly, who the hell hired the dipshits?

This place is a mess. The manager yelled at one of the employees making my food in front of everyone. Then sat in the corner and proceeded to pout while texting on her cell phone. Who put her in charge? No wonder the poor kid looks like he doesn’t want to work there. Treat your employees better, and you may be pleasantly surprised at how they respond to you. Maybe start out by pulling them aside when you are disappointed in what they’re doing verses reprimanding them in front of everyone.

I can only go to this Taco Bell location when I am not too hungry yet. Fast food means fast in and out, isn’t it? But I usually have to wait for my orders here for a VERY long time.
The weird thing is that I noticed they had lots of staffs when they first opened. Now a few months later, they often have only one person in the kitchen and one cashier at the counter. And then, there would be 5 to 6 hungry people waiting anxiously.
Bring a book. It helps while you wait…

had the muchies tonight, came here to buy 3 taco’s, forgot the drinks, the employee gave me 1 for free without charging me. Great customer service, great atmosphere and overall, a clean restaurant.

Taco Bell is ok, but we have much better places for great, fresh and healthy (relatively) and inexpensive Mexican food! Go to Happy Taco or Tres Amigos!

Yassssss I love Taco Bell and the fact that people are against the location due to the fact that is next to the ridiculous most expensive market on the coast which only rich people can afford I find it unfair to the community, not everyone can afford to shop at new leaf $ 2.50 for a lemon is crazy, no one boycott it when they open now they should leave us alone because we enjoy it and is inexpensive. YO QUIERO TACO BELL. ha ha

I don’t care what anyone says, I love Taco Bell!
Today was their first day open. It’s a pretty small place with no drive through but the employees seemed to know what they were doing and my order came out right. The food was good. It’s Taco Bell so you kinda know what you’re getting, it’s nothing different than the norm… I do love Taco Bell though so I think it’s GREAT.
