The lines gas station is an excellent place to buy low price gasoline and pick up a few snacks along the way. All of my visits in the past have been quick and easy and clean. They’ve also had window squeegees with fresh cleaning fluid available every time. I recommend you give them a try. This gas station has lots of pumps and you can fuel quickly because of that. The inside is a bit cramped and the bathroom requires you get the key from the clerk which is a little annoying and probably unsanitary. There is a Popeye’s Chicken attached to the inside as well.

I fucking hate this gas station! Pumps never work, dispense really slow and the staff is rude. Every other gas station in the area seems to be no problem at all… Thank god it’s a long coast downhill into HMB on the 92 or else I might be forced to stop here more than twice a year.

I stop here occasionally for gas since I work up the street. A few weeks ago I filled up my tank and left the lever to fill it up while I washed my windows. I was distracted and drove off forgetting the nozzle was still in my tank! I was mortified, noticed it immediately stopped and brought the hose and nozzle (still intact and not appearing to be damaged) into the store to advise and to apologize. Without even looking at it I was told that would be $ 295. A little taken aback I said what do you mean, I was told that I had broken it and it would cost me $ 295.00, would that be check or credit card. I said neither, I don’t have $ 295.00; either your insurance company or mine should cover it. They told me I had to fill out a form (name address phone and pump number) that I would be getting a call and that i should NOT inform my car insurance as it would only make it go up and with my deductable I would just have to pay it anyway. He then told me that if I called my insurance company it would cost me MORE than $ 295! This was late eveneing and by early morning when I drove back through I noticed the pump was up and running, I wish now that I had stayed around to see how long it took them to put the hose back on. When I got home I called my Insurance agent and left a message then looked it up and found I was not alone in my absentmindedness and that some people ride home with them or down the highway. (i barely went 3 feet) I learned that most times they snap back in, however if they are damaged it can cost hundreds to repair. My agent called the next day; I told her everything. She was very alarmed they where telling people not to call their agents. She said according to CA law any damage you cause under 1,000.00 will be paid for by your insurance carrier WITHOUT points on your license OR using your deductable. The station does however have to provide a legititmate receipt from a bonifide repair service to be reimbursed. SO I believe this station is scamming people. I hope that this review will serve to protect the public from this offensive business practice. They have lost my business forever and I will tell as many people as I can about this (even though I feel like an idiot for doing it!)

Use your debit and the price is the same as cash (it just takes about a minute to adjust the price). The only issue here is that the debit option only lets you pump $ 35.00 @a time.
The price is usually within $.05 of the lowest price you will find on the coast and on rare occasions it is the lowest.
All that and a clean convenience store, an attached Popeye’s, and never a wait for a pump put this station on my favorite list.

Not the cheapest gas in town, but we end up coming here when the More for Less pumps down the road are too much of a clusterfuck to get into (which is most of the time). I have a huge beef with places like this — I just think it is SO obnoxious to charge more for people paying with credit cards. Seriously, it’s retarded. Anyway, this station has a convenience store with the coldest Rock Stars around… and I guess there’s a Popeyes attached too. Good location just at the crotch of the 1 and the 92 (ha ha I said crotch).
