Tried this place out with 5 of my sisters a few weeks ago for the first time and I absolutely loved it! Great place to get a «foot massage»… It’s more like a full body massage. Will definitely be going back!

I will never step foot here again. I have received massages for many years and never had an experience like this one. The MT(massage therapist) used elbows during most of the treatment, wrenched my shoulders(left marks) and continuously pinched my skin instead of massaging. The following day I had bruising on my body.

Found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! It was my wife’s birthday so I took her in for the 40min foot/40min body couple’s massage. Don’t let the dated appearance of the exterior deter you, the interior facilities were clean and comfortable. Décor and soft music was nice too. We were greeted professionally right when we walked in, introduced to our masseuses, and lead into the community massage area for the foot portion. My masseuse started on my shoulders, head and neck as my feet soaked in hot water for about 10mins. The foot massage was phenomenal. Just the right pressure, and she was very thorough, getting to my toes, arches, calves and ankles. The hot towel wipe down afterwards was really nice. After 40mins, my wife and I were lead into the couples massage room. We had both asked for firm pressure, and our masseuses didn’t disappoint. We both received very thorough, firm and professional massages followed by complete hot towel wipe downs. My wife and I were both completely satisfied and relaxed, as we headed off to lunch at the Ritz.(BTW — Cloud9 is rated higher than the Ritz Spa, and for a fraction of the cost!) Looking for a great, relaxing massage for a VERY fair price? Cloud9 is your spot. We will definitely be back again.

Went back a second time, tried the foot massage this time. Still an hour, just not super satisfied this time they person seemed new and didnt seem to know how to actually massage. Just kept pressing my body? Granted it is an actual«foot» massage, but it seemed like they spent 50 minutes on my feet and 10 on my neck and back which was useless because they didn’t know what the heck they were doing! Anyhow I don’t blame them they must have been new. The actual work on my feet relaxed me and I fell asleep on that part. So I think they earned their tip in that regard. Tip for customers-ask to make sure the person your getting actually knows how to massage or is at least trained, and isnt just gona press on you the whole while they should be working muscles into relaxing. Tip for Cloud 9– make sure All your masseuse’s are well trained with proper massaging techniques please. I still like you guys because your professional and its a clean place, and most likely going back. But! Please! Do train your new staff properly, thanks.

I have had several body massages at Cloud 9, and have loved them all! I would highly recommend Cindy, who I try and request each time I go. My back bothers me from time to time and Cindy’s massages really help.

My masseuse was rude and way too rough. I asked her multiple times she was digging her elbow into me way too much. I have BLUEANDPURPLEBRUISING along my ribs where she forced my arm up and over extended it, and pushed extremely hard on each side of my ribs. I have bruising on my upper back. I have worked for multiple massage company’s and this absolutely not ok for clients to be in pain, none the less severely bruised. My shoulders are bruised and my neck is so sore. I will never return to this place, not to mention the facility I am in uses this place often and usually brings in 5 – 10 people at a time. I will advise them to find another place because I guarantee these are not certified massage therapists. Pain and bruising is not ok!!! Not to mention the male therapist next to me was make grunting noises, and they were eating food in the back that you could smell through out the large room!

I came here super last minute(and I mean SUPER-I called 45 minutes before my massage) and everything was amazing. The girl at the front desk was super nice and helpful. She held a spot for me and even let me come in early. Once I got there, she handed me a laminated paper with different sides of a body on it. I got to choose the amount of pressure I liked by indicating on the paper as well as any areas I needed extra attention with or any that they could skip all together. Now onto my massage therapist. I had Cindy and she was amazing. She was incredibly calming and made the whole experience comfortable. She paid special attention to the areas I indicated on the paper and even broke up some knots I’ve had in my neck for a while. She checked in every once in a while to make sure the pressure was good, but not so often that she killed the vibe. She even brought me tea after! I’m definitely coming back-and requesting Cindy !

Steven was wonderful. I purchased the 40/40, foot treatment and specific massage. I had a severe shoulder neck issue from working on the computer. Steven performed deep tissue modalities on my back and shoulder that really helped. I will ask for him again next visit.

This place is amazing. I went there to get a combo(40 min foot massage + 40 min body massage). The place is very very relaxing. It is very reasonably priced. The masseuse, Andy, was awesome. Hot towels, warm lotion/oil, relaxing music, & hot tea to go with it

A SLICEOFZENHEAVENINHALFMOONBAY! YOUABSOLUTELYMUSTTRYTHISPLACE. PUTITONYOURBUCKETLIST! I have been wanting to try Cloud 9 since they FIRST opened. I use to be a regular at the owner’s first foot spa, Oceanic in Foster City. My Mother and I finally went for my birthday last month and I still can’t get over how IMMACULATE it is! The Outside: You drive in off Cabrillo highway into a good sized parking lot in back. The colorful building stands out. There’s a pathway through the back surrounded by the joys of their sweet garden that’s blooming for your pleasure! Stop and admire it. The Inside: You first enter the check in area. The receptionist who helped us(didn’t catch her name but younger, adorable, hip in the tattoo/piercing sense — wait I sound like I am creeping — back to the topic now)… she was extremely friendly with very happy energy. It started the whole experience of very refreshing! There are cute booth-like seats to use while you wait. Your massage therapist will come get you and take you the second area where you will remove your shoes and place them on a rack. This area also has a bathroom with a fully equipped shower and an additional body massage room. The next door you’ll go through will lead you to the massage areas. They look exactly like the business photos above but even prettier in person. I’ll upload mine once I locate them on my Mom’s Iphone. The protocol is very much identical to Oceanic. You are given fresh flower + goji berry tea before your massage starts. We both got 60 minute foot massages. They were very consistent with monitoring time to ensure all areas of the body and feet being massaged got their time to shine! I love this, no short shots! The best part was that they used Giovanni’s organic cruelty free lotion in a scent so divine you want to be it’s baby Daddy. Trust me, roar! Massage Therapist: had Bruce and my Mom had his wife(I forgot her name). Both were fantastic with just the right amount of pressure. I like strong and my Mom takes medium. We were very impressed at their skill, techniques and intuitive touch. We will request them both next time we go. Sold. The ambiance inside the foot massage area is a complete zen hideaway, it’s posh but not pompous. You can tell the owners designed it with absolute elite comfort in heart. The lights are low, the music is serene, there’s a slight breeze that blows the elegant white curtains surrounding your sacred space and I can guarantee you’ll be feeling all romance-pants by the time you leave! Own the feeling like a boss bae, you deserve it. This is a true treat to give to yourself or loved one. They cater to groups too! We got the new friends deal and only paid $ 25 for our heavenly hour of healing. They offer daily specials/discounts which you can find on their website. If you are passing through, visiting, live near or live in Half Moon Bay and have not experienced Cloud 9 yet, please do. You are not going to find anything like this. I bet my favorite tutu on it. :)

My fiancé and I came here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a great experience. We both greatly enjoyed our massage therapists and the customer service by the front desk receptionist was exceptional. We’ll definitely be back!

After writing an email and never hearing back, I decided to share my experience on Unilocal. My «massage» there on March 12th was one of the most unforgettable experiences at this establishment. My massage therapist, Cindy was so unprofessional. First, she was pushing on parts of my body so hard I felt like I was a piece of cheese and she was grading me. It was so rough and painful, for three days I was unable to sleep on my back, have anyone touch me, let alone do anything active– my body was in that much pain. When Cindy would go to massage my neck, she just grabbed it, squeezed it and was not gentle at all– she was pushing my face into the massage table. When the«hot towel» was to be used, she didn’t even let it cool off in her hands, she placed it on my back still folded and hot. She had then began to clean the massage oil off me with a scorching hot towel– I had even jumped a little! I am beside myself with how unprofessional and careless Cindy was in the massage session. I will never return here!

I get massages every few months or so and this very well could have been one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Bruce was great for me and my girlfriend really liked Andy.

My husband and I went on a last minute one night trip to Half Moon Bay. I was happily surprised to find that Cloud 9 could get us both in at the last minute. My husband and I used to get regular massages. With that said, it was one of the best massages he has had. Although I only paid the very reasonable fee of $ 35 for an hour foot massage, it might as well have been a regular massage. In addition to a great foot massage, the therapist also gave me a neck/shoulder massage along with massaging my back and legs. I was very impressed. Make sure to tip them well. The prices are so low, that’s how they make any money. Even adding tips, it’s way more reasonable than most places. Will definitely go again on our next visit to Half Moon Bay!

I have been going to Cloud 9 since they opened. Yesterday was the one of the best massages I have ever had and I have had many. I had lots of tension in my neck and shoulders and not only did she work the pain out she added hot towels at the end on my lower back and my shoulders and neck.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! My back went out on me this last Sunday night and I was in major pain and walking like a crippled person, hunched over and walking very slowly. I was referred by a friend of mine and so I made an appt. that very same day. I went walking walking like a cripple and came out walking like I was on top of the WORLD!!! It was the best massage I have ever had. My massage therapist was Cindy, she is amazing. She really worked on my back for a full hour. I definitely recommend Cloud 9 for your next massage experience. Namaste — Peace Out! Monique

This place offers great deals. Its a clean peaceful establishment that offers a nice relaxing ambiance. The people are nice & the operators are experienced, but heavy handed. Be sure to say ENOUGH the first time they ask if the pressure is to heavy, or else they’ll keep increasing the pressure until you’ve had enough! We had out massages on Saturday & my skin is still hurting lol. Carefully watch the signs as its hella hard to figure out how in the helium to get in! I didnt appreciate the«suggested» tipping options, but I’d visit again.

Great little foot spa in Half Moon Bay! Like others have stated, don’t let the outside scare you. When my friends and I first parked our cars, we were a little big skeptical, judging from the surroundings. This place is so unassuming yet once you enter and are led through the main room, I was 100% surprised to see how tranquil and relaxing the atmosphere was. They served us tea with chrysanthemum flowers and goji berries(yum!) and the staff is great! Mine(shoot I forgot her name) was strong and hit all of my pressure points, without being painful and over the top. How perfect is that? The ‘foot massage’ actually includes a full body and it was amazingly priced! I almost fell asleep because it was so relaxing and much needed. Plus, all of this under $ 50! Be sure to check out this hidden gem when you’re in HMB.
