Good service, but the lunch menu lacks the pasta dishes I had come for. Ended up having the Western Omelette with a bagel and iced tea. Meh …
There was no cheese (or at least none that I could taste) in my omelette. Nor was there any sour cream, salsa, or sense of ‘heat’ (no spicy taste).
If you come here for the prices, you won’t be disappointed. If you come for the ability to have breakfast till 3 pm, you won’t be disappointed. If you come for the Western Omelette though, you will be.

Chef Anthony’s French Toast are the best. My husband love the burger and the club sandwich as well. Unfortunately, I requested cheese blintzes 3 times and they did not have it; even though is in their menu, a little bit disappointed. Teresa is the nicest person ever!

Not exactly an Italian restaurant. More like a pool snack bar serving deli sandwiches. Was staying at a resort nearby and decided to check it out only to be disappointed. Gratuity was automatically added to the bill at 18% which is higher than I was planning on tipping for the minimal service we received.

Really very good food. The two pound lobster was wonderful and the other entrees were also enjoyed by my party. Atmosphere is more like a family dining room but the prices are very reasonable. Worth the trip.
Definitely hard to find but worth the effort.

Clearly a local spot for residents. It’s inside and beyond the lobby of the hi-​rise Condo — next to the pool!
Friendly staff who know their customers. We had a straightforward breakfast and good coffee at great value.

Ok so it is just breakfast, right? Wrong!
Peaceful, clean and comfortable hidden restaurant, with a cheery, helpful staff. We had Salami and Eggs and The Crunchy French Toast. Both were excellent, generous portions, full plates. And the total for two with coffee was under $ 20.
Hard to find, but worth the time to locate it.
If I lived here I would be having breakfast at this place at least 3 times a week.

Amazing food!!! Place isnt fancy and lacks decoration, service was OK, we waited a long time to be greeted, but really good tasting food. Veal chop very pricey but DELICIOUS!!! Also try the butternaut soup, you wont regret this experience!

I had ate at Chef Anthony’s 4 times for breakfast, during my vacation in Hallendale, FL. We found the place through Unilocal!
Note: It’s in La Mer condominiums, so you have to check in with the guard. Don’t be intimidated, it’s worth the hassle. They also don’t open until 9:00AM … So, you can cool your heals at the park next door or take a power-​walk on the beach.
Needless to say, this Baltimore boy loved the place. It was a taste of home with a pool side view of the ocean. I had the salami & eggs $ 7; the Nova plate $ 13; and the Nova, Eggs & Onions $ 8 twice. The last being a deal as there was more Nova than eggs, so I could steal some for my poppy seed bagel, tomato and schemer of Cream Cheese for a home-​town breakfast.

If you are looking for good food, friendly service and at great value then this is the right place. We had the spaghetti marinara and the rigatoni and both were exceptional. Wine is also at a good price no real wine menu, whatever they have at the time but met our taste and again reasonable cost.
At the LA Mer condos, you need to walk up to the security guard at the round about drive entrance. While we walked they also validate the parking.
Don’t expect fancy, just enjoy the family friendly meal. We will be back. Breakfast and lunch menus looked good too.

We are here two weeks a year and this is now our favorite place for breakfast and dinner. Walking distance from our condo, food, service and ambience are perfect. Waitresses Therese and Martha are truly a pleasure. We just discovered this hidden gem, we have had a place here for years and can’t believe we haven’t discovered this sooner.

This family run restaurant is hidden in a seniors condo complex right on the beach. It is a hidden little gem that we found thanks to Unilocal!The service was fantastic even though they had a packed house on a Friday night.

Dinner is expensive but is of poor quality. I had the brisket. The brisket was okay but it was served with mashed potatoes that tasted like glue. When I asked the waiter if the potatoes were made from powder, he said he didn’t know and ran off.
My husband had veal scallopini. He said that the pasta was undercooked and the sauce was terrible.
People that like the place have probably had lunch/​breakfast. It’s really hard to screw up a hamburger and French fries.
I’ve been to many diners/​restaurants in my life and although I’ve been served bad mashed potatoes, I’ve never been served fake mashed potatoes. The fact that the word «chef» is in the name of this place is a farce. They should be embarrassed to serve such bad food at $ 20 a plate. Blech!

This restaurant is in a condo complex called La Mer and has outdoor seating right by the pool. I have had their omelet and the French Toast. The French Toast is delish. I won’t reveal the secret ingredient but it makes the toast crunchy and sweet and unique from other similar dishes. I would highly recommend it.
