This is pretty much the worst Publix I’ve lived close to and tried to use. They aren’t well stocked when it comes to, what I consider to be, very common items. So, I go across the street to Winn Dixie now. I’m sick of making a list and being told«oh, we’re out of them» for for almost half of my shopping list, so why waste the time?

Worst publix. This is the second time I have paid for an item only to return home and it wasn’t bagged. This time I’m going back for a refund. Also, did not appreciate the bagger who was sick and cOme into work anyway! Stay home rather than infecting unwitting consumers. Shame, Shame! Also the vagrants that hang outside are disturbing. Its unsafe. Need security outside!

What a shame that a company as large as Pubix can’t manage to keep their HiGi machines working. It’s been over six months and I can’t find one anywhere and I’m sick of complaining to the Chief Pharmacist who is supposed to monitor such things. That’s why I come in here; it’s certainly not for the produce that is almost always rotten when I get home and open it up or the milk that goes sour in three days or the frozen, farm raised fish that they thaw out and sell as fresh or the really disgusting and overpriced wine. They don’t pull that stuff at the store in Palm Beach; why do it here? I’d give it no stars if I could and didn’t hurt the feelings of the very nice help(they are all good), but they have a corporate rip off mentality I’m sad to say. Maybe the best store in Boca is better; I’ll try but I think in 50 years I’ve been in most of them and they all are wanting. Winn Dixie isn’t any better and the help is not as pleasant.

They are friendly. But it really bugs me that people in customer service have thick accents that are hard to comprehend. Also…they are expensive!!!

Expensive and more so each and every year. Return policy is generous, however. Did I mention that they’re expensive?

Whenever I’m in the East Hallandale area, I like to shop at this Publix. The store is busy with people and is always clean. I was on my way to check out a few items when I heard an announcement that free samples of cherry-cranberry relish & baked spinach alfredo was being given at the Publix aprons simple meals station. I decided to check it out. I got there just in time, more people were coming to stand in line. The lady that was handing out the samples was subtle. She scooped up a small amount of the cherry-cranberry relish & spinach alfredo on to a little plastic plate and handed it to me. The spinach alfredo was ok. Just from the taste, the alfredo sauce couldn’t hide the fact that the spinach was from a frozen package; and what I thought to be croutons was only cubed garlic Texas toast. The cherry-cranberry relish was a bit too tart for me and I couldn’t force myself to take another bite. I then proceeded to check out and on my way home.

This Publix is always crowded. You encounter rude people all the time(not so much the employees but the shoppers themselves.) However, they are well-stocked and have a good selection of meats and produce. Their prepared meals and desserts are also very good. I’m a Publix fan and this is a convenient location for me but I have definitely been at much better Publix stores. Their biggest downfall is the congestion that is ever present there. Be prepared to WAIT at their deli counter.

I do love Publix but this has to be one of the worst. Rude people, a lot of rude employees, and long lines for everything regardless of the time of day. This place is packed from the time it opens to 11 when it closes. Everything is stocked well but the lines are ridiculous. The place is a madhouse. I’ve lived in the area for two years now and going to this Publix is pure stressful.

Ok– so I would normally not review a Publix, but when I saw this Publix on Unilocal,I needed to give me two cents. It is probably the worst Publix ever– and I am an avid Publix shopper. It is so congested and everyone is so slow, I feel myself getting older during any shopping experience here. When I lived in this area, I actually found myself going to Winn Dixie(yes, I know) across the street to avoid this place. Good news– I moved and have a big pretty Publix nearby. :)

Yes, you have to deal with the old people leaving their carts in the middle of the aisles, but this Publix isn’t as bad as the last reviewer made it seem. Their selection is decent, although their vegetable selection is pretty paltry. They have a decent selection of Kosher meats. Check-out was fast and the service is decent. I wouldn’t go out of my way to shop here, but if you’re nearby, it’s a decent location.

I refer to this location as Pube-Licks. This is the most awful; congested piss you off kind of shopping experience. I live nearby so when I run out of something and am in dire need I suck it up; put on my game face and get ready for battle. At Pube licks you will encounter various sorts of persons that may crush you with their car due to medication, dementia or plain carelessness. Once I was even pushed into a shelf of feminine products by a strange man clueless as how to operate his motorized cart. I actually bruised. People do not say excuse me, please or any form of nicety to get to what they want. It is a free for all. The produce section is especially awkward when it comes to the amount of time some seem to spend«fondling» things to get just the right one. It is scary here. Please be careful. * I gave them the 2 stars because the deli part makes some pretty good subs.
