Starbucks

If I could give no stars I would. I love Starbucks but this place does not do Starbucks justice. It’s actually making the Starbucks brand look bad. I was so unhappy with the coffee I threw it out and went to another Starbucks to rebuy it. I will upload a photo of my double purchase.

Have been many times here. Great tourist area, walking distance to ocean beach. Unfortunately, the place is tiny and never enough workers, as a result, ever too long waiting, never free table inside, only outside where it is too hot and muggy most of the time of the year in South Florida.

Always a crazy line here. Be prepared to wait 15 – 20 minutes to order. The staff’s decently friendly but not very knowledgable about the Starbucks apps which was a bit disappointing… not sure when I’m going to get that free drink advertised on their wall for signing up for the app and neither do they, with some attitude too!!!

Does the rewards program feul the addiction or does the addiction earn you the rewards– that is the question.
Either way, I’m such a huge Starbucks fan, that my 2 year old knows what a Starbucks run is! He even has favorite menu items (butter croissant or anything pumpkin) It’s quite possible that this 2 year old’s love of Starbucks makes me go more often. It’s surely not the long line, how slow the baristas are, that for some reason Joy is too difficult a name to write properly on a cup– or perhaps it is not my name, but a joke that it os a cup of Joe?
I don’t get to sit inside thar often anymore– it’s far easier to maintain control of a toddler when he is strapped down! I’ve noticed that it seems as though the drive thru is a higher priority than face to face customers, not unlike when you go to customer service at a retail store and the phone call is more important than the person standing right in front of them. I have found it quicker to stay in the car line rather than park and go inside.
While the seasonal pumpkin spiced drinks are certainly quite popular, I’m always partial to the iced, grande, non-​fat, caramel macchiato, upside down, one splenda, no whip.

Terrible customer service and always super. Busy. If you dare to go there around 2pm you won’t find A table inside even of your life depended on it!!! Huge line, employees always look like they hate their job. Plus they hired a lot of young people, all the old staff is long gone. This barista didn’t even bother to put her name on the name tag. She wrote «disaster» on it. It took me a month to find out her real name was Anna. All in all, that store needs to reconsider the customer service they’re offering. Also if you go around closing time expect to be kicked out and make it known that they wanna get there as soon as possible !!!

A REFILL WITH A SUPERVISOR …
When I gave my cup of coffee to Virginia to make refill for me, she threw it in trash and she filled it a new cup of coffee then she charged me again. So I asked her why she charged me for refill in full price and Starbucks do that some time for free and some time for 52 cents ?!! She said the policy is changed. I said when the policy is changed ?? She said a few time ago!!! So I asked her to call the manager for me. She said I am A SUPERVISOR!!! Let’s imagine that Starbucks changed the policy (nothing changed) so I think what she has to do as A PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISOR is that just refill my coffee, then says that Please Sir let you know next time I will charge you in full price for refill because the policy is changed.
Because I am loyal to Starbucks I wrote my experience with this SUPERVISOR,

Very nice location and outside seating, not too busy as most starbuckses, good coffee and friendly personnel. Coming there every morning

By far the best Starbucks location I’ve been to. HALLENDALE beach. See Jacob, Sami, Mel and the new addition Anna such a good staff

I like this starbucks. Indoor/​Outdoor seating, low pretention, staff friendly especially for repeat customers. They brew Bold/​Dark Roast thru late in the day unlike the Aventura shoppe which claims they do not brew Bold after noon — its pourover for Aventura. yuk.
Manager Amaury always greets me well and stops and talks when I stay. I see him working/​cleaning in the store and that is a good sign.

So this is the closest Starbucks to me so I am always here. There is always a line but it’s Starbucks. That’s to be expected. I just wish it were larger. Some days I want to go in and sit and do some work but there is never anywhere to sit inside or outside. Excellent, but again, wish there was more seating.

Incompetent.
Even if you’re looking for a terrible cup of coffee I wouldn’t recommend coming here.
This place is so bad I’m putting all Starbucks on a time out for at least six months.

This is more of a review of the chain than this location in particular; as far as I’ve seen they’re all pretty much the same. That is one good thing I can say about Starbucks, they’re extremely consistent. It doesn’t matter what location, in any city or state, it’s pretty much the same experience. I’ve maybe only had a couple times where my drink tasted strange or «off». And only one or two times where I’ve been disappointed in the service, because of turnaround time. My major complaint is the pricing. This place is way too expensive for what it is. I think I’ve averaged about $ 16 for two «grande» drinks and a couple pieces of cake. That’s ridiculous. That and the special code you need to learn just to be able to order. Yes, like many of you, I learned the terminology, but I’ve always questioned the necessity of it. It was like leaning a different language. Overall, Starbucks is good for what it is, but I can’t say I’m a huge fan.

Nice Starbucks just off the main drag in Hallendale. Its in a shopping plaza, so you can shop a bit and grab a coffee here. There is a large staff here and its been busy this morning but these guys are very efficient and make some decent coffee.

I’m up in the area once in awhile and have always liked this Starbucks. It’s basically the main meeting point in Hallandale.
All the employees seem to be happy and it’s a pleasure coming here to grab a coffee or catch up on some work on my notebook.

They renovated this shop and it got very modern. High traffic all day. Many sandwiches and drinks. Its tough to get a table inside. Outside tables also available. Coffee the same as every starbucks

Just an update about the WiFi… They now have partnered with Google, at this location, and the WiFi is blazing fast, even during peak hours. It’s called «Google Starbuks,» if you need to connect to it…

This Starbucks is in a very convenient location in Hallendale Beach. It is fairly small and ALWAYS crowded! This is especially true when the Snowbirds are here during high season. Very international crowd. There are lots of places to sit outside, many covered. The service can be slow, but there are many outlets for power and the seating is fairly comfortable. Not the best Starbucks, but not the worst either.
