I’ve had this spot bookmarked for sometime and today I happen to be in the area so why not! I pulled up to a rather very small building I didn’t even notice any signage out front but it’s where my GPS was telling me to turn. As I parked I notice a guy getting into his car and I often forget that I’m in Miami so I naturally say «Hi» he looks at me as if I called his mother a fat cow! Anyways back to the review, from the appearance you wouldn’t expect much and would probably peek in and walk out, but you’d be making a mistake.
I went in craving some fried fish so the gentleman behind the counter suggested the fish (grouper) and fries. Man!!! It was delicious! A generous portion of grouper bites and crinkle fries both served nice and hot! Accompanied with a cold fruit punch or beverage of your choice $ 5.00! Yup that’s correct I said 5 Bucks! It tasted so fresh and clean that I didn’t have to add any lemon and had zero fishy aftertaste. Loved it I would definitely come back
The two gentleman behind the counter were very friendly and polite, don’t expect table service, but expect some good, fresh, inexpensive food. It’s a bit warm inside, so just an FYI.

I’ve been driving past this place for the past 7 months and now I’m FINALLY trying out the food. I came here just a half an hour before the kids from Hallandale High School got dismissed because they does pack this place up. Tasty’s is a small spot, but by the look of their menu, they serve some pretty good food. Various combo meals ranging from chicken, burger, seafood, surf & turf, and sandwiches all under $ 15. They also have daily special combos such as chicken wings, cheeseburger, fish strips, shrimp, hot dogs, and chicken tenders all under $ 9. All combos include fries and a choice of a small drink (ice tea, fruit punch, lemonade, bottled water). Make sure you walk with cash because that’s all they take.
I decided to try their 5 wings combo with a small fruit punch. The lady behind the counter was very nice. As I waited on my food, I happened to notice the candy display in the glass counter. Now & Later, Mike & Ike, Lemonhead, Boston Baked Beans… Oh Snap! I grew up with these candies when I was a kid. I asked the lady how much the Now & Later cost and she replied 25 cents… you know I bought one.
My food was ready. The smell of the fried chicken was making my mouth water. There’s condiments on a table against the wall if you want to add anything to your food before you leave. Though the food was hot, I quickly took a sample of a piece of chicken. Hot & crispy on the outside, tender & juicy on the inside. Nicely seasoned and not too much breading. The fries was fried to a golden brown, wasn’t too oily. The fruit punch was very sweet, but it tasted pretty good. Alright, alright, I’m a fan. I’ll make sure not to take too long to try Tasty’s again.

This food was finger licking good! I’m from Pennsylvania & my GPS got me exactly there. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was amazing & the place was clean. You get a great portion for a good amount. I got two meals under $ 15. The drinks were also very tasty & the dessert finished it off just right. Don’t just take my word for it, try it & be satisfied!

The restaurant has quite a selection of great food. Yellow rice, lemon pepper fish, wings, and much much more. My favorite was the lemon pepper wings and fried shrimp. They have a platter where you can have surf and turf combos and you can pick two or three of the items for $ 7.95 or $ 9.50. You can choose from wings, shrimp, chicken tenders, fish strips which can be tilapia, grouper, catfish or snapper and then you get fries and a drink, also. They have other super value combos for $ 6.50 such as fish sandwich and fries and drinks or cheeseburgers or conch fritters. On Friday and Saturday they have oxtails, fried pork chops, fish meatloaf, collard greens, pigeon peas. Everything was yummy!!!
