Tu Pizza

I order this pizza on Saturday, and it was a great surprise. Growing up on NYC make its easy to find quality pizza everywhere. However, this is not the case here in south Fl. Tu pizza, has a perfect combination and the price is right, the delivery does takes about 45 minutes so you need to take that into consideration or pick it up if your very hungry. I will recommending this place to all my friends.

Excellent pizza and lasagna! We couldn’t stop eating! If you want to have the best Italian food, you have to visit this place!!!

This is my bf and his roomie’s go-​to pizza place now (that’s not Domino’s or the like), so I decided to try it considering he’s a New Yorker. Plus you can’t pass up the value of their Tuesday special — $ 8 for a 16″ pie, +$ 1/​topping. We got one with pepperoni and mushroom and one with ham and pineapple, ordered for delivery. Negative aspects: thin to the point where the slices were floppy and the toppings were dripping off, crust was bland and neither crispy nor soft (somewhere in-​between like day old pizza). Positive aspects: everything else. Other than the few floppy slices, both pies were extremely good. I was especially impressed with the ham/​pineapple one. I’m normally not a fan of ham at other pizza places because it tastes so processed, but here it was like what you’d get at Thanksgiving — high quality with good flavor that’s not overpowered by salt. I also liked that the pineapples were ring slices, not the stubby little triangles you normally get, so you got some pineapple with every bite. The pepperoni/​mushroom pie was also packed with toppings so you never thought you were eating a cheese pie. Overall, I’m glad the bf discovered a place that doesn’t skimp out on the toppings, all of which are of high quality and flavor, but would’ve liked to see the same quality in the crust.

I don’t understand the great reviews… pizza is NOT good! Soggy, extremely greasy, terrible sauce to cheese ratio – if it even had sauce, I couldn’t detect any – salty, & entirely too much (rather unappetizing) cheese. Yuck!

First off the only reason I ever went back to this place is because the new owner emailed me and offered me a free meal. I have been back since so I like the place. The freebie was a sausage and pepperoni pie that was off the charts really quality ingredients and some of the best sausage Ive had on a pie in ages. the little oil on the pie (hey look at the ingredients) tasted great too. cooked in a regular bari oven it should have been cooked a minute longer so the slice held up. I needed a fork to lift the slice before the first bite. definite 4.5 stars and was going to give a five!
Second trip I just wanted a sausage pepper and onion hero, sub, hoagie or grinder. No Subs there I had to settle for a wonderful sausage Stromboli. I loved it but I have to take a star away from a pizza place that doesn’t serve heroes!
If you ate here when it first opened go back for a second taste you won’t be sorry!

I was at a local event sponsored by Tu Pizza. I didn’t know he place existed until today. I live a couple blocks away and now have a a favorite pizza place to order from.

Excelente, tanto el servicio como la comida.
Super amables los duenos, el local organizado limpio y agradable.
La lasagna o pasticho como se llama en venezuela es supremo, la pizza tambien.
Para los que anoramos nuestra comida italiana tipo venezuela nos sentimos como estar alla.

Went on a friday and got the $ 7.99 Lasagna w/​two garlic rolls and one slice of ($ 2~) pepperoni pizza. Here’s my opinion. The lasagna was delicious and really cheesy. I would definitely recomend the lasagna. The garlic rolls were ok. They are NOT garlic rolls. They do not have the buttery garlic finish that pizza places have. They were fluffly and still good. The pepperoni slice was decent. It was not burnt, but it was a good level of crisp and tasted good. Im from NY and wish the slices had more grease and bigger sizes. It’s not authentic italian but its definitely worth it. Its better than dominos or any other corporate pizza places. Its hard to find but the restaurant is clean and looks great. I would recommend this place if you want lasagna. Try it for sure!

OMG! FINALLY found our Go To Pizza Spot. After trying about 5 other spots around Hollywood area, we stumbled across Tu Pizza. Sooooo Good. If anyone’s been to Naples, Italy, you know how amazing yet unique their pizza is. This is the closest thing I’ve seen to it in the States. Cross between Naples and NY style. It’s DELICIOUS. We had the best Margharita style pizza and prosciutto pizza. My husband dealt with customer service, so I can not comment on that but it sounded painless and no new is good news right?! :) Will be a returning customer for sure.

Pizza’s good, friendly service. They ask if you want seconds just like grandma always did!

The taste of the pizza was good. We asked for well done and we got it, the crust is so thin it was like a cracker and a little burnt.
We called for delivery and they mistakenly marked it fir pickup after and hour we called looking for our pizza. They were very acomedating and apologetic they offered to send somthing as a peace offering but there choice was another fail. They sent rolls.

My husband and I stumbled into Tu Pizza by chance when we first moved to Hallandale and have been coming on a weekly basis ever since! The pizza is delicious, Italian style pizza and everything is very reasonably priced. The service is great and we’re always treated like family when we come. Their pastas are really good too, I especially like their ricotta and spinach ravioli. Their salads come in a focaccia bowl that perfectly soaks up extra dressing! This is a fabulous local spot, super casual and easy going.

Love Tu Pizza! We order pizza once a week for delivery. It’s always hot and crispy! They have a new order on-​line and it works great!

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 damn star!
The most disgusting vile poor excuse for a restaurant I’ve seen in a while. They are SO lucky we ordered delivery and paid with cash because I would have not hesitated to do a chargeback!!! We ordered a margarita pizza. Not hard right. Menu says it’s comes with tomato & basil. What arrived? A regular cheese pizza! When I called I was told «oh sorry most people don’t like the tomato & basil so we leave it off, we should’ve asked you.» What?! Wtf did I order. If I wanted a regular cheese pizza, I WOULD HAVE ORDERED A REGULAR CHEESE PIZZA! But that isn’t all…
The ravioli… AWEFUL. TERRIBLE. NASTY DISGUSTINGNESS.
I have no clue what the good reviews below me have been eating or smoking because the ravioli was not fresh! Was pasty, cold & the cheese tasted sour.
This is why I cook more than we eat out because to be so disappointed while paying these people is even more disappointing & I honestly feel robbed.
The best thing they have are the crispy cookies & that’s because they don’t make it!

I just got an email from Unilocal telling me that the photo of the food Tu Pizza delivered to me and I posted was removed because…

It’s funny how pictures with good reviews in the captions are ok. What a joke.
When I do have the time to bother to write a review it’s because of one or two reasons: the place was really really bad or exceptionally good. If customers take pictures of disgraceful food than the restaurant should do something to make a change for the better, rather than complain to Unilocal to remove them.
There are several complaints of the same nature, and several patrons left feeling robbed.
This place has to be paying for the one or two good reviews they have.

Very good pizza, fresh ingredients, and good prices! The pizza sauce is not that good, next time i’ll get a white pizza.

BEST pizza and prices in town! The staff is very kind and fast with delivery. Best of all NO delivery fee! They also have Loyalty Rewards. 5 out of 5 stars!

Not impressed. I love thin crust pizza, but this was a very limp crust with burnt corn meal/​flour on the bottom and in distinguishable toppings. We ordered the Venezia and the grease was overwhelming. The only reason we ordered from Tu Pizza was the recommendation from the hotel bellman and they delivered. Unfortunately, the delivery driver didn’t have change and we had to get change from the front desk to tip the driver.

I originally didn’t order from here because I saw the mediocre reviews, but now that I’ve ordered from them a solid 10 times now, I can say with complete certainty that this place is great. Delicious thin crust pizza, interesting topping combinations, authentic pasta dishes, and awesome desserts! Everything is fresh and tastes homemade. The prices are good for what you get. Not to mention delivery is fast and the delivery person is always nice and efficient. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone. I like this place so much I figured they deserved a review from me.

Simply put, this was the best slice of pizza I ever ate. The bottom crust was a little burnt (an accident) but this surprisingly added to the taste. I’ll have them make it this was again!!!
