Was scheduled for an estimate to completely replace our furnace and AC system. Never received a call and the estimator never showed up. Called in to see what was up, found out the person never showed up to work and I was never placed on anyone else’s schedule nor contacted to reschedule after taking the afternoon off work to be available.

I needed to install a new Nat Gas Boiler, 95% AFUE system for my 1917 built home with radiator heating. I got quotes from different vendors including CenterPoint Energy, Sears, Standard Heating. McAlister beat them all on price and their technical know-​how. They seem to know what’s involved in and out. The install took a bit longer than they had expected, but I tell you they did a fantastic job and it was worth all the wait to get that final look and finish. I didn’t like the way PVC piping was routed due to space reasons, they listened to my concern and re-​routed it to my liking to give the space I needed, no questions asked. That is professionalism and I would hire these guys again anyday. Keep up the good work McAlister team!

I called McAlister Mechanical 3 days into a heat wave. As long time Center Point Energy customers, I was shocked when our air conditioner broke down and they told me they could not come to our home to look at it for 8 days. Since we already pay for their home service plus plan, I tried to wait it out in the sweltering heat with my two young boys and husband whose job requires him to sleep during the day. I finally gave up on Center Point and called McAlister after a great recommendation from a friend. McAlister’s service technician showed up by lunch time the SAME DAY, and not only did he repair our air conditioner on the spot, but he diagnosed a problem with the unit that Center Point had specifically told us was not an issue. We slept comfortably in a cool house that evening, and were very pleased with the quality of service as well as the reasonable pricing. I’m going to cancel our home service plus and use McAlister from now on.

My water heater broke when it hit –15 here this week. I called a few companies and they were talking a day or 2 till they can get out to my house. Navid and his guys were at my house within the hour and they were very reasonably priced and great to work with. Never wrote a review before but they’re great guys and I hope they grow.
