I never went into this restaurant until it was redone and underwent new ownership a little bit ago, and I am glad that I finally got a chance to! My first time here was last year and the service was wonderful. My Dad and I enjoyed some great subs and beers. I have been back plenty of times since for fish frys and various other menu items, and I absolutely LOVEIT. Everyone is very nice, very helpful, and the owner is incredibly caring. Any time we would dine in, the owner would come over and say hello. Every time my family and I order fish frys, we ALWAYS order from here! Normally we would switch it up, but nothing compares to Buster’s! The atmosphere is great too, especially since the remodeling. Shout out and a big thanks to the owner for supporting my Dad as well(currently in the hospital) by keeping a donation box up front! I highly recommend this place. It’s a great restaurant to highlight some of Hamburg’s wonderful food and atmosphere.

Just because you are a restaurant owner does not mean you can throw people out of the restaurant over some constructive criticism. I attempted to enjoy a dinner tonight Buster Jacobi’s but, had not one but two of the owners get defensive with us. Word of advice from someone who was a restaurant manager don’t ever say«we are doing just fine» and never underestimate the power of social media. There is a rule in the restaurant industry that says If you have a bad experience you are going to tell 10 people about your bad experience, and if you have a good experience you are only going to tell 3 people. The morale of the story is that you have to work harder for good repeat business. The food was fine but that is not the point. If this owner did not agree they should have smiled and nodded and went on their way. All this knowledge from a Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Scottsdale Graduate.
