I wish it were possible to give a zero star rating to a store.
I had the worst service from this store that I’ve ever had anywhere.
I special ordered a mattress in a three-​quarter bed size (the only size that fits most antique bedframes). Because today’s bed sets are so thick, they suggested that we order the box spring in the special 3 inch size. We did that, and it was clear to them that the only reason we were ordering the set was because we could get it with the lower box spring.
They delivered the set when my daughter was home alone; I was out of the state. She called me immediately and said something was wrong — that the bed came up to the height of her chin. I called the store within 15 minutes of delivery to complain. They basically said, «That’s right, the lower box springs are no longer made. Too bad, once it’s delivered, there is nothing you can do». I called numerous times this fall, was told No, I could not speak to a manager, all I could do was send a complaint to their website. I did that and never received a response. I received no phone calls in return to my many calls to them, despite being told that I would be called back soon. This has been the most frustrating, dishonest shopping experience I have ever had. My only recourse has been to tell all my friends (and haircutters, doctors, etc) about what an awful store this is. Awful.
