If you’re from Buffalo you know this is the place to be for some on demand tacos, burritos, nachos, etc. Decently priced, sometimes a little messy, but always delicious. The ONLY place I recommend for late night meals.

Fairly priced… Has a unique take on Mexican fast food. I do crave it on occasion and seems to me this a great treat after a night out for those bar hoppers out there.

Mighty Taco is fairly pricey for fast food. I think the cost is a little on the high end for what you actually get. It’s not as expensive as a sit-down restaurant, but I always end up surprised(as I pull away from the drive-thru) at how much money I actually just spent for a couple of burritos. Food quality is pretty good. The burritos themselves are sizable. For an adult male, I usually find that two burritos is enough to fill you up. The beef is fault processed in its look and texture, but the taste is decent. I haven’t tried everything on the menu, but anything that I’ve had has been enjoyable. One thing that I definitely recommend is the new BBQ pulled pork burrito(Get the coleslaw on it). Unfortunately, I think this is a limited time menu item. Hopefully they bring it back regularly, or add it to the main menu. All things considered, Mighty Taco is a Buffalo staple… So you’ve got to eat it every now and then. It’s not even remotely close to the quality of a place like Chipotle or Moe’s however.

Fast food Mexican… keep your expectations low and you will come away satisfied. Is it «authentic»? No. Does it fill a void in your gut around lunch time? Yes. Try the ground chicken el Nino and let the magic happen.

Not very good. Taco Bell is a much better fast food Mexican choice. beef is a soft mush.

Mighty Taco is a local favorite. I never had had a bad experience at any MT location. I would recommend it if someone is looking for cheap fast food! Also its a good spot to go to for late night munchies/drinking food! I recommend Mighty over any other fast food joint!(For the most part)

It’s an institution in Buffalo & the food is still pretty good. Try the Chicken Burrito Lite. Also, as I’m a diabetic, I’m happy to see they’re serving whole wheat tortillas — NEVER stop doing that guys!

Mighty Taco is to Taco Bell, as Wendy’s is to McDonalds. Seriously this isn’t supposed to be «real» Mexican food(it was started by 2 white guys, after all), but you can get half decent fast food that’s a little different from burgers and fries for a reasonable price.

Um, Dave really wanted Mighty Taco on our trip to Buffalo… Why? I don’t know??? We live in a place where REAL Mexican food exists — so why even grace Mighty Taco with your appetite?!? BARF.

Gross, disgusting, and«I wouldn’t feed this even to my dog!» These are all ways to describe the food that seemingly, only people after a night of drinking seem to like. A Mexican restaurant of any kind should never dispense sour cream from a caulk gun, or infuse low quality«BBQ» into a taco. If you must eat Mexican food in WNY you can find a few eatable places, but this place isn’t one of them.

I used to be an avid fan of MT. we used to stop at the one on Walden on the way home from the airport when I lived in another state… but I have to say recently it has really gone downhill… they just make me literally sick now… the tortillas are sometimes good sometimes crusty… and they are thrown together like the employees just dont care anymore. very disappointing.won’t go again and I live only 2 m. from one…

Mighty Crappo, more like. Personal Experience here: Awhile back, I was driving me and my friend home from a local bar down in Orchard Park(I think it was Flappy’s). He asked me to drive him home because he knows I don’t drink. On the way to his place, he begged me to stop here so he could get some tacos. That happened every time I ever hung out with him. He offered to get me some food, but I refused as politely as possible. He ordered some chicken tacos and insisted I try one. It wasn’t my first Mighty Taco but it was my first(and last) time at this location. Oh dear. The chicken was so bland and chewy and felt more like a chicken paste than ground chicken. I couldn’t finish my taco. It was just pukeworthy to me. When I finally got home after dropping my friend off, I gave the rest of my taco to my pets and they nibbled at it. So if I was rating it as pet food, I’d give it a 3. But I’m not. General chain comments: There are lots of Buffalonians that know food, but those that tell you«if you are only in Buffalo one day, try Mighty Taco», or say«WNY has great food, for example, Mighty Taco», are not among them. They are what is affectionately known as delusional, and we would never be caught dead in the vicinity of Mighty Taco. I once heard someone on Unilocal describe fans of Mighty Taco as suffering from the food version of Stockholm Syndrome. That would be hilariously funny if it wasn’t so regrettably true. Every location of MT is busier than every local Buffalonian food joint I have ever reviewed, and also busier than most other fast food outlets too. That last point is not a bad thing since I don’t like national chains anyway, but the former is a tragedy. Buffalo DOES have some good Buffalo Tacos, in fact some amazing ones which have nothing to do with Mexican food, usually served by local Pizza/Wing joints or even bars… but Mighty Taco is one step below Taco Bell. Did you hear me? I said one step below Taco Bell. Yes. I know that seems impossible. Like a contradiction in terms. An oxymoron. But it’s true. I thought Taco Bell was the worst food on earth. Until I tried Mighty Taco. It is just… so… bad. Please, please, please stop associating this place with Buffalo. Buffalo has the best food of any small city in the USA… but Mighty Taco, along with Anchor Bar and Duff’s… is one big local embarrassment. The less famous places will rock your world. Read about some of them in my reviews :) No Mighty Taco! No!

Horrendous! Disgusting! Vile! Was told«If Taco Bell was good, it’d be Mighty Taco.» WRONG! Taco Bell is like eating prime rib compared to this slop.

Mighty Taco is a taco chain that exists only in Western N.Y. It was here way before Taco Bell hit town, so they are everywhere. The sauce used is not standard salsa, its flavor is unique to Buffalo; reminiscent of chicken wing sauce.(Hot, Medium or Mild) Recent menu additions are a refreshing change(Roastitos, etc) Each store is generally fast, clean, cheap and fun. You can get a good meal for less than $ 5.00. If you grew up around the Buffalo area, chances are you hung out at one. This one in Hamburg has a drive-up window and lots of parking and seating. WARNING: Mighty taco is pretty healthy food but very addictive.
