Aladdin

NOT calling Aladdin would be a waste of time! What I am writing is completely contradictory to what the last review said. I called looking for an awning for my new home on two different occasions. Both women I spoke with on the phone were very helpful in providing me with the information I needed. With my second phone call I set up an appointment for the owner, Gerry to come to my home to give me an estimate. He gave be a 2 hour window between 1 and 3 to be home and arrived promptly at 1. He took a quick measurable and was immediately able to give me prices that beat 2 other companies I previously received quotes from. Although I did not have a coupon for my awning he gave me the discount anyway. Gerry was very pleasant and extremely knowledgable about the awning we were looking for and even gave us some color choices out of the huge book that he thought would look best, and for a guy he knew his stuff! After I ordered my awning he gave told me it would be in, in about 2 to 3 weeks. 2 ½ weeks later I got a phone call from Frank, the head installer, who was very accommodating with my schedule in order to install. The Frank and his nephew came to install the awning and it was done so quickly and when they left our home, our deck was spotless. I could have not asked for a more professional family-​run business. I now recommend Aladdin to all of my friends and family members who are looking for awnings, windows etc.

Don’t even waste your time calling. The man was 45 minutes outside of my window, then when he arrived he was extremely rude and condescending. The entire estimate lasted less then 2 minutes. He was extremely insulting, refused to explain the things I was asking about. He got very angry when I dared question the overly inflated price he quoted me. He then stormed out of my home insulting me as he left, when I told him that his attitude s*cked and he shouldn’t treat people like this he laughed at me, muttered I was ridiculous and made a few lude comments under his breath. I have never been so insulted in my own home. His job is to give people estimates, if he didn’t want to come out today then cancel the appointment. I gave up my day to wait for him and have him insult us.
