Batman fixed up the exterior of my home, including replacing a shutter, bird-proofing my vents, and clearing my clogged gutters(a tennis ball was in there!). Marine vet and family owned. I recommend!

I have had a pretty bad experience with this handyman company. They seemed great at first. Andy came to my house and looked at everything I needed done, took photos, and gave me an estimate before sending his son to do the work. I had five items to complete, none of them difficult: the front door wasn’t shutting easily, the shower needed caulking, the toilet downstairs was running, the screen door had a rip in it and the door knob to the kitchen door was stuck. The first trip took about 4 hours and the only thing that was accomplished was the caulking of the shower. The toilet couldn’t be fixed downstairs; the toilet upstairs(that I didn’t ask him to fix) he decided to work on, but couldn’t fix; the front door he couldn’t fix(next he decided he had to replace the hinges); and the door knob he took apart, oiled and replaced, but it still didn’t work well. So, next trip he replaced the door hinges — now the door was very difficult to shut(you had to put some weight into it) and the handle didn’t work correctly. Even though the effect was immediate, this had nothing to do with their work. So, the door was never fixed to my satisfaction. The toilet downstairs was repaired on the second go-round but I was charged for it twice. The upstairs toilet still runs. The door knob in the kitchen was still not working so I bought a new knob and they replaced that — I was charged for«fixing» it and then replacing it. The screen door was nicely fixed and put back in it’s place in the kitchen. The first time the weather was nice I went to use it and now it doesn’t close all the way. It closed fine before, but now it doesn’t. I’m sure they will once again say that it’s not their fault even though they’re the only ones that touched it. So for a total of $ 800 I got the shower caulked and the downstairs toilet fixed and a new door knob put on my kitchen door. The upstairs toilet still runs, the front door still doesn’t work well and the screen door is now bent and and not closing. I will certainly not use this service again and I wouldn’t recommend them either.
